Can Dogs drink milk? Is Milk harmful for your puppy?

Your dog friends must have told you that ‘Milk is not safe for dogs’, but you also have seen many dogs lapping up a full bowl of milk without any problem. And you always think “How is it possible?”
Well, there are many facts and myths about feeding milk to a puppy or a dog among dog owners.
But what you should know is that Mother’s milk is the basis of every mammal’s diet after birth, when their digestive systems are immature and small. Basically, it is a powerful food, rich in protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, and antibodies that protect the puppy’s body from any infection, regulates the immune system, and helps the body to grow.
So, after so many benefits, why shouldn't I give milk to my dog?
Well, milk also contains a natural-sugar called LACTOSE, which is vital for proper nutrition during the lactation phase.
A puppy’s gut produces a large amount of an enzyme called LACTASE that breaks down the LACTOSE into GLUCOSE and GALACTOSE, to provide energy and digest the Milk properly.

My friend and I just had a huge fight over this because I was sharing my frozen Greek yogurt with my beloved Great Dane who I named Bennison, it's sugar & flavor free and everything so don't worry, and he was freaking out because he believed milk was as bad for dogs as chocolate and it turned into a HUGE fight so I had to show him this video and now he wants to get his Italian Grey Hound, named Bus (Inside joke because of the bus company named Greyhound), & Chinese Crested, Named Mountain (as a inside joke involving Mount Baldy lol), Greek yogurt because they always stare at him with great intensity when he eats it 😂
But long story short we made up and he said his pups lucked out on this fine day since he's gonna introduce them to Greek yogurt now
