That very scene is the reason I absolutely love Linebeck's character. When I was younger, I found Linebeck to be a little annoying, cause he was greedy & cowardly, making me do all of the work & then acting like he contributed. Ciela often voiced the exact thoughts I had, which was clearly intentional. I'm so happy that his character growth in the 2nd half of the game was subtle, but still noticeable enough for 10 year old me to pick up on his shift in character. When he picked up that sword, he immediately became my favorite character.
Even I forget that it can be funny. Namely because I feel like some of its charm was lost in recent years for me. Then again it might just be a me thing.
I grew up in a family that didn’t play video games. I’m a girl so as a little kid, the only video games I knew were the ones typically marketed at girls, Barbie games and bad fashion games. Then in fourth grade a friend of mine told me she had found this neat game called “Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.” Neither of us knew it was a series or anything. This was the game that introduced me to the concept of games being used as a storytelling medium, and I’m forever grateful to it for that. The nostalgia this video brought me was wonderful, thank you for making it.
when Linebeck took up Link's sword against Belum with shaking knees. oof
courage isn't the absence of fear, but the ability to act inspite of it.

He showed more courage then link in breath of the wild when the guardians shot him multiple times
Linebeck and Groose are the two best characters in the series.
Pure facts
We definitely have a type.😂but at least it’s a good type.
character development
there have been fan theories that linebeck might be groose's descendant
ezlo is also pretty good
he sought treasure... but the real treasure was the Link he found along the way
Linebeck was the real treasure
People don't talk about how funny zelda writing can be. Even now tears of the kingdom will get me laughing.

I consider Linebeck every single day of my life
No one talks about how he's always doing a :3 face.
