As we are an absolutely rugby crazy country, you can go out almost anywhere and find a place to watch, any restaurant or bar. Alot of the malls also stay open late to show the game on a big screen. Just ask the locals in your area, they will be more than happy to point out all the places!!

Im from Ireland and honestly thought England were going to win, heart breaking for them to lose by a single point after leading almost all of the game, but South Africa are a tough team, they never let up and just keep believing.

Also, most family restaurants will broadcast the match live BUT you have to get there early as most places may book-out early....if it's at a restaurant it's possible your ears will be "shot" after the game as South African's are "loud" during the game...you will certainly feel like you are on that field with the noisy around you.....If you do get to watch the match live, enjoy it.

That match was a rollercoaster for South Africans. 😬😬 😭😭 England was the underdog in this semi finals but they nearly pulled off a massive upset against us. They dominated the first half and most of the second half. I honestly think this was the Springboks worst World Cup performance. But hey, we made it to the final against the tougher New Zealand team, so I hope we bring our A game and do not repeat our mistakes from the England match.
It was an intense game and I am so proud of my nation South Africa my heart was not good watching this game

Epic reaction!! Jolly Roger is a classic place to watch although it can get a little rowdy so not necessarily a family place. The Hogshead is also a good shout if you're looking for a bar vibe and then from what I can remember Melrose Arch and Monte Casino both set up a big screens that are easily accessible for everyone! Also Pirates rugby club could be a good shout but I am unsure what their viewing situation actually is... make sure to book early if you choose to watch at a bar/restaurant. Go Bokke

England was playing a really amazing game, even i feel heart broken for them, they really played their hearts out, played this amazing game while we were fumbling, they really were outplaying the world's no1
We played really , really bad🙈and what made it worse was England brought their A game. Our reserves really had to bring the spirit and clear headedness at those last few minutes. If it wasn't for them we would not be celebrating

I think all major Malls will have big screens and thousands of fans there . In 2019 major roads and malls were closed so that they could be used for the final game to be screened . But a lot of news on venues will be mentioned publicly during the week. Expect thousands of people on streets , massive traffic jams and a lot of places closing early on Friday . So plan ahead and GET ur SA tshirts , flags and face painted … the locals call it ‘bring your GEES ‘ to the venue you’ll go to. Be safe and be aware of your surroundings too. Otherwise you’ll have the time of your life .

You can go to Hatfield side, opposite loftus stadium there is a shopping complex, the masses watch there on live screen, it's a chilled place. There are couches to sit on and chairs, there's is alcohol to be sold and there are restaurants around,,theres always a huge crowd and there is music

About the goal kicks, there are three different occasions when the ball is kicked between the goals. A penalty kick, when the team makes a mistake the other team can choose to kick for goal, for three points. Then there is a conversion kick, when they kick after scoring a try. A try is for five points, and if they kick the ball over the goal they get two points added (the ball gets kicked from where it was placed behind the try line, that's why the players will usually try to get the ball under the goal posts). There is also a drop kick, where a player can kick the ball over the posts during play, and this gives them three points.

Please please please go watch the final in a bar or something, Monte Casino always had boktown with huge screen in the past. But please go out and watch the final with friends and just witness the passion and crazy South Africans!

The last two games gave me so much anxiety. I'm super nervous for the final against New Zealand. They will be fighting hard to take that World Cup glory from us. I just hope our boys are able to step up and hold onto the World Cup for a 4th time.

Where ever you are staying at the moment, choose the nearest, biggest mall to go watch the match. It's perfectly fine to go with your family, it's encouraged. Just one thing, plenty of noise, so your baby/toddler will have a hard time sleeping.

The France vs South Africa quarter-final game the week before was a much more entertaining game and one of the best ever - would definitely recommend watching. The SA side was exhausted from their epic battle against France. Also, I'm so sad you weren't able to watch with the locals, definitely go find a pub for the finals! Great way of meeting and bonding with people. Rugby is the way to our hearts; if anyone supports our boys we are automatic friends.

Kinda like football it’s so much about the ‘chess’ match across the whole game, so while I love reaction video and highlights you gotta watch the whole game if you can;) Love soccer too but what’s great about rugby is that there is a winner and loser in almost every single contact and play. Once you got the basic rules down you’ll love it even more;)
On the rules side there’s loads of good RUclips videos explaining rugby to football players but really it’s just five things you gotta know, all the rest is a consequence of these:
1. Can only kick or carry the ball forward.
2. Can only tackle the person with the ball
3. If you tackled you must put the ball down, and the person who tackled you must let you.
4. You have to be on your feet and keeping your own weight to pick the ball up off the ground.
5. You have to approach the ball from your side of the field (ie the offside line runs through the middle of the ball)
Lets just pray we win the world cup Saturday cause it will be awesome and yes our country loves rugby 🏉 . You guys can go to all mall and watch it there is gonna be amazing ❤

2:34 indeed, the English team's biggest strength I'd say is their kicking. They do a lot of drop goals, so the Springboks had to prevent drop goal opportunities (and won by a razor-thin edge.

Old Parks Sports Club, in Bordeaux, Randburg (not far from Sandton). On Saturday they had a big screen up on the field, for the Semi-Finals, so I am sure they will do the same for the finals. Its going to be insane and electric.
