Love this! Will these techniques work on all sergers?

Ladies, i have 2 overlockers only because the second one was a bit easier to work but other than doing a normal overlocked seam, this is all i have ever done with mine. The fanciest part of my overlocks is that they can be used on stretchy fabric, sp can i still do these fancy things that your all singing and dancing air threaders overlockers? Many thanks, Norah, Glenochil, Scotland

The fancy air threaders are just that, an easier way to thread. My overlocker does all of these things...it is a Bernette 334ds (from the 90's, made by Juki). Features are generally for convenience, and fewer features does not mean less functionality. Special feet help with more specialized techniques.

How can one obtain the booklet you refer to throughout the "Sewing with Nancy" training? These are wonderful! I've had my imagine for 8 years, and have never done anything more complicated than rolled hem, and have never attempted using the specialty accessories I have. Excited to try new things now!! Thank you
