What about all the money missing from her safe? They didn't touch on that, did they? And the daughter still received her inheritance after all is said and done. That seems so wrong to me on so many levels. The one thing to remember, after her meesily 5 yrs is up - which is terrible in itself, i don't imagine she has anyone who considers her to be their family anymore. Lonely life cuz her husband will be incarserated for another 15 yrs after she gets out. Serves her right!

When someone plots, and carries out the murder and then tries to cover-up of that murder, I say life in prison. No exceptions. You take someone’s life in a premeditated fashion, bye-bye.

I'm sitting here wondering what I'd do if close family disappeared and I don't think it would cross my mind to call a psychic. It was brilliant. Dawn slandered and spoke horribly about her mother, she stole her vehicle and then manipulated the police's response, making light of the situation. I believe she was in on the murder from the beginning and that it wasn't in the heat of the moment. That squeaky voice pleading for help to find her Mum is a piece of it.

What kind of a daughter would do that? and what police still do not think there is no foul play when money in the safe has disappeared and the owner too? They should have been more diligent, but then I admit the what the daughter said misled them. Still, it's very bothering.

The more I watch these types of shows, the more it’s proven to me that the police in our country just don’t go the extra mile, there ARE good working cops but they become complacent and they surely NEED constant training in different modalities of policing. Specially teaching them how to de escalate complicated social issues, do background checks on new recruits and keep checking the ones already working... I know that all that becomes quite expensive but see it as saving money that otherwise would go to pay all kinds of lawsuits.......😮
