She is an incredible singer. And I never understand how she was so underrated for industry. She was amazing and it's still.
She’s still gorgeous. I met her years ago in Florida. She is even more beautiful in person, and she was so gracious and kind.
after nearly 30 years of super women and many other hits she still looks the same' she has aged gracefully!
She's less problematic by not forcing herself to be famous but doing what she loves!
I wished she had only took a brief hiatus! ❤

So good to see her baaaaack! Loved that movie clip too. She has never left my rotation since forever. I heard the cut w/Jeff L.orber way back in early 80’s at a club called 24k in L.A. I tore it up and shimmied on the part, You might think that I’m as cold as ice...when her tape, yes cassette tape came out, I got it. Then when it came out in CD, her greatest hits, I got it too! Just like the OG R&B performers, our music was stolen. Our style was stolen. Record labels want to Cheat our performers out of their value. R&B Soul, has faithful followers. If you can sing, we will sing every note with you no matter how long you’ve been in or out of radio rotation. I don’t buy Adele. I don’t buy Sam. I don’t buy Bruno. Not hatin, I just like my OG Classic R&B...Neo Soul and Oldies by folks that I relate to. That’s just me.
