The real issue is taking normal plods and dressing them up like some kind of special forces operator. Its ridiculous. Webbing, body armour, trousers tucked in combat boots, pouches, patches, tasers strapped on the front like firearms etc.

"Blousing" their trousers into their boots always makes me laugh... the only reason Mil personnel do it is in tropical and desert areas to stop insects, lizards and scorpions etc crawling up/into the boot and trouser legs, and for moving while prone.... you will never see it in temperate zoned Army bases.
There's not that many insects in the UK on tarmac roads and pavements, and, looking at the dropping fitness standards of most police personnel, if they went prone they'd not get back up without assistance.
oh to get back to the days of real policemen minimum 6 foot, hard as nails, dressed like men, and respected by everyone.

The officer you're referring too is an AFO so hence the reason for his kit being the way it it, also for specialist roles such as firearms, police forces issue trousers (keela and the likes) that are elasticated around the ankle so they don't actually have them tucked in but gives off that impression. Taser is often carried on the vest as it's deemed the best place for it as the belt dosnt have much room left after all the other PPE is on it (although some officers opt to have or are issued a vest to carry their kit rather than have it on a belt)

Literally in my opinion anyone who wants to be an officer should have to spend at least 1 year at uni to learn law. I had to go on a course when I worked as a barista had to know literally every tiny detail all the allergens and the products all the prices and the cleaning chemicals everything, but you can apply to be a cop do a 6 months course learn absolutely nothing and get the job easily

I love when police say you are here to be difficult when they are challenged on knowledge of the law. The difficult part is that they don't actually know the law so they express themselves this way making you the problem. its sheer ignorance.
Unfortunately, courts have ruled police don’t have to know the law as long as they know they have the powers.. I’m not exactly sure how that works.. because, how can you know you have the powers if you don’t know the law that gives you the power!?🧐
A good example, Kolee asked if he can go into the building.. if he did not jump any barriers or cause damage that would be civil trespass the police like any other land owner have a right to remove him, there is no power of arrest.
Police have made a number of false arrests for civil trespass on auditors including Kolee one officer actually quoted vagrancy act!🙄
There are over eleven thousand laws on the books.. as the officer rightly pointed out it’s impossible for an officer to know all laws and I agree 💯 despite the fact it’s their job.
However, as a member of the public we have to know all laws and ignorance of the law is no excuse.. NOW, this is where I have a major problem.. it’s not our job to know the law why can’t we get the same pass as these incompetent officers!? 😳 if I beaks the law my defence should be I don’t have to know the laws it’s not my job.. 😂😂😂
As you can see there’s a major double standard, also why most officers are so stupid and incompetent in their role.. it’s all by design.

However a person may legally use force to resist the unlawful arrest of constable as that point , they are not acting in the execution of their duty devis vs lisle 1936

Yes, Sec.24 PACE gives police power of arrest without a warrant.. However, kolee must commit a specific crime defined in status for a lawful arrest.. think about it.. otherwise, a police officer can literally arrest anyone for any reason..

Civil Trespass can turn criminal if he jumped a barrier/forced entry etc. to get Into the location, damage property or obstruct the flow of business to the establishment.. Any landowner has the right to lawfully remove any trespasser.. if all remain the same that’s the only lawful option for the police.

Also, the female cop should get spoken to about tucking her hands into her stab vest - cops get pulled up for it all the time because A: it makes them look even more slovenly than usual and B: it's an officer safety issue - they aren't prepared to defend themselves if someone decides to stick one on them.

How disturbing to hear that the failure of the police to charge this man allowed him to be in a position to further abuse minors. Too many officers who break the law are allowed to resign or retire on full pension. If the public are held accountable for their behaviour we expect the same of our public servants.

If security is at high alert they don’t seem to be taking it very seriously. There should be barriers ,signs, more security , and notices stating that unauthorized people will be searched and vetted before access is allowed. There should also be notices stating that photography is not allowed. Nothing like that seems to be in existence.

I have a feeling these audits are being discussed privately between officers in group chats and how to get arrests. Having viewed plenty of audits and the police’s interaction with auditors, the Sargent was quick with the obstruction and aggravated trespass threat. Also his explanation for obstruction was too thought out for such a short interaction.
