I e used a serger years ago when my kids were young. I made all their shirts, pajamas, robes and even ventured into making jeans. Needless to say, I wore it out. I purchased a new one several years ago and haven’t used it very much at all. I’m expecting two new great grandchildren at the end of the year. I’m going to make receiving blankets and burp cloths. Thank you for I inspiring me to get it out and use it again. Love all your tutorials. They are wonderful and so clearly shown and explained. Thank you for being the lovely lady that you are

I like all your videos but this one was extra special. I have had a serger just sitting there for years. You have inspired me to try a few things. You make it look so easy. Thank you. The curves are the hardest though and that’s where I tend to give up.

I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one who has had a serger for years and haven’t used it. I did go to use it once, but the thread got messed up and now it needs to be retreaded. 🥴

    I really loved this tutorial.
I have a surger and it has been sitting in the closet for almost 14 years. Now you’re giving me a major incentive to pull it out. I guess the only real hesitation is threading the darn thing. But at least the directions are on the machine and if I follow the color codes I think I’ll be OK. Thank you again so much. watching you is like a breath of fresh air. Thank you so much for your time and effort.😊

Hi Debbie. If it has been sitting unused for 14 years it may not work. Be ready to turn it in for a self thread serger - Baby Lock. It is great👍

Thank you very much for your inspiring tutorials. I began sewing last year and thought I needed a serger when I was still learning to use my sewing machine. Your videos give me confidence to try new things and I admire how you don't let the issue with your hand hold you back.

It would be helpful to go through the setup of the machine for these projects. It looked like you were using both needles, so a 4 stitch overlock setup? On that headband, you could serge a long thread tail and lay it inside the fold for easy turning. These are great serger projects. Thanks!

Hi Sherrill. Thank you so much. Can teach us how to do serge on pants or skirt without cutting the material eg like when we do hemming we use hand stich or sew it by folding the material.
