- I'm back on track this week and feeling very positive. The app tells me I'm now 51% there, and if you're a regular viewer, you'll know what that means .... :)
Thanks again to everyone who has been so kind and supportive to me and encouraged me every step of the way, and good luck to everyone who is walking alongside me - we've GOT this! :)

Brilliant Annie just so good to see what a difference it’s making to your life, you look great and very happy. x 💐
Thank you so much Jen, it really does feel like a new lease of life, definitely worth the effort. Thank you as always for your positivity and support xo
Yippee! Well done Annie. Great result this week. I’m intrigued and can’t wait for tomorrow’s video🤗💕
Yay! Thank you Liz :) xo
Yay You! 🎉 Keep your groove going!
Thank you Rose! Will do! I'm definitely in the groove now :) xo
This is fabulous Annie. Well done! 🎉❤
Thanks so much Anita, hard to believe that I'm half way up the hill now and tbh it doesn't feel like that steep of a hill really, so far - although I know things do start to slow down as you get nearer to your target weight, but even so I feel really positive now and confident that I can do it :) xo
I am so excited for you. !!!!!!!!! Way to go 🎈🎈🎈
Thank you Judy :) xo
So pleased for you, well done Annie xx ❤❤
Thank you very much Mandy, I am beginning to feel a definite difference at last, and I think it's time I need to go buy some new trousers - blimey!! :)
Congratulations on your progress! I haven’t seen your video for a couple of weeks and can really see you have shrunk! You look great! Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
Thank you so much, that's really kind of you - hoping I will see the change when I do my "twirl montage" next week!! :) xo
Yay! Well done, Annie, thats a great result this week!
Thank you Kari :)
Congratulations! My body seems to be rearranging itself, while I diet. As I understand it, my body was going to be rearranging anyway (because of my age). Gravity has pulled everything that it can DOWN (in very unbecoming ways).
hehe, know that feeling - I'm a bit concerned also that I will start to get more lines in my face as I lose the layer of fat, but hey ho, that's life I guess - onwards and upwards .... or downwards ... but at least not outwards hopefully! :D xo
Do you!!! That’s most important!!!! Great work!!!🥰😘
Always! thank you Joy :) xo
So proud of you Annie! More than half way there 🎉🥳 And agree you can definitely wear some more fitted clothes with pride 🤗 cheers, Christine
Yay! Thank you Christine, it really feels like sold progress now and also more like a permanent change for the better. I might at least get a couple of less baggy tops, some trousers that don't fall down, and possibly not-quite-so-big-girl pants! :D
Wooooo Hoooooo!! Way to go, Sweet Girl! I am so proud for you, dear friend. Well done! That's a terrific result and I'm sure you are well chuffed. Eating out can be a minefield and it sounds as though you handled it wonderfully. Biggest hugs, love & bless xoxo
Thank you Lindsey! Yes indeed I was well chufed with that result, and hopefully it means I will be able to learn to maintain once I get to my goal - which should be before Christmas if I can keep this going (though all of the social occasions around the festive period will be a challenge). Thank you for the virtual hugs, sending some back xo
Annie congratulations 🙌! Wow half way there you go girl. Aww friendship video yep will watch, see you tomorrow aww exciting your excited so I am know excited.
Thank you Paula! :) xo
I can’t believe you have now done 17 weeks, where on earth has the time gone. You have done amazingly well and I think we are all very proud of you. xx
Ah thank you so much Maggie - I'm hoping that if the app is right and I'm half way through, I'll be at my target weight by Christmas, which is only about 20 weeks away! Although I know things tend to slow down as you have less to lose, but if I can keep it steady at a pound or so each week, I should get there. Thank you for your constant support and encouragement xo
You're doing great Annie! Looking forward to tomorrow's video.
Thank you Linda xo
Well done Annie, I am doing a happy dance for you and chanting go Annie !! Hope you can hear me 😂😂 there is something very satisfying about losing the inches and you notice the figures never mind clothes being more comfy. 51% brilliant. I am not a fitted clothes girl either even though I have lost weight.
Great work!! Celebrating with you! I’ve lost just about 16 pounds so far on my journey. We got this!
