With all the craziness in the world, this is such a confirmation of love, hope, compassion for animals and nature. Your beautiful heart soothes my soul.
Man your stuff is so amazing, Inspiring even. Just sitting down and listening to someone talk about what they love is so relaxing and entertaining. Love your stuff dude!
I don't comment on all of these update videos because I feel like I only ever have the same (positive!) things to say, but I genuinely love and look forward to these updates so much. Maybe I'm just emotional right now but this one made me tear up with wonder and joy (and a little bit of despair that I'm not there to see these amazing sights in person to be totally honest lol). Every single one of your wildlife videos gives me so much peace and love for the world. Thank you for your work in conservation, documentation, communication, entertainment, and all the other skills and areas of practice making these videos requires! Even through a screen, it always helps me feel reconnected to nature and grateful for this beautiful earth, even on my worse days. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Thank you for sharing this and for the words of encouragement! It's nice to know that some of the excitement and love for nature comes through in the videos and brings you peace ❤
So excited to see all the updates on your projects, how fun! And I can't wait to see the first snow for you guys. You have such a gorgeous property, and a wonderful variety of wildlife. Thank you for sharing it with us!
You truly live my dream life. Thank you for letting me/us vicariously enjoy all of this with you. What a thriving and healthy ecosystem you have there. These wonderfully edited and narrated videos are just a joy to watch!
Hey paisano! How many of us have had a cleared area that was once treed and would never think to plant a feeding area for the wildlife? What a fantastic idea! You do come up with the best uses of your beautiful property without making it look man made! 😊
I'm so happy to hear about the survival rate of the fox kits this year! That's always wonderful to hear! Your close encounter with the bull moose was really fun to see as well! I'm glad you didn't encounter the mother and the yearling in person, of course. And! The lynx!!! That was wonderful! This was a great big fauna update! Looking forward to the winter, and for you to be able to get inside that hut and get some direct footage! I hope you have a good Fall and Winter seasons!
It always makes my day and warms my heart when I see you have posted a new video. You are living the dream Stefano and I am so happy that you share it with us. Congrats on the Lynx. It's just gorgeous!
Your videos are the best. You put so much time into them. You have inspired me to do great things with nature. I now hand feed my own backyard birds after watching one of your videos. Keep posting great content! If you could post a video about the Black Capped Chickadees they are my favorite.
Thanks so much for the kind words. The chickadees stopped coming during late spring/summer while they nested. But now they're back again, and they've started bringing their young to feed too. I'll probably have them in one of the next videos.
So happy to see a new Stefano video in my feed 😊 You always seem to talk about exactly what I am curious to know about your projects. Looking forward to seeing an update on your cascading water feature for the birds.
Good to see those foxes grew up. Congratulations having a doggo and catto together. Hope(not really) it won't be too chaotic 😂. Also it is good to see animals after various birds. Very satisfying and will wait for more.
Thanx for the update. I love all you're doing for the animals on your property. I too would have been excited to see a lynx. Hope to see more of the activity on your land,
Every update on your gorgeous property (and all the hard work you’ve put into it) is an absolute treat to see! Will you be planting any native northeastern grassland forbs/grasses in the open food forest? Stuff like Symphyotrichum, Goldenrods, bluestem grasses, Canadian bluejoint grass, Partridge Pea, Rudbeckia or Echinacea species, Dalea, Wild Bergamot, etc.
Glad you enjoyed! And yes I will! Not all of those species, but a good chunk of them. For grasses I have a ton of switchgrass and little bluestem. Forb-wise I have 40-50 native species that I'll blend together and spread in parts of that area.
I admit, I envy your resources but above that, I admire yor committment to the wildlife and the environment. If onky more people with resources do the same, this planet can be a better place for all beings. Much respect to your stewardship, Stefano
Almost like you have your own special Yellowstone in your backyard (minus the out of control tourists of course). Thank you for all your hard work and compassion! It is inspirational and lovely. Your backyard is a safe sanctuary (the Ritz-Carlton of sanctuaries). All the various places and goodies you have for all kinds of beloved creatures makes my heart melt! God bless you!
Such joy from this video! ❤ It's a real balm for the soul! Grateful for all your dedication and passion and love for all of nature, and you sharing that journey with us. ❤
I really do so enjoy your videos! It's going to be so fun to see if you capture the lynx again. The coolest thing about your form of "trapping" is that is all just done with a camera and no harm or disturbance comes to the wildlife. So awesome!
I believe you are correct. They are easily baited in Alaska so you might try that now that you know the trail they will use. At least I assume they use the same trails in winter as they would in summer. Worth a shot for sure.
Finally, some more peace of mind. Life has changed a lot for me recently. Thank you again for these videos and the calmness they bring. I really appreciate them.
Thank you for keeping us in the loop on the adventures on your property. For some of us we live vicariously through your adventures, you do all the hard work, and we get some minutes of entertainment. It is appreciated and you do such a good job of it. Thank you once again.
Amazing progress! Now you should think about putting in a guest cabin (Airbnb) so people like me can come to Canada to enjoy your wildlife and photo blinds and marvel at all of your hard work 😊
Congratulations on your first lynx! Your channel only gets better and better and it's always a pleasure when I get a notification for new content. RUclips is full of toxic content but channels like yours make it worthwhile. Thank you for being so wholesome and wonderful!
So good to see your video - thanks for the updates! What a beautiful property you have, especially as it becomes more and more of a wildlife sanctuary. Looking forward to the next one!
So happy for you to have the lynx on your property and hope to see some real progress on that clearing that your planting in. And I am hoping to do something similar since I live in the midwest I want to plant native prarie plant all along my grandpas property and create a Turkey, Deer, and Quail and just all around animal sancutary.
Thanks! And that sounds like a great plan. Creating good deer habitat creates a trickle down effect that benefits many smaller animals. Good luck with your space!
What a wonderful video. It was very enjoyable to watch and I can't wait to see how this will all progress. It's actually a really nice challenge, to see how many species you can get fed and cared for over there! And so much beautiful animals.
Love to see the progression of the foxes! Can't wait to see more videos about how you transform the property and more cinematic shots of the changing seasons!
I have it once and I'll say it again This is a great channel, not only because of this channel's content but also the peace and calm feeling I felt while watching this Keep up the good work 👍🏼 I really love it 😁😁😁
Holy cow, what a great species! Knew it was a lynx immediately from your excitement and those long legs... so cool! A species I've never seen in the wild, on my bucket list for sure! I'm so grateful for people like you with the effort you put into not only your wildlife projects, but the videos that bring them to people far and wide. We need more people like you in the world. 😊
This is so beautiful! I would do the same if I was able to film a Lynx on my property. So excited how much more wildlife you'll bring to that area over the years. 💙

