I would say to start out, ask around people you may know to see if they need something build or if they know someone who might need some tech help! I say that because in freelancing the most important thing is trust and reputation. And so if you already know someone then they already trust you and that is the easiest way to get in! That's how I started! Then you can start trying to apply for jobs on Upwork. But understand that this takes time and so be patient! if you want to chat more, messages me on instagram!

As a software developer freelancing is better than Full time job ?
I would say it really depends on what you are comfortable with. Freelancing is a lot more stressful, but I do get a lot more freedom which I like
How did you get your contract work? / Does any of your contractors need an extra developer? I work with the MERN stack and I am looking for a gig
I got my contract work through a friend I met at WeWork. Unfortunately they are not looking for any more developers right now.
