This is such a powerful song with a message that can be applied to anything anyone is going through that they have struggled with. It is so universal and the ladies of Cimorelli did a wonderful job. They left out the intro part of the song where Kesha is just speaking. I am not sure why, but the way the girls were raised probably has something to do with it and they did not want to pass on the very dark opening where Kesha hints at her thoughts of suicide she had at one time.
hi :) i honestly don't think that they didn't include the intro because of the way they were raised. their original "one more night" handles with suicide and giving up for example. maybe they just didn't want to "copy" it or something like that. :)
Yes, but the intro talks of doubt that God exists and that part would not fit with their beliefs. Even when they deal with the subject of suicidal thoughts in their own songs like Alive they never have the characters they play doubting the existence of God, but they also don't go and preach either.