it is so funny to have the blur at the start of the video and a tease of "and i saw a rare thing i've been waiting for!" But there are no silhouettes in canada more distinctive than the lynx so it's just. obviously a lynx. with its silly tall back legs. i love these videos, they're so peaceful and calming, and in a time when i feel a lot of stress around nature and the climate, it's so reassuring to see nature being nature, right in someone's backyard. thanks!
Always love watching your videos! Being able to do something like this for myself someday would be a dream. These videos always bring a bit of life into an otherwise sterile college dorm. Thank you!

Thanks for the update Stefano! Great to see the Lynx-I bet you were stoked when you viewed that bit of video!! Your fox survival rate is likely due to lack of serious competition for food... Coyotes are usually a big problem so whilst you have them, you likely don't have many who range onto your property.... their range is much larger than the red fox.
Thanks for watching! That's definitely a possibility! I think it also benefits them that the foxes stayed closer to the front of our property where the house is. From what I've seen on the cameras, the coyotes don't like coming that close to our house
Oh how I just love all of this. YOU are definitely one of God's Angels placed strategically in your spot....to make life so good for your critters. You are just amazing...thank you for this share!!
With all the craziness in the world, this is such a confirmation of love, hope, compassion for animals and nature. Your beautiful heart soothes my soul.

Can I ask where in North American your property is roughly located if you haven’t said already? There’s an amazing mix of animals and plants
I'm located in Quebec, Canada 🙂

that Bobcat looked like it was a young one... prolly searching for a territory of its own..
they are absolutely beautiful creatures in the middle of winter..
their fur is soooooo full they look fatter than they actually are..
there is a dominant female that has been around the beginning of my trap line an ive seen her with pups at different stages an far as i can tell shes had 3 litters so far..
i set up the trailcam at the beginning of my trapline jus to ensure that there was no humans robbing my traps..
doesnt bother me if another animal feeds off my trap cause they never stay, they are usually migrating an jus find my trap by luck...

You should plant some pawpaw fruits. Native to most of eastern US and ABSOLUTELY GREAT for the wildlife
Also native to Canada
I’ve heard good things about those trees, but unfortunately they’re not native to our area. Also it’s outside our zone, so likely wouldn’t survive our winters
Oh, well I keep my eyes out for other native trees! This time native to your area!

Thanks for watching! That's definitely a possibility! I think it also benefits them that the foxes stayed closer to the front of our property where the house is. From what I've seen on the cameras, the coyotes don't like coming that close to our house
I live for your updates!!! Congrats on the holy grail ❤
Thank you!!
Thanks man. I'm glad to see you have the cat around, with the fox and coyotes. Predators are a huge part of a healthy ecosystem. Good job folks.
I just love your videos, thank you so much! They are such comfort right now.
Glad you enjoy them!
