  • It's 1983 in West London and a killer is on the loose. When 25 years old Jackie Poole was assaulted and strangled to death in her own home, the police and community were on high alert. Despite a thorough police investigation, there is not enough evidence to convict a killer. But things change when a local psychic believed she was being visited by the victim's vengeful spirit. In a supernatural trance, she was taken back in time to Jackie's murder and returned with vital information. Can she solve this brutal crime outside of conventional law enforcement?

    I can't imagine the level of anger and frustration that detectives, and the family of homicide victims go through when they KNOW 100% who the guilty person(s) are, but not having enough damn evidence to go to court and prosecute them. Also, the detectives that collected forensic evidence decades before, on the hope that one day it will be able to be used to convict the suspect is amazing to me..

      They're not necessarily closed minded. What the psychics provided is hearsay. It doesn't mean they can't use the info to follow a lead though. They have to go to court with ACTUAL EVIDENCE.
      Even police forces that use psychics STILL have to have actual evidence to convict.

      @@Luna.3.3.3 Of course they do.. Not disputing that fact.. The fact that it took several years!!! for them to take the psychic's evidence seriously, or serious enough to give it a second look, was a disgrace..

Thats when we stand before the great judge. And beleive me, ALL of us will be going through this. I have repented and know that I am forgiven. Just like not all doctors graduated at the top of their class and frequently get a medical diagnosis wrong, not all psychics are accurate. It doesn't mean they don't have potential to be better at it, but they can get mixed messages...a sort of jumble of information like being on a party-line phone if you're old enough to know what that is. :) And, of course, there are outright frauds out there.

    Calling him "The West London Strangler" implies he was a serial killer, but there was no mention. Is this just clickbait? Because you don't need to stoop to clickbait if you have a good psychic solves a murder story, which you do. So, what gives?

    • @miriamelle864

    • @lusimyer
      @lusimyer 2 года назад +1

      @@miriamelle864 No it doesn't. I think it's just more our interpretation when we hear the word stranger. Due to previous cases usually being of a serial killer nature...so we associate it with a serial killer.
      In reality if he strangled one person he is still a "strangler" by definition.
