after owning samsung so for many years i knew i was doing the combo correctly and was getting annoyed! first bug ive ever experienced though and found this video and im now able to go into the recovery mode, very strange bug but now works thank you!
I have had samsung phones for over 8 or 9 years now. And I was becoming oblivious, I knew there is no f way I get this wrong. Thank you brother for enlightening our path. xD (This Bug did carry over to One UI 4.0 As well!!!)
The update drive me nuts. I have Note10 Lite it no USB-C earphones, after power off the trick just connect phone to PC before push the button when logo appears release the button immediately.
Lol..after each update i go and clear the cache partition, my surprise when this time it didn't worked. Thanks for this video man, you're a life saver. Btw you're using the defautl one UI launcher? when you swiped up the animation on your note seems different than mine
S10 procedure as follows.....Plug into computer with cable, then turn off phone and wait 20 secs. Keep cable connected and pc on. Hold volume up, bixby and power button together. When you see samsung boot screen logo release power only. You will then see the android robot briefly appear release all buttons and now you have the menu. Choose item with volume keys then hit power button to select. ONLY FOR ANDROID 11
I was happy that I have found the solution ... But sadly this trick didnt work with me.. when I release the power button and keep pressing on the volume, it shows me samsung logo and it restarts normally :S I am annoyed that I want to try the wipe cache option as my wireless charging is no longer working
I have an S10e with Android 12 and OneUI 4.1 and recovery mode also does not start. Seems that Samsung developers are sleeping, good morning. I'll try your solution, thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot for the video. I got one more update which could help others who have Samsung Note 10+ with Android 11 with OneUI 3.0 (Snapdragon varient) I used normal type-c cable and connected the same to a working laptop as well as my phone while my phone is off, then i hold the power button + volume up till the android logo comes up, then i released the power button while holding the volume up and Boom, it worked and i am finally able to get into the recovery menu. The type-c headphone or the direct charging cable did not work for me for some reason, but the above method worked.
Yeah I've tried this method too and it works. So far the only one that seem to work is the headphones or with the computer. Still not sure if this is a bug or Samsung really wanted to do it like this
Finally someone having the same problem but in Australia I only have the s10 with this issue my s10 has a headphone jack so do I plug them into my headphone jack or use power
Hi I have a Galaxy S10+ that I am trying to reset also. I tried with a USB-C cable to laptop as the headphones that came with the phone is a jack socket connection, but still no joy.. The phone just keeps rebooting and I cant access the menu to do a factory reset. Is there anything else I can try? Really appreciate it if anyone can help. Thanks.
Ok, at last.. I can go to the recovery mode.. I know, some testimonies said that i need to plug my charger because of the latest update on android system.. but i didn't know it also can work with headphone!!! Tks!!!
What about Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, I have Android 11 on it but when I try power on & volume combination I did not get recovery mode. I got SS RDX screen, what should I do ? Look like it corrupted/buggy update
Don't understand why samsung did this after the update. I cant get to the recovery menu because i have the s10 5g, which has 3.5mm headphone jack. I dont have access to a computer either 😒
I'm having both this issue, but also the 'moisture detected' error. Have tried every possible solution except doing this wipe, but since I can't plug anything in the USB port, it basically means I can't fix either of the problems.
@@TechToderici yeah I tried cleaning it out by getting dust clumps out of the ports. There was basically nothing visible in there anymore. Then I tried using rubbing alcohol and let it sit for an hour. But still nothing. I'm kinda loaing hope of actually fixing the moisture error...
Bro pls help me my akg earphone is not working and theres a silence notification(usb connected and disconnected) what i need to do i try my akg earphone on other type c phone and its working but not for my samsung note 10 pls help
Anyone else notice how the youtube app seems to glitch out when it's minimized? Facing issues with various apps and Google maps too! When I click "navigate" in postmates fleet app, sometimes it does a good job at opening the Google maps, but other times, it seems to have trouble and is stuck on the Google maps loading screen. The google car icon flips back and forth from the car to the Google arrow icon. Very strange. I have to restart my device when this happens. Closing the apps, or "force stopping" the apps doesn't fix the issue. When youtube gets minimized, it does a great job 50% of the time, other times, it goes to the very bottom of the display, and when I try to move the picture in picture video around, it tries to "close" it, but when I open any other app, it comes right back up.... Very strange....... dont like this experience.
hey, i tried this on the s10+ on One Ui 4.0 Running Android 12 and it didnt worked. i tried the while charging trick as well and it didnt work. can you help me please😞?

If you don't have USB headphones, you should be able to also plug in USB cable into PC first, then try to enter recovery mode. Should work then.
Yes can confirm
Nicee works on my S10 5G
Mine just shows the charging percentage, not the Samsung logo how to fix?
yes. this worked! thanks. I was starting to get frustrated
Thanks. It worked with me (Samsung A51)
You don't need to use the original earphone to do it work, you can use some random USB cable connected into your PC
Yes that too
