Another great video man! Love the shirt too (and the character!) _Venom_ has always been the standby for when you don't have $3 to drop on a can, but man do you get what you pay for. They're insanely sweet, almost thick, and colored like the toxic nuclear sludge they probably are. My personal favorite is the yellow _Killer Taipan_ Mango too. It's more "tropical" imo though. Good job, keep it up!

I remember going through my final year of high school (2019) I was basically living off of Red bull / venom energy drinks so I can stay up late to finish school work and having enough energy to tolerate a school day.
Hey man, great job on detailing the history on the drinks, and the retro images, it definitely brings back nostalgia. I remember getting the Venom energy drinks in the Bottle shape aluminum can in 2009 - in the black mamba and killer taipan flavors. There was another energy drink that came out back in 2009 called Slap energy, but I havent seen that in forever.
I've been a Venom fan since 2017 when I tried their Watermelon Lime Lo-Cal Flavor! Tastes like I'm drinking a stick of Starburst but without the sugar crash after! 99 cents? You absolutely cannot beat it! Venom for Life!

@@CaffeineMan1 When it comes to tastes with the energy drinks we have a difference in our preferences. You enjoy the more fruity, berry, mango with low carination type drinks. I prefer citrus-based drinks. I love Squirt/Fresca/7Up/Sprite type drinks so I look for similar flavored energy drinks. Carbonation is part of my enjoyment too. I enjoy your reviews and take on the flavor profiles. Wish you continued success and many years of video production. Cheers !!!

Venom is easily my new favorite energy drink brand ever as of recently along with Monster. Almost all the flavors are better then the last one for me but my favorites so far are The Original, The Mango and The Fruit Punch. But all of their other flavors are still just incredible.
Series idea: test and rank each flavor from different energy drinks! Like for example, blueberry flavors like bang, redbull, etc. Keep up the good work man

It usually hits me by the third drink. I do a lot of editing and the video usually takes almost an hour to make... and the caffeine kicks in around the third...and I hardly ever just review ONE drink! 😂
YESSSSSS! I was hoping you'd do venom soon. Yea, they arent healthy, buuuut I'm poor, so sometimes I am buying these with quarters to get my fix. My favorite is the watermelon lime (which unfortunately I see you didnt try, I'd love to know your opinion on it if you get a chance to try it) 0 cal one BY FAR. There are other poor man's energy drinks that are standard flavors, but pretty good, they are called WIRED. Idk if you've had them. But they are decent, they have a triple caffiene 334 mg drink (with a 0 cal 0 sugar version), a b12 rush one, a 3000mg taurine one, a berry rush (high b12), a passionfruit rush (b6 and b12), and a strawberry lemonade. I dont like the b12 rush one but all the others are great. Dollar store was a decent place to get them, grocery outlet, winco, etc. Thanks again for a great video Caffeine Man.

Really? No wonder I feel funny after drinking that one..... 😦 thanks for letting me know I was getting it once and awhile because it's lower in caffiene than most, 94mg per can. They get around it by saying its 2 servings... I think. But yeah... again, thanks, taking it off my list, I was unaware until now. Im sure it was fine when I was bodybuilding as my body could process the extra minerals, but since my injury years back and lack of working out, that's changed. Off the list!

Watermelon-Lime Venom is the best one of the eight options at only 10 calories per can. If I had to rate Venom's eight flavors, they would rank as such: 1 - Watermelon-Lime, 2 - Killer Taipan (Mango), 3 - Black Mamba, 4 - Black Cherry-Kiwi, 5 - Strawberry-Apple, 6 - Mojave Rattler (low-calorie Black Mamba), 7 - Death Adder (Fruit Punch), 8 - Citrus

I work with Keurig Dr Pepper Corp and we make this. My favorite is Taipan and Black Cherry. Soon we will have Adrenaline Shock energy drink coming out within the next couple months. ;)

It’s 99 cents at most stores across the nation but some Stores that would raise the prices on every single item on their shelves due to inflation would take sand paper and sand off the portion of the can that says 99 cents on it to discourage people from thinking it’s 99 cents when the store owner decided to raise the price on it
They don't even do that at the Target near me. They just say $1.35 and I say, "No, its 99 cents. It says it on the can." "No, thats their price. Our price is 1.35." Craziness.

