you re genius, you solved a big problem, you can find an ecu for peanuts just because there is not key system.......when i swapped my 2zz i used a jdm ecu with an hks speed limit defencer.......i paid a lot of money ( around 400 euros) just becaused the original ecu was blocked

Yes correct.
Or you could just swap the whole eeprom chip from one to the other, that would work too.
What is the name of the software and interface you used to read the chip?
I used gq-4x4 which has its own software. But any cheap eeprom reader will work like the EZP2019 or EZP2023

Yes it is the same IC and I'm pretty sure that will work totally fine.
