Excellent. Thanks Jon. You’ve posted this at an uncannily appropriate time as me and my partner have been struggling with it a fair bit. On balance I’m not sure we are “enjoying” it.
I could be mistaken but are you supposed to discard all Astral Column cards after readying a spell or just the ones you used? EDIT: Just got the rules out and looked. Yep you were right. Have been playing that all wrong.
At 29:52 you mention that you can't prepare the Find Gate spell because you have no yellow, but you have a yellow spell prepared. What you don't have is a green symbol.
I'm unsure if a review will happen for this one, at this point I haven't really played it correctly with other people. This playthrough and prep for it was done by myself and the only other time it was played was at GenCon last year and we got a couple key rules wrong in our haste to read them and play. I believe Yog's ability actually means that the spell you ready doesn't count toward your three total spells you can have ready.
I had to look this one up online and it's clarified in the official FAQ. I thought it was your interpretation at first but I'm glad I checked.

Well I own this game and I still learned some new things ,it looks like I missed 2 rules when I was teaching it.