To me The Original Venom tastes like a cherry and caramel ice cream cone. I try to recently and it was delicious. To me it was like a desert drink. Can't wait to try the other 7 flavors.

Man I use to drink these like crazy when they first came out. Haven’t had one in years and only see them at random backwoods gas stations every once in awhile.
They can be hit or miss when looking for them. They arent usually in the big convenience stores due to pricing (they cant mark them up), but they are still around to make a difference in the energy drink market. Thanks for watching!

Strawberry apple sugar free is my hands down favorite energy drink right now. I would pay 3 times what it cost and still be happy! Price is just a bonus.. when you can buy a whole case for under $13 your winning! Thanks! Great review.

I always get these at Walmart. Or used to... Strawberry Apple was the one I always got. It’s low calorie but it’s bomb. Really good. All the other regular ones are tooooo damn sweet. But that’s good information on the erythritol and the origin of this drink and Snapple. Oh and I just seen those small RedBull cans at Walgreens I took a pic but forgot to send it to ya. I tried crisp pear last week. I wanna try that peach nectar one.

The Venom Strawberry Apple is my favorite, the Citrus and Watermelon not as much. I get them for 80¢ at my local grocery. Monster Ultra Red my next choice.
For 99¢ they’re pretty good. A lot better than most energy drinks for that price. Although my 7-11 has Amp, Rockstar, NOS, and full throttle 2/$3 so I pay the extra 50¢ for those
I remember trying Black Mamba and Death Adder years ago, but they seemed to disappear what with the rise of Red Bull and Monster. Definitely sweet as h*ll and not nearly enough bang for your buck (pun intended) for me to worry about looking all over the place for them at only 160mg of caffeine. Loved the addition of the plastic cup during the taste test...and why not "over pour"??? Like any of us care that you enjoy what you do...LOL!!! More power to ya, CaffeineMan, drink up!!! Did you ever hear back from Venom on bringing back that bite flavour? Btw I don't know if you've ever noticed that Black Mamba Venom and Monster Assault taste almost the same to me....(I think monster tried to jack Venom's thunder) Also I tried the Venom citrus one day...I regret my purchase entirely. It's disgusting with a horrible aftertaste and a little bit of citrus. You aren't missing out on much tbh.
No, I never really contacted them or anything like that. Far too busy. I heard they have some new flavors in the works though. Never tried the Monster Assault, as my Monster tastings have been limited. 😂 Sorry to hear about the Citrus. Ive been keepping and eye out for the watermelon, as Ive heard good things about it. Overall, most energy drinks tend to be healthy, with only a few that arent and those are easy to SP-monster-OT.

CaffeineMan I’m not sure if it’s the same brand as I’m thinking. The one I saw had a more modern look to it, came in a much larger can and had a green,blue, red flavors
I also like the idea of the Monster punch video! Pipeline punch, Assault, Pacific punch, Ballers Blend,....I think that covers it... lol 😂 PS...... Pacific punch tastes like Hawaiian Punch...I think!
Sad news is that stores where I live that raised the prices on everything by 1 dollar due to inflation decided to take the venom energy drink off of their shelves and decided to stop selling it because they wanted to avoid a possible class action lawsuit by the manufacturer and it’s pretty hard to get it where I live and the only store that it can be purchased at where I live is this convenience store called three D’s variety store and they are the only ones that carry it where I live so therefore it’s very hard to find where I live sadly enough and this is a really good energy drink because it’s cheap.
Sorry to hear that. It has been hit or miss what stores carry it near me and since I don't buy it much anymore due to the sugar (the mango being my favorite), I haven't really paid attention to if its been in stores. Thanks! Appreciate it. ALWAYS gotta taste them cold! They're best that way. Ive had plenty of warm energy drinks and some of them are ok, but for best flavor they have to be cold. A lot of the time when I have Bang, the first few mouthfuls will be awesome because its super cold...but then I drink it over the course of an hour and those last few sips arent as amazing.

