VIR is awesome. Raced it in AC a couple months back. No idea why no one would want to race there. It is ridiculous how up and down it is. And the variety of corners is perfect.
New to iRacing and I'm glad I followed your suggestion of getting the Porsche Cup car. It is very fun to drive once you get the hang of it. First time driving VIR as well, so this combo really requires 100 % of me.
Ran this race earlier tonight... finally conquered my P Cup demons and took a win in this series... so many times I have gotten out front for the car to try and kill me... Love this combo for some reason.
I got iracing 10 days ago and I’m already on 2700. Today I was in shock to see fernando alonso in my race where I beat him because he crashed himself out. This was a Ferrari race at summit point.
Hi Dave, great race! in france we have 2 police departments : 1 regular police for big city areas, gendarmerie is for country fields and those ones belong to the military corp.

It’s nice to watch your streams because it reminds me in an alternate universe that there is a version of iRacing somewhere where insane dive bombs & spending 5 minutes in the pits because of someone else’s foolish driving aren’t the norm and people understand racing lines & sometimes a clean top 5 is better than wrecking everybody to try & be 1st.

That looked awesome Dave, Difficult track with more than 50% of curves and bends being out of sight beyond a crest or some sort of hump! Tough track. Well done and a real shame you got pipped for 2nd at the end. I thought you could have defended that, but who am I to say, I'm no expert, lol
Best thing for me and the dual clutch is lower the bite to 40 then once you've released the right lever you just move the left a tiny amount for it to bite

Love the videos! Just recently got back into iRacing and you produce some great content. For the incidents are you going through all the replays and picking them out yourself, or can you skip to them?
I think this is what you are asking, you can set up a "next incident button" on the replays control page and then cycle through them when you start the replay
Do you use any mods for braking in iRacing? Does anyone? I'm thinking about getting a subscription and have never tried iRacing. I'm into GT3 and heard braking was an issue compared to ACC? Is this true and do I need anything?
No I don't use any 'tricks' for braking although some do. In ACC you just stamp on the pedal to 100%, but in iracing you have to be a bit more precise 👍
