Thanks so much for this video, I powered my phone off Saturday evening around 8:30pm, tried powering it on again around midnight to have the continual reboot scenario, Vodafone in the UK said that they would have to send away to fix it which I'm sure they would have charged me for, they even pointed me to a "U break we fix" shop in the high street to see what they could do, they made a big song and dance of what would be involved and how much it would cost. I was just about to claim on my insurance policy when I found this video, using the Mini C to USB adaptor that came with the phone I plugged a headset into it, did the "up volume, bixby button and power" and lo it took me straight in as you demonstrated. A quick restore of a backup and I've lost around 2 days of WhatsApp conversation, which I'm happy to live with. Great video, many thanks

I have this same issue, but I do not have and headphones with. USB c connector, and don't really want to buy some just for this as I will ever use them. Might be time for a new phone. But I appreciate you for the video. It at least shows me its not just me having this issue!

This definitely works. S10 procedure as follows.....Plug into computer with cable, then turn off phone and wait 20 secs. Keep cable connected and pc on. Hold volume up, bixby and power button together. When you see samsung boot screen logo release power only. You will then see the android robot briefly appear release all buttons and now you have the menu. Choose item with volume keys then hit power button to select. ONLY FOR ANDROID 11
I have a21s, normal method of just pushing volume up + power key doesnt work, so I hooked c cable usb charger into laptop that is on, and it worked, got into recovery mode successful, thank you

Safe mode could mean an corrupted firmware (sometimes some apps are causing it) or a hardware damage. Or you did it just wrong to get into recovery. Try connect an usb cable to the computer - follow the video. Good luck
Mate you are an absolute life saver. I could not for the life of me see why it didn't boot into recovery mode. Thanks so much. Fyi, plugging in a USB-C cable into a running PC also works, as some comments pointed out. :)
I have the samsung a10 and i upgraded it to android 11 and recorvery mode works just as fine as it used to be just press volume up and power button and release when you see logo
Something happened to my phone and I need answers. It died even though it was at 15%, so I put it to charge and left for a few minutes. I came back and there was a black screen with all of this white code all over it. I panicked and took out the battery since it wouldn't let me power on the phone. Once I put the battery back in, the wifi wouldn't work. My instagram wouldn't work, neither would Play Store or discord. My Lookout app says everything is okay, that my apps are safe, but to see my wifi not working on that specific device scares me. It's working for everyone else
It's still not working for me man my note 10 plus has no option to reset device tried watching over 15 RUclips videos and following instructions and it just boots back up. It vibrates as if it's going to do something then it waits on the Samsung logo for a short time, then the phone just turns back on and I get the error message [PDP] , back-up : fail , setup-wizard [FINISH]. No matter which method I try this happens. I believe it may have something to do with the fact that when I bought the phone I used smart switch to copy my s10 plus to the new note10 plus I bought. I think something went wrong during the process as my internet cut out for like 20 seconds(I turned it off like a fool). After this the phone had no play store and I noticed some of the settings i have on s10plus were missing on the note 10 plus 5g. Now I try to hard reset it and I'm I've hit this brick wall. Not sure what to do now, can someone help please.
Thank you! Work for Note20 Ultra. I dont update my Tab S5e, the last Android suck. As for launcher, i use Nova From time to time i wipe cache and twice a year i do factory reset. Thanks again. edit: i tried 4 variants: 1-usbC stick, it worked; 2-usbC ssd(adata), it worked; 3-the empty cable usbC to usbC of the adata ssd, it worked. 4th way, big surprise, the usbC to usbC empty cable provided with the phone, did Not worked. the adata ssd cable is short and alot thicker.
Sadly this doesn't seem to work for my s10e exynos version (with plugging my charging cable into my computer). It's already pretty sad that samsung won't just let us clear all the cache data the easy way via our phone settings tho
@@CrocFIX I realised I had the android 12. Not the 10/11. So I found a new method just for the android 12. It worked!! Similar to this. Thanks for for your help 😊.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro with One UI v5.1.1 & Android 13. I have tried with and with the cable. With and without the Bixby button held. Maybe I am missing something. Please Help
Some of the Tablets have different procedure. But your should work with holding volume off + power button after you have switched it off. You don't need a cable
I've tried this combination plugged into my pc, also plugged into the wall charger, but alas I still cannot access recovery mode. At first my S8 was black screened with a blue flashing light, but after attempting multiple soft resets now even the light won't come on. I was able to view the Samsung Logo for longer than two milliseconds once, but it was simply frozen. Beyond that no matter how many soft resets I attempt, the logo flashes for a mere split second, then the phone shuts off. The only screen I have actual access to is the Blue Screen prompting a Custom OS when pressing the Volume Down + Bixby + Power. Nothing else prompts. I was able to get the Battery Charging icon to pop up once or twice (no charge shown, just the symbol) but haven't been able to get that to even pop up again all day. No button combination I've tried has worked :( I attempted Droid Kit as well but it didn't work either. The weird thing is my laptop keeps alerting me a device has been connected each time I attempt reboots while connected, but it's even doing so when I'm not actively attempting a reset. I'm assuming it means it is somewhat picking up on my S8, but because I'm having issues, it keeps reconnecting intermittently.
im using A71, i dont have earphone C cable so trying using C to C cable from my charger but nothing.. should i connect the cable to pc ?