Venom reminds me of monster so much. I never look at the actual flavor, just the name. I know pretty stupid, but my eyes just gravitate to the "Black Momba, or Death Adder". This is not a complaint I just think it's funny. I look at it the same way I look at monster "Hmmmm, a monster white ultra zero, I wonder what this taste like?" -tastes white "Hmmmm a monster red ultra zero, I wonder what it tastes like?" -tastes red "Hmmmm a vendom death adder, I wonder what it tastes like?" -tastes death adder

I know that internationally, different countries have different laws on how much caffeine is allowed in their drinks. Im wondering if thats why they decided to try them out in the States, since they were already making them for their international customers.

Thanks! Ive had a couple of suggestions for that. The only downside to it is that I don't feel each drink would get its fair share. For example, Venom has 6 flavors, Rip It has around 20 flavors, etc..So, how could I cover all those in one video? That being said, Im playing around with the idea of a Top 5 Cheap Energy Drink video, where Im not reviewing all the drinks specifically of that company, but going over the top 5 cheapest by price (and personal opinion for flavor). Ive heard a lot of good things about them. Fruit Punch isnt on the top of my list for drinks...and Monster is definitely not on the top of my list😂 But, Im hoping the fruit punch ones will be better than most of their other drinks. Overall, not a huge fan of Monster so hoping the fruit punch can turn me around.

I wanted to do a channel focused on caffeine and caffeine related topics, such as caffeine safety, caffeine awareness, energy drinks, coffee, tea, "all things caffeine related", caffeinated chocolate and other foods. It has slowly morphed into an energy drink channel lately and I don't want it to become a supplement channel. It's too far away from what I know. I know caffeine, thus my title, LOL!
Everyone is a little bit different with how their bodies react to different ingredients, but sugar is a common ingredient that can get you hyped up. It usually the reason why parents try to keep their kids away from candy. The sugar rush.
Yo im the same way most energy drinks don't do anything at all for me....redbull are the only ones that do a little something for me ...but the venom energy drinks do the job 100% for some reason .....i was shocked too when i 1st tried i was confused of why all those energy drinks are so expensive and barelt do anything for me but i buy the cheapest energy drink "$0.99 cents" and it's the best.....but ya know i figured some ppl's bodies are just different ....im starting to think all the Other energy drinks have something in it that my body is immune too so they just don't work on me....and venom must have something in it that surpasses my immunity...
@@steezzyv2470 I came to this video just to see if anyone has the same thing happening , I’ve drank so many monsters ( I had a whole collection not even lying) and it seems like you just buy monster’s just for the flavor . With venoms I was able to stay up a whole day ( I get tired fast) and with monsters I’ll drink 2 and fall asleep within 3 hours
man, i used to like this drink called victory, it was ¢99, but it didn't taste that good and they didn't even list the caffeine content on it, but still just because of that price i would buy it all the time. i think they've went out of business or something, and with how high energy drink prices are getting in my area i've been needing something that's just ¢99, i wish my local store had venom cause it seems exactly like what i've wanted
That’s too bad. So many drinks come and go. You could always request the store to get it. If they are small enough they might consider it. If they sell sr pepper is should be easy enough to ad tothe order form
Im really trying to avoid as much extra sugar as possible.....and you're not making it very easy. Nice review......very informative. Ill be on the lookout to pick one of these up.
For only 99 cents, you could buy it, and give half to someone else. That way its only 26grams of sugar. Then don't eat or drink any other sugar and you're good for the day! And you get to cheat and have 8oz of pure deliciousness!!! (Ive been called the devils advocate in the past).
Have you've tried the new Orange Dreamsickle Regin or the Strawberry sublime or Mango Mantic those are really good also Regin has 3 new Inferno flavors you should try they burn calories and increase metabolism

Nos, Venom and Monster are my top 3 favorite energy drinks of all-time.
Venom is easily my new favorite energy drink brand ever as of recently along with Monster. Almost all the flavors are better then the last one for me but my favorites so far are The Original, The Mango and The Fruit Punch. But all of their other flavors are still just incredible.

