Thanks for zooming in on the cards, it must have been a lot of work, but it's worth it!

at 1:18:13, Glad uses Optimal Aerobraking against the Giant Space Mirror. OA is only for space events, not space projects. Not sure If you're adding Klingon Subtitles or if this was caught before. All the best and thanks again, these are fantastic learning video's!!!

Hi David. Thanks a lot for letting us know about that error. You are absolutely correct. This video was made before we were putting mistakes in the Klingon subtitles, but I have added a note there anyway. Really glad that you are enjoying our videos. That is great to hear. Cheers!

I love this game. Your playthroughs are great. I like that you get right down to business and play. I
Can't wait for my Big Box Kickstarter to arrive TODAY with all the expansions. I haven't played any expansions yet. Watching your playthroughs has me excited.. LOL

Hi Rodney. Thanks for your comment! We're delighted to hear you are enjoying our playthroughs! Did your Big Box Kickstarter arrive? We love Terraforming Mars too. The expansions add a lot of variety to the game. I think Prelude is the best of them, and we would now never play without it. The others we add and leave out depending on how much time we have. The 3D pieces really add to the game too. Let us know how you get on! Enjoy!!

It did arrive!! It seems great! I began opening all the expansions last night. I plan on placing everything in the box today. I am most looking forward to Prelude and the new Hellas and Elysium boards to play on. All the expansions look terrific. But Turmoil seems to be a bit too heavy. Not sure how often I’ll get to play that.

@@rodneydunn9611 Turmoil is a little heavy so I guess it is better to try the other expansions first. Prelude is something that you will use all the time I think and the Hellas and Elysium boards are nice to change things up a bit. Colonies and Venus Next are good to play together because the extra cards in each set with Floaters etc. really complement each other. Turmoil to me kind of feels like a different game that is tagged on to the base game, but it does have some interesting mechanics and gives you some new things to think about so you might try it after you get a few games of the other ones under your belt!

Fantastic video, just learning the game and the explanation is so good that even without playing a single game I could follow along and understand. Very helpful. Question, where did get those SUPER SICK 3D TILES??? They really add some fun to the game. Appreciate your efforts and keep up these videos!

Hi David! Really glad that you enjoyed the video. It's great to hear that you were able to follow along and see how the game works. We got the 3D tiles on Etsy. We play Terraforming Mars a lot so it is really nice to have the 3D pieces. Also, I would say the player board overlays are essential because it is so easy to knock the pieces off the player boards. Thanks for the encouragement! Our next release is actually Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition. We gave the coop version a go!

Great video guys. Adopted Glai's tactics when I got the Ecoline corporation! Where did you get the 3D tiles from? Really like the fact that the cubes sit in the top.

Thanks a lot Hector. Glad you liked it. We picked up the 3D tiles on Etsy. They really add to the experience when playing and since TM is one of our favourite games we just had to have them!

    Kewl video.
Question: At the 1hr 9 minute mark, you pay for the Tectonic Stress Power Card. You use the “heat” credits instead of the “energy” credits on your game board.
The card specifically had an “energy” tag.
Can you do what you did?
In other words, are the “heat” credits the same as the “energy” credits?
I ask, because during the Production Phase, the energy credits get CONVERTED into heat. They are not the same.
    Well…unless I am incorrect.
I say this because if I wanted to grab 8 heat credits to increase the temperature and increase my TR rating, I thought I could not grab the credits from the energy box of the game board. I thought they MUST be in the heat area if the game board.
    Just asking.
Great video. Answered one or two of my questions. One of which was where a “volcano area” on mars was.

Hi Raymond. Thank you very much for your comment. We are very happy that you liked our video. As regards your question, I (Pat) am using the Helion corporation (check from 00:00:23) and the special ability of this corporation is that heat can be used as M€. The energy tag does not matter for this. Before the temperature parameter is maxed out, I prefer not to use heat as credit because Helion should get most of the TR from the temperature track, but as soon as it reaches the top of the track then heat is a great extra source of income for Helion. Energy and Heat are not the same resource, but at the end of each generation, any remaining energy will then be converted into heat.
I hope this helped. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)

@@AllAboardBoardgames Solid. I did not catch that. Good strategy to remember if I should draw that Corporation card next time.
      Thanks for the quick response.
