Woodturning | Natural Edge Maple Burl Bowl

In this video I turned a maple burl Bowl on the lathe. This piece has some beautiful figure and color inside and out. I left the natural edge on the top of this one.

Hi my name is Carl Jacobson,
I started woodworking with my grandfather as a young boy. I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. I watch Jim Sprague out of Canada and he has the One Way bowl saver and he absolutely loves it. He uses it quite often when he thinks he can get an extra bowl or two out of a blank.