It usually hits me by the third drink. I do a lot of editing and the video usually takes almost an hour to make... and the caffeine kicks in around the third...and I hardly ever just review ONE drink! 😂

YESSSSSS! I was hoping you'd do venom soon. Yea, they arent healthy, buuuut I'm poor, so sometimes I am buying these with quarters to get my fix. My favorite is the watermelon lime (which unfortunately I see you didnt try, I'd love to know your opinion on it if you get a chance to try it) 0 cal one BY FAR. There are other poor man's energy drinks that are standard flavors, but pretty good, they are called WIRED. Idk if you've had them. But they are decent, they have a triple caffiene 334 mg drink (with a 0 cal 0 sugar version), a b12 rush one, a 3000mg taurine one, a berry rush (high b12), a passionfruit rush (b6 and b12), and a strawberry lemonade. I dont like the b12 rush one but all the others are great. Dollar store was a decent place to get them, grocery outlet, winco, etc. Thanks again for a great video Caffeine Man.

Really? No wonder I feel funny after drinking that one..... 😦 thanks for letting me know I was getting it once and awhile because it's lower in caffiene than most, 94mg per can. They get around it by saying its 2 servings... I think. But yeah... again, thanks, taking it off my list, I was unaware until now. Im sure it was fine when I was bodybuilding as my body could process the extra minerals, but since my injury years back and lack of working out, that's changed. Off the list!

I know this video is 2 years old, but I became a fan of Venom Energy through it's owner Dr. Pepper.
They did do a really great job with the Venom line. I also used to like Dr Pepper...before I stopped drinking soda.

It’s 99 cents at most stores across the nation but some Stores that would raise the prices on every single item on their shelves due to inflation would take sand paper and sand off the portion of the can that says 99 cents on it to discourage people from thinking it’s 99 cents when the store owner decided to raise the price on it
They don't even do that at the Target near me. They just say $1.35 and I say, "No, its 99 cents. It says it on the can."

To me The Original Venom tastes like a cherry and caramel ice cream cone. I try to recently and it was delicious. To me it was like a desert drink. Can't wait to try the other 7 flavors.

Man I use to drink these like crazy when they first came out. Haven’t had one in years and only see them at random backwoods gas stations every once in awhile.
They can be hit or miss when looking for them. They arent usually in the big convenience stores due to pricing (they cant mark them up), but they are still around to make a difference in the energy drink market. Thanks for watching!

I always get these at Walmart. Or used to... Strawberry Apple was the one I always got. It’s low calorie but it’s bomb. Really good. All the other regular ones are tooooo damn sweet. But that’s good information on the erythritol and the origin of this drink and Snapple. Oh and I just seen those small RedBull cans at Walgreens I took a pic but forgot to send it to ya. I tried crisp pear last week. I wanna try that peach nectar one.

The Venom Strawberry Apple is my favorite, the Citrus and Watermelon not as much. I get them for 80¢ at my local grocery. Monster Ultra Red my next choice.

I remember trying Black Mamba and Death Adder years ago, but they seemed to disappear what with the rise of Red Bull and Monster. Definitely sweet as h*ll and not nearly enough bang for your buck (pun intended) for me to worry about looking all over the place for them at only 160mg of caffeine.

Also I tried the Venom citrus one day...I regret my purchase entirely. It's disgusting with a horrible aftertaste and a little bit of citrus. You aren't missing out on much tbh.

My favorite has to be the SF watermelon lime. Have only tried one of the sugared ones, iirc, but I tend to prefer "healthier" drinks.
Ive been keepping and eye out for the watermelon, as Ive heard good things about it. Overall, most energy drinks tend to be healthy, with only a few that arent and those are easy to SP-monster-OT.

Sad news is that stores where I live that raised the prices on everything by 1 dollar due to inflation decided to take the venom energy drink off of their shelves and decided to stop selling it because they wanted to avoid a possible class action lawsuit by the manufacturer and it’s pretty hard to get it where I live and the only store that it can be purchased at where I live is this convenience store called three D’s variety store and they are the only ones that carry it where I live so therefore it’s very hard to find where I live sadly enough and this is a really good energy drink because it’s cheap.
Sorry to hear that. It has been hit or miss what stores carry it near me and since I don't buy it much anymore due to the sugar (the mango being my favorite), I haven't really paid attention to if its been in stores. I will have to keep a closer eye out. Maybe they will take the 99 cents off the can... they probably should... Im guessing their price is going to go up to.

