Just in case I caused any confusion, 100% completion (moving the progress bar Ubisoft created for Valhalla) is only dictated by completing main/side story quests, discovering unexplored regions, and completing every mystery/wealth/artifact location. Everything else I did or that you will do is all extra and won't move the progress bar. Also, almost every person I talked to has been glitched at 92-95% completion. Hope this helps! :)
The reason nobody has the 100% on ubisofts progress tracker is because the Ragnar mission/quest that becomes available after defeating every drengr, that mission is not appearing for anyone so everyone gets stuck at 94.49% as that's the final mission nobody can do

@@LowlyEidolon its a stab at ubi, Operation Health was their first attempt to fix Rainbow six siege, but ultimately made the bugs worse. Kinda one of those events that show incompetence of a company as a whole. Lol its just funny that a whole quest is missing

Big tip you can use explosive arrows to open the blocked entrances instead of oil jars. Saves you ALOT of time

@@Arno_1664 I have fully completed the game about a couple of weeks ago and it is amazing. Keep playing. As soon as you finish killing the order and finishing the main story line, there are so many rare items and weapons you can get and it is so worth it

The fact this was done a year ago and I'm *JUST* getting round to playing it (50 hours in) amazes me as I'm struggling 🤣 On the hardest difficulty too you a OG bro fair play.
Fr I'm 30 hours in and still don't know if I'm doing the main story quests. This game is so confusing
I just beat the main story, 98 hours it took me on hardest diff. still have both expansions and the asgard and joten and vineland to do lol, haven't collected all gear or cleared all locations, have like 4 fully completed.
I felt like hardes diff is no that hard, it is just kind of boring because you do less damage. But you can use your bow a lot to hit weak points on enemies and kill them in one show. All you need to do is to be mindfull alebo high lvl areas because you get killed in one shot.

really cause I lost all mine, I just 100%'d valhalla last week, feeling lost, I just finished 100%ing ac 1 today, heading into 2 tonight, and ive 100% all 3 dark souls games, something about a nagging to 100% good games is a curse,.
I've gotten all gold medals in license tests (thus completing it 100%) in GT (Gran Turismo) GT2, GT3 and 99.9% in GT4 (cause of bad luck/RNG on elusive trophy car for 24hr LeMans)
I finally completed the main original game to the point where there's absolutely nothing left to do except down load a dlc
Sheesh i 100% ac 3 in 2013 and still have the save on my 360 ❤

Incendiary powder trap is underrated because you can get through the rock barrier walls that block rooms, Which is a HUGE time saver in game, And once you get to where your adrenaline goes up passively, you literally always can use it. Even if you are out of arrows. :)
This game is a monster. Got the plat last year finally after almost 150 hours. Still got both dlcs to do as well

I tried doing all the chest at the beginning but it took too long so I just started doing the main wealth, artifacts, and mysteries. I’m at 114 hours just starting the story.
I do the story first that way I don't get bored before I finish

It's the choices that make this great. Lot of satisfaction in not using the most powerful weapons but doing max damage with light kit. Sir Ranulph Fiennes pointed out years ago that the best technique with explosives was to do the maximum damage with the minimum amount of gear. I have all day to play but no hurry to finish.

Best ranged skill is the multishot thing with the bow when you attack zealots just hit em in the back with fully charged shot and again after they fall off their horse, that takes out almost half of their health bar, also good on alpha animals
That’s a good setup if you’re mostly a combat player. I love stealth so I’m rocking a pair of OP daggers right now. I mostly stealth kill NPCs and the daggers help me quickly clear whatever is left if I get caught. Also harpoon impalement helps one shot most enemies while getting ready for your next attack.

I got this game only a couple of weeks ago as I wanted to wait until I had a PS5. I love it! im 38 hours in already and have completed 60% of the story. The fishing with a spear tip is great!

