Jon I'm honestly madly in love with you and all your content I've watched you for so long your literally baby daddy I love youuu keep up the good work pookie🫶🏼

How fitting. I was just about to pirate a game about pirating pirate themed games!
See you again next year, maybe with a good video then.

I would love to see that too. Should pitch it to JonTron. Hope he sees your comment.
That reporter hates sloths because she has to do a report on sloths while her colleagues are getting promoted.
Yeah that's the energy I'm getting. She's pissed she has to cover this story so she's taking it out on the specialist and the sloths
With that attitude, no wonder they put her on Sloth duty

Good thing her degree isn't in music.
@@MissRora to be fair, perfect pitch isn't something music majors are just expected to have. It's more like being double jointed: only a small percentage of the population has perfect pitch and there's no good signs that one can learn it through training. I would actually be way more surprised if she just nailed the note out of nowhere without a reference pitch.
*sudden realization*
If the sloths can recognize D# and sing it on command, does that mean that sloths are naturally born with perfect pitch?!?!
God. Thank you. My perfect pitch brain was going insane at that part 🤣
@@francismccarthy5926anyone with perfect pitch MUST mention they have it at any given opportunity holy fuck 😂😂
My favorite recording of sloths is when Sir David Attenborough sneaks up on a sloth and quietly says, "boo!" and the sloth just stares at him as if saying, "not cool, man".
I saw a edit of that video where someone put the Requiem of a Dream music over it and it was amazing.
''They prefer to be alone, until they don't.''

I hope that scientist was like "I'm gonna screech in this lady's ear and make her think its a science thing"
It is true that Sloth females call out for potential mates, but there is no way that woman did that for any other reason than being annoyed by the reporters stupid questions. She was just using Sloth Biology as an excuse to troll a catty journalist. Honestly, you love to see it.

Fun fact: there's a giant misconception that sloths are so stupid that they mistake their own arms for tree branches and fall to their deaths as a result, in truth however, that's not the case, this was a one of occurrence that happened to a BABY sloth and the source of this claim comes from the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy.
So. A lie, just like the lemmings.
are you telling me The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is not a good source of information? Sounds like Encyclopaedia Galactica propaganda.

@@MrEpeeFencer I can't rule that out, and it's entirely possible, granted. That said, I _have_ met natural specialists before, and they do seem to have this vibe, like, generally? I met falconers who basically act the same way, equine specialists who absolutely act the same way, and don't even get me started on the bat specialist that came to our biology class one day when I was a teen (I got a full copy of her book about bats and how they work. That woman was really cool).
I also think it's just a hobbyist thing. I definitely met automobile enthusiasts who're like this for cars, and I personally do geek out more than I should when I randomly go to some store to buy games after groceries, and they somehow have a copy of Megaman X3 in its original Super NES boxart. @milliondollarmistake that's all you heard on camera. Look at all the shit she talked about the sloths for absolutely no reason. A 4chan post pointing out how Koalas are far more useless would merit bullying Koalas more. Nobody bullies koalas tho because they are cuter.
Fuck koalas, they suck
I actually think Koalas are by far not as cute as sloths, and a lot more unpleasant. Also, yeah. They're less intelligent.
Not to mention they can attack humans, unlike Sloths, that actually like us. I saw a video of one saved on the road and asked for a hug once it reached a tree. That's wholesome.🦥

The media hates sloths for being able to survive while panda's have been trying to go extinct but humans are trying to keep em alive because of the cuteness factor.
Here's a fact, sloths are most vulnerable to predators when pooping. They poop once every few days and when they do they can lose as much as a third of their body weight afterwards. Also, despite it taking a while to relieve themselves, instead of pooping from a tree, for unknown reasons, a sloth will venture all the way down to the forest floor to do so.
The more you know!
I was wondering why they don't just do it from the tree, unless they just don't like the smell. I imagine not pooping for a few days isn't an issue if it takes them long enough to eat too.
well if they did poop on the tree they wouldn't be able to get that perfect pooping angle & out of courtesy for other sloths.
I'm no scientist but I am also a biological organism. Id bet it's wiping it's ass using the dirt.
They go down to the forest floor because they're sloths, not savages.