ALWAYS gotta taste them cold! They're best that way. Ive had plenty of warm energy drinks and some of them are ok, but for best flavor they have to be cold. A lot of the time when I have Bang, the first few mouthfuls will be awesome because its super cold...but then I drink it over the course of an hour and those last few sips arent as amazing.
Monster Pipeline Punch is my all time favorite energy drink. Would love a review of the punch flavors!

Venom reminds me of monster so much. I never look at the actual flavor, just the name. I know pretty stupid, but my eyes just gravitate to the "Black Momba, or Death Adder". This is not a complaint I just think it's funny. I look at it the same way I look at monster

Coke man here...... fun fact ....I used to sell Venom when I worked for a independent Dr. Pepper distributor! I too think Taipan is the best Venom energy drink. There are a couple more flavors that were not in the video. They have a Black Cherry(sugar) and a Watermelon (low calorie).

In Canada we've had 8 ounce cans for years, I mostly drink those over other cans
I know that internationally, different countries have different laws on how much caffeine is allowed in their drinks. Im wondering if thats why they decided to try them out in the States, since they were already making them for their international customers.

Thanks! Ive had a couple of suggestions for that. The only downside to it is that I don't feel each drink would get its fair share. For example, Venom has 6 flavors, Rip It has around 20 flavors, etc..So, how could I cover all those in one video? That being said, Im playing around with the idea of a Top 5 Cheap Energy Drink video, where Im not reviewing all the drinks specifically of that company, but going over the top 5 cheapest by price (and personal opinion for flavor). I wanted to do a channel focused on caffeine and caffeine related topics, such as caffeine safety, caffeine awareness, energy drinks, coffee, tea, "all things caffeine related", caffeinated chocolate and other foods. It has slowly morphed into an energy drink channel lately and I don't want it to become a supplement channel. It's too far away from what I know. I know caffeine, thus my title, LOL!

Why do I feel more of a effect from venom than bang? I’m used to caffeine in general, is it the sugar that makes the effect stronger?
Everyone is a little bit different with how their bodies react to different ingredients, but sugar is a common ingredient that can get you hyped up. It usually the reason why parents try to keep their kids away from candy. The sugar rush.

Yo im the same way most energy drinks don't do anything at all for me....redbull are the only ones that do a little something for me ...but the venom energy drinks do the job 100% for some reason .....i was shocked too when i 1st tried i was confused of why all those energy drinks are so expensive and barelt do anything for me but i buy the cheapest energy drink "$0.99 cents" and it's the best.....but ya know i figured some ppl's bodies are just different ....im starting to think all the Other energy drinks have something in it that my body is immune too so they just don't work on me....and venom must have something in it that surpasses my immunity...
@@steezzyv2470 I came to this video just to see if anyone has the same thing happening , I’ve drank so many monsters ( I had a whole collection not even lying) and it seems like you just buy monster’s just for the flavor . With venoms I was able to stay up a whole day ( I get tired fast) and with monsters I’ll drink 2 and fall asleep within 3 hours

Venom has been my favorite energy drink for a decade. Too bad you couldn't find the black cherry kiwi, that one is really tasty.

They still make it it just hard to find the 76 in my city they still have it but in low quantities

man, i used to like this drink called victory, it was ¢99, but it didn't taste that good and they didn't even list the caffeine content on it, but still just because of that price i would buy it all the time. i think they've went out of business or something, and with how high energy drink prices are getting in my area i've been needing something that's just ¢99, i wish my local store had venom cause it seems exactly like what i've wanted
That’s too bad. So many drinks come and go. You could always request the store to get it. If they are small enough they might consider it. If they sell sr pepper is should be easy enough to ad tothe order form

For only 99 cents, you could buy it, and give half to someone else. That way its only 26grams of sugar. Then don't eat or drink any other sugar and you're good for the day! And you get to cheat and have 8oz of pure deliciousness!!!

@@CaffeineMan1 yeah they do, but stores can really sell them for whatever they want I guess. I was pretty annoyed, but what can you do? I really wanted one of those Strawberry Apple ones and was willing to make the sacrifice.

I drank a Venom for the first time a couple months ago and it worked better then Monster, but there's to much sugar for me.
Its goooood stuff...but its got suuugggarrrrr... Lots of sugar, LOL!