@@WahSaDude it was boring imo, depends on how much of a completionist you are. If you’re going for 100% everything, then you’ll also have to put yourself through the mastery challenges which are awful to go through

Currently on a 100% run myself. Level 260+, half legendary animals killed, completed all the Valka potion maps, got a full legendary armor set from the other dude who let's you dream and makes items from it. Running a 2h dual wield build, some legendary short sword in the main hand and 2h greatsword in the other. Poison, crit runes with a chance to release a poinson cloud on heavy attacks, this build just plows through everything. Yesterday, defeated that huge frost bear or whatever in one of the Valka's dreams, even though it was 200 levels above me or so.

Impressive, from 3 years ago. I finished the game, but still have things I could do, but not really interested in doing some of the mysteries etc. Some activities are kind of stupid. After the credits that said, Thanks for playing AC Valhalla, I was kind of hoping that the game would follow Eivor on his solo journey, but we're not given that opportunity. I'm used to playing Destiny 2, which I've been playing since 2014, and it's still evolving.
Respect on the grind. I like to collect everything too. But even I have my "oh no" ie: those damn feathers in Ezio lol
Still trying to 100 percent odyssey first before I touch Valhalla and I'm enjoying it so far I love the huge map personally but I look forward to a change in environment when I finish one

@@ishaanguha7188 but it’s still easy just more tedious. Even on Drengr the window for parrying and dodging is even wider than in Ghost of Tsushima. Ubisoft literally doesn’t know how to make difficult games just grindy ones
@@a.g.m8790 tbf Tsushimas difficulty is completely artificial.
Bosses are fought entirely with your sword forcing a samurai duel in a game about the first ninja
And literally every ghost weapon is hyper broken and the only balancing measure for that is that it's practically impossible to restock in the field.
So any fight that's difficult is literally only difficult because you don't have your equipment available to you.
The Iki DLC added charms that allow you to replenish your gear mid fight and that actually encourages you to use your gear because it won't run out in 5 seconds, but 1, That should just be how the game about the first ninja using ninja tactics works to begin with, not a year and a half after it releases and 2, every fight in the game is a cake walk as soon as you equip those charms because that equipment is broken entirely.
3 to 5 Kunai staggering everyone in front of you, a sticky bomb launching 8 dudes to the floor around you, a smoke bomb that lets you rapidly assassinate like 6 guys in two chains, (8 if you run the new charm), a flaming sword that can ignite everyone around you with a single heavy attack thus stunning them, a grenade that outright kills groups etc etc
Tsushima isn't skill based hard, it's "We're giving you all these Novel ninja resources that are really cool but super OP but also you'll never actually use them because you don't have any unless you go to a shop every five minutes" hard.
Limited resources can be a tool for increasing difficulty but it's completely artificial when the rest of your game really doesn't have any real skill to it.
You parry and you attack with heavy attacks and aside from changing stance or pressing dodge for very particular attacks, the base game doesn't really offer anything more than that.
I think the combat in valhalla may honestly be a bit better if only because it allows you to use all of your skills basically whenever you want.
But they both have the problem of not actually being that difficult.
ACs wind up animations take fucking donkeys to actually happen and some of the animations in Got actually happen unrealistically fast but neither of them are complicated systems and every situation in both games is solved faster if you use abilities, Valhalla just actually lets you use your damn abilities and even if they both have abilities that make fights cakewalks instead of artificially difficult, atleast valhallas abilities look cool. Tsushimas get kinda stale just because there's so few of them and their kill animations.
So in combat, I give valhalla the point. In terms of skill, they're both pretty meh
Open world games really struggle with good combat in general. They're always either artificially difficult or brutally easy and the only distinguishing difference is whether they have cool animations to make the boring easy fights fun or the artificially difficult ones satisfying enough to put up with them.

I love the mentors set mixed with the thegns armor when you parry you get increased critical chance and mixed with the mentors set is very powerful.

Thank you and thank you for subscribing! From what I have found the 100% completion checklist may be slightly different for the PC from the console. I played on PC so I will give you that info. To get 100% completion finish all main and side quests and finish every mystery, artifact, and wealth objectives. I believe all of the extra items I worked on didn't help in moving the completion bar, only what I listed previously actually moved it. Also, everyone I have talked to including myself has gotten stuck at around 94-95% completion. Guessing this is a bug, or there is extra DLC coming that will finish the remaining 5%. Hope this helps!

