Thank you for what you gave to us in your sewing videos and in your catalogs and online store. Thank you, Nancy. You were greatly loved and you are greatly missed. RIP, Nancy!
So glad for you, you deserve the most wonderful sewing room ever and watching your show I knew your room would be neat as a pin! Such a beautiful, smart lady! My Mother, (who got polio in 1954 and wore a leg brace all her life, never slowed her down a bit); sewed all our, (seven kids) clothes and had a small business in a 8 by eight office. She had a black metal Singer on a little typing table! All four of us girls learned to sew there and her memorable saying was: 'Rip it out and try again'! She even did whole wedding party's and altered Dad's coats to fit the boys! We also had a wonderful 4-H leader and my proudest moment was when I got to model my red wool, button down, pleated, belted dress on TV's 'Make it With Wool Contest' with Eve Rubenstein in Ft. Dodge IA! Don't even have a picture? Thanks for an informative, fun show, I watch every Saturday afternoon on IPTV in Des Moines, don't sew now, my senior apartment is so small ! But I keep dreaming........... Never stop creating! Kathy McKim
Nancy - You are what makes sewing and quilting exciting. I am a mere beginner but I find your videos not only helpful but also inspiring. I have learned so much. Each of your videos pack in so much useful information on techniques and notions. For me you are the tops and I love your sewing room it is beautiful. Thanks for sharing lots of useful ideas on layout. I wish I had just a fraction of your knowledge and expertise, you have helped me so much.
Nsncy Zeiman, sn inspiration to many sewers! You will be missed abd I offer sincere condolences to the Zeiman fsmily. I am grateful I had the opportunity to meet Nancy at one of the sewing expo's in Novi MI.
our master sewers always have something valid to say, Im excited about sewing and wish for all that machinery you have. maybe Ill get the ellismo gold before too long if God is willing, I love your expertise. Look forward to seen you on t.v.
Very interesting video. Cost for this room about $14,000-20,000. Obviously for people with money. The roll about plus 4 work area is about $6-8,000; embroidery center about $2,500+; quilting areas $3,000+; sew comfort chairs $300 per chair; and this does not include the treasure chest plus 4; storage chest plus 4; electric glide grip for serger with remote control or the computer center. Just keep adding up those dollars ladies. I will have to settle for the dining room table. So sad.....
What about the all important lighting? I am very conflicted on what to purchase and install. I want to save as much money as possible to support my sewing habit.
Found this video when looking for ideas to organise my sewing room - strangely unnatural. Am now off back to find more colourful chaotic sewing rooms - just like mine!!
As beautiful as the wooden sewing room furniture is, I wouldn't want wood furniture for sewing. It can get nicked and scratched very easily with sharp objects such as scissors, pins, xacto knives and etc., even if one has mats. The little bins should be labeled, as they would be frustrating to constantly pull out to view the contents in them. The remote sewing table is nice but what if the electrical system goes out on it? Would it still go up and down manually? Maybe, hydraulic would be better?
Nancy has not had a stroke. Bell's Palsy. Sometimes it's tempting to find humor in someone else's misfortune. It's usually only after suffering a great deal of misfortune that humans begin to grasp how unreasonable and irrational it is to give in to that temptation.
ignorant much? she was born with bells palsy. and despite her disability she's become a very successful productive individual. instead of giving up on life and wallowing in sadness, she chose to invest time and energy in to doing something she loves. she works hard and deserves everything she has. jelous much?

My cutting station is a sheet of varnished particle board sitting on top of two big dog kennels. LOL

Don't worry, it's just laminated fiberboard with simulated woodgrain.
Too clean. You aren't sewing in that room.
that's obvious. it's clearly an ad for koala and she did say it's her 'dream' sewing room
😂 me and my grandpa make fun of u because u had a stroke and we say "thowing with nanthy" (lisp) but we still watch u
Rude much ? Sometimes keeping your mouth shut is the best thing you can do,,

Kylee Armenta what a rude comment, but will come back to you and to your grandpa.

Kylee Armenta Shame on you, it was Bell's Palsy, permanent nerve damage, she died of cancer today.