Thank you, and well done to you too - yes we can definitely do this, on step at a time. This is the first time I've lost weight slow and steady and really changed my lifestyle and mindset, so I'm feeling very positive, and confident that I'll be there by Christmas - then in the new year it will be time to learn how to maintain, but that will be a whole other story! Keep going, see you next week xo
lovely to see you're doing well annie 🥰
Thank you Chantelle!!
Well done Annie!!!! Yay!!! ❤
Thank you Tori! :) xo
So happy that youtube recommended you to me. Love your positive attitude. Impressed that you're losing the way you are (It's taken me six years to go from 19st 3lb to 15st 5lb BUT down is the right direction no matter how long it takes!) and looking forward to the second 50% of your journey. Hopefully you'll let us know how maintenance goes too? I've binged your weight loss diaries now to go check out your crafting stuff.
I'm happy about that too, thanks very much for watching and taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it. As you say, it doesn't matter how long it takes, as long as we're going in the right direction that's what counts. I fully expect things to slow down a bit as I get nearer to my goal, but I'll just keep moving forward and I know I'll get there in the end. I've yo-yoed a lot in the past, but this is the first time I've felt like I've made a real change in my lifestyle and it really feels like I'm giving myself a better life, rather than depriving myself, if you know what I mean. The crafting definitely helps - keeps my mind and hands busy so I'm less likely to drink and snack, especially in the evenings. Good luck on your continuing journey and please do keep me posted as to how you're getting on :) xo
So happy to meet you!… I personally met my goal for awhile, ..I stayed on it consistently, but then some major life stress snuck in and stayed on for several 6 months or more or so and before long , I gained most back😢…
…How could I not even noticed that🤷♀️before it got so bad?.. ( Just thinking out loud as I am starting over, but?also allowing myself to be lazy not walking because of extreme heat in my state, really contributed…Darn😮…
Oh well..Back at it…
My BMI is also at 29, again l.
Anyway, way I am excited for you!
I love live to wear loose overalls, for my outside work and painting and messy glue etc.
…..I do use my winter denim overalls to make very light weight , cotton with tiny flowers and summer colors,
Those just makes me smile!
I love the idea of dresses, but think I look like a lump in them!…
I am taller and have always had a more athletic type body with really broad shoulders!😮…after shoulders pad went out( which I never needed😂)…
I really hated dresses on me…my shoulder width seem to make me look stocky all the way down, and fitted clothes fill uncomfortable to me. Oh, well.
l like to believe that we are
all beautiful in our own ways!
and to remember that I am so grateful to be alive l, this health and so active at just over 70!! ❤😊…keep moving everybody and think kind thought of yourselves and others!👍💪💪💪🤗
Hi Kathy, good to meet you too! I can relate to your experience of working hard to lose a lot of weight, then hitting a crisis of one kind or another and putting it all back on again, it's heartbreaking and depressing and can easily turn into a self-destructive cycle for me, where I eat and drink even more and do even less, feel even worse etc etc. This time does feel different though - it's the first time I've taken it so slow and steady and the first time I've really felt like I'm making a permanent change to my lifestyle, so I'm hoping it will "stick"!
It's also the first time I've shared my journey on RUclips like this, and it's been a huge help in keeping me motivated.
I can also relate to how you feel about your body shape, although for me it's being really short (5'2") and having big boobs - I feel like a mushroom shape and struggle to find a style that suits my shape and my personality, and being so overweight wasn't helping at all.
I guess previously weight loss has been more about how I look, but now I'm in my 60s, I want to focus on being healthier, giving myself a new lease of life so that hopefully I can continue to do all the things I love for as long as possible, I think that's why my mindset is different this time.
anyway, Kathy, all we can do is keep on keeping on and we'll get there in the end - we can do it!! Please keep me posted how you're doing xo
Well done Annie!!!
Thank you very much Rhonda! :)
Brilliant Annie ❤
Thanks Karen :) xo
Brilliant idea! ❤👍from Somerset
Thank you Liz! 😊 I'm really hoping to bring a few people along with me on this adventure, so I'm very happy you like the idea xo
Great job. Congratulations
Thank you Darlene! :) xo
More than half way there well done. Me I lost a pound so 👍❤
Well done to you too Pippa! I reckon if I can keep doing one pound a week, I should be there by Christmas - we can do this, we just have to keep moving forward, no looking back :D