@@darricnaharioo6447 Yes, it is. You just have to do a lot of extra farming. I spent probably an extra 20 hours just farming crafting materials and silver.

I believe this to be a bug, I am currently stuck at 94% as are many other people. Some believe that a future DLC mission will allow everyone to get the remaining percentage. You are likely 100% done with the game

I just completed 100%. Except the fishing stuff...
I have one Mystery glitched. The talk to the pig one. Everything else is done. Why can't the uncompleted mysteries reset weekly. It's not like any of them are a ton of work to do.
Gotta talk to the guy that owns the pig....then drink the brew again and talk to the pig a second time and then you'll get the mystery completed after that.

So, my gear is a lot like it's except i use a combo of 3 prices if thegn armor and 2 pieces of mentor armor. Idk if it's good or not. But I like it

Really great video, I enjoyed watching it entirely, however I have finished everything you have mentioned, except 2 achievments, the fishing one and one where you have to avenge the deaths of 10 players. The Problem is I am stuck at 92%, I was at 92 even before getting all the mysteries and whealth in Jotunheim and after finishing that I am still stuck at 92%. Is there maybe something I am missing?

Thank you! And no I don’t believe you are missing anything. This happened to me as well. I also have searched online and this is either a common bug, or the devs may be adding some content in the future which the remaining 6-8% is attached to.
@@Unrated7 the common finishing percentage is 94.49% with one missing region and person, I believe the person is Ragnar lothbrok, and the percentage for the mission being the bugged Ragnar death scene mission

I just finished the last one yesterday. I have been gaming since the 90s and gotta say. The Cairn stacking is the ONLY thing that has ever made me want to throw my controller at a wall.
45-60m on the last cairn.
Miserable and terribly designed mechanic. They should flat out remove these from the game. Terrible. I even preferred chasing the danged tattoos despite the terrible free running mechanic in this game lol
Great game (140h sunk into it). But definitely some elements were not ironed out.
I can feel your pain! There was one cairn stacking in particular that took me forever to complete! I remember feeling that same rage. But, yes this game is great!

It took me 80-100 hours to complete the story. Then another 80 hours to 100% complete. So you are doing better than me in time haha
It took me 68 hours to complete main story and I wasn’t playing for 5-6 hours of those hours because I had to do other things

I mix everything up and do a bunch of things all together and got about 170-180 for a clear map and quest lines the base game gets lost in the mix for me
This is hands down the best AC to 100%

I finished all quests and in the menu by Kodex i have 71/72 Person 22/23 Places and 9/10 Groups where i can finde the rest?
I have the same problem, after searching online it looks like it may be additional content we receive later in a DLC from Ubisoft. I am not sure why they would include it in the Codex if it can’t be accessed yet though. Hope this helps!

I found a spot that always spawns a meteorite while u go over with your bird it lands on same spot just go back to character take from meteorite and move back and repeat did it 20 times each time got highest amount items

I would say exploring the whole map and completing every mystery, artifact, and wealth location. Also, from what I have found it looks like the only way to get the Isu Bow right now is through an exploit, but I may go check it out still to try find out how to get it. Also, it is very interesting how many more secrets there are! Looks like there is an axe you can get from Jotunheim, and Ragnar’s dagger from another location. But they appear to be bugged. We shall see! :)
@@Unrated7 Yeah, exploring everything sounds really hard. You can actually get the isu bow without an exploit (although I got it the bad way), I think it has something to do with hitting the rock thing that holds it with excalibur just as the sun sets. There are plenty of good tutorials here on yt. And it’s quite good for a hunter bow as well.

A great way too herd the fish to shallow areas is by firing arrows opposite of where you want them too go.
I played this one at platinum in january 2021 and did a back to back platinum of odyssey and immortals fenyx rising. Took a break for 6 months hahah. Great advices in this vid.