Safe mode could mean an corrupted firmware (sometimes some apps are causing it) or a hardware damage. Or you did it just wrong to get into recovery. Try connect an usb cable to the computer - follow the video. Good luck
Thanks for the help! Worked out great with your tutorial!
okay so if you don't have headphones, you can just use a laptop or any other smart device, just a charger won't work. tried it, works!
Yes, exactly 👍
Awesome! Worked perfectly. Thanks
Great to hear!
Dude your video helped me so much. I am so so grateful!! Thank you so much!!
You're welcome!
Please solve this problem.
Unable to disable quotas on dev/block/platform because system/bin/tune2fs is missing
Worked as described Crock. Thanks a Lot😃
Glad it helped
Also works with just connecting USB cable from the laptop incase you dont have type c headphones.
thank you! I connected the phone to my pc and it worked!
You are welcome ;) Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE ;)
Thanks mate !! 👍 it works !!
Enjoy
Mate you are an absolute life saver. I could not for the life of me see why it didn't boot into recovery mode. Thanks so much. Fyi, plugging in a USB-C cable into a running PC also works, as some comments pointed out. :)
Glad I could help. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE for more solutions :)
Does it work if you plug it into a running Xbox or other device or does it have to be a pc? Can't get this to work at all on my S20 😖
As for launcher, i use Nova
From time to time i wipe cache and twice a year i do factory reset.
Thanks a lot ! USB-C cable + laptop did the work.
Great!
Thank you so much man, I was trying it for about 2 weeks and your video safe me 💗

Pls i need your helpp
Did it wipe any contacts any photos, apps
Sadly this doesn't seem to work for my s10e exynos version (with plugging my charging cable into my computer). It's already pretty sad that samsung won't just let us clear all the cache data the easy way via our phone settings tho
It should
I have the 10e and it didn't work for me :,(
@@SoniaRossi72 I have tried with a S10e and it did work. Try more times. Follow the video
@@CrocFIX I realised I had the android 12. Not the 10/11. So I found a new method just for the android 12. It worked!! Similar to this. Thanks for for your help 😊.
@@SoniaRossi72 What was the new method? I have an s10 with android 12 and it's not working for me.
November 2022. Thank you so much for this man. God bless you.

Glad it helped!
Plugging it into the computer worked, thank you
I've tried this combination plugged into my pc, also plugged into the wall charger, but alas I still cannot access recovery mode.
It could be a hardware failure : battery or your motherboard
