In case you didn't know this.. South Africa has only been allowed to partake in the world cup the last 8 times..we have now won it 4 times! Super proud of our Bokke and South Africa 🇿🇦
Thanks for educating me!
Yes true we had sanctions against us
Yah due to apartheid
As French. Stop showing off
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 showing off is part of success deal with it
We have a saying in South Africa now: "We won France by 1 point, we won England by 1 point, we won New Zealand by 1 point, just to prove a point."
I hope they get your point😂😂❤
62 million South Africans celebrated an auspicious moment. 33 of them fought for our country like nothing else
50 million South Africans. Can't count the illegals
For an American, you are grasping the game quite well.
Thank you
What do you mean for an American ? Lol they have rugby clubs and an international team they know the rugby laws etc
Yeah not many of the Americans watch rugby and know the rules but the way you say that makes it sound like tjey are clueless lol
@JinxRugby yip, i know. I'm referring to the gentleman who is presenting this podcast. It's meant to be a complement. America is known for its football while South Africa is a rugby playing nation, and as a South African I appreciate his bias 😉
Respect to the All Blacks. As a South African I have deep respect for them as do every South African.
you play South Africa in finals you better hold the ball, make your tackles and take your limited chances tbh.sourh africa have played against some pretty special all black teams including when they beat the great jonah lomu causing havouc....so respect and maybe kiwis and boks will let somebody else win next world cup 😂
Congratulations to South Africa winning the world cup for a record 4th! They have done Africa proud.... Rainbow nation for sure! Proudly African! World Champions!
for me this win was vital for Africa. waka waka Fifa 2010. this time for Africa not just South Africa we on one land #strongertogether
Love to see you loving Springbok rugby❤🎉
My heart broke for Cheslin Kolbe when he was sitting there and couldn't bring himself to watch the last 8 mins of the game. It was his birthday that day too. But what a fantastic birthday present at the end of the day. I just felt so bad for him in those last few mins.
Wow that’s good to know!
I think Cheslin was busy praying.
I was sobbing with him, I could not imagine what he was going through, and there Captain Siya, after all was sad and done. He came and gave him a big hug and a kiss on the head. That warmed my heart. ❤
He had a sad moment probably feeling disappointed in himself for the card. I was happy to see him rejoicing with his mates 🎉🎉🏈🏈🏆🏆
Things were going bad, Cheslin Kobe got time pray for the nation and God showed us that He truly loves us 🇿🇦❤️
This was a hectic final....New Zealand came in strong we couldnt breath ..4 time Champions and more yet to come🎉🇿🇦🏆
Absolutely!
Yo Maps. Emphasis on the part where we couldn't breath. I can now confirm that I know where the term nail-biting comes from
Before this third and final Ruby World Cup 2023, we had won both of our previous games by a single point, which is something that no nation, including South Africa, could have replicated.
Springboks have demonstrated their ability to defend and compete for a gold medal. They are family, not just a team.
Congratulations Springboks for winning the #RugbyWorldCup2023 against The All Blacks.
Thanks for educating me!
I am happy you experienced first hand the fun of being a South African....
Morale is so low in the country right now, we really needed this. This sport is a glue that brings the nation together. Our country may suck at a whole list of stuff, from keeping the lights on to civil services, but THIS is the one thing we are really world class at. We ARE the best team. Not because we are arrogant but because we set records, and never EVER give up. And the rest of the world fears us. That is why they boo us in the stadium because they KNOW we are the best and they want us eliminated so their own teams won't have to face us. In an interview one of the Kiwi team representatives even said, facing England would have been much easier because they are intimidated by the All Blacks team reputation. The Springboks are not. Not only are we not intimidated by them, but we relish winning them. They fear us. The team that is feared by the whole of the rest of the world, fears US! That deserves respect.
As French. Pff. This is just rugby
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 To you maybe. If you saw what it did to our population you would understand why this is a big deal to us. Our country is falling apart. This sport keeps us from splintering into ethnic groups fighting amongst each other. It keeps us united and facing the true foe: a corrupt government. I'm glad that your defeat meant nothing to you. Because then it is a win-win for both of us.
@@soara4634 We French lost. Nothing to be proud of. Now, Couldn't care less
I was heartbroken afterwards of the Quarter Finals
@@christophermichaelclarence6003This win was not just for us but former French colonies especially Burkina Faso.
Ama Bok Bok🎉🇿🇦🏆💪....Yes we did it. Love our Bokkies. thanks to New Zealand for making us work for it. The best competitor's.
Glad you are enjoying SA and Afrika - OUR MOTHERLAND. Congratulations Boks 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Well deserved win.
You also have to congratulate PSDT for a GOAT peformance. As a forward myself it is so exciting and satifying how big those tackles were.
So glad you watched a full game with other people! Now for your first test match at Loftus or FNB Stadium
Yes it was an absolute vibe!
This is the reaction I was looking forward to. Great to see that you experienced the vibe with the group of South Africans.
Man, that place had such an awesome vibe. You could tell everyone was having a blast during the finals and I'm stoked that we clinched our 4th World Cup victory. We came in with a rock solid game plan and it totally paid off. Our defense was on point. We owned the first half but the second half got a bit dicey. New Zealand really upped their game even with just 14 players and it looked like they might pull off an upset against us. But we held our ground and the match was super intense. It could've gone either way. Mad props to New Zealand; they're still top notch. They've got that flair and I gotta give them credit. 🔥🔥👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
I'm happy that u were part of this milestone my brother.
My heart lived outside my chest for the duration of the game, especially the last 5 minutes. My nerves were shot! Well done Springboks! We are so proud of you.
I think our Springboks has a new supporter in the USA 😅
Officially the country with the most rugby world cup wins!
You are really cool a American shouting for the Bokke Go Bokke we are proud of you!!
😂😂
Very very cool.
Youre correct he is infact the best kicker in the world and the highest paid rugby player in the world too
Wow that’s amazing
HE gets 1.8M dollar a seasom as normal payment exluding his performance..kicking to posts...tries etc add all that he makes even more a season. And kolbe is the 3rd or 4th highest paid player around 700-900K a seasom if i recall i might be wrong or ourdated he could be just over 1mil by now
You will get your 100k plaque soon, just keep working bro! Your almost there and you make the best SA videos and videos in general, keep up the grind!
We appreciate the encouragement family!
That bloody game aged me ten years
Me too
I know right😂
Eish!!!
a kiwi living in sydney i picked boks to win based on being calm under pressure....but dang that pick was tested
Best decision ever for choosing South Africa over other countries, hope you stay with us permanently
Would be good❤
My guy came to SA to watch the RWC final. Respect! 💪
I'm so proud of our Bokke and what they have accomplished. I remember watching the 1995 RWC Final. There was truly something beautiful about our nation and what we can accomplish when we are united. That magic is still there.
I'm glad you are getting to experience what and who we are as a nation. Now for the three-peat 2027 😅❤🇿🇦
Siya Kolisi's tackle wasn't upgraded to a red because of one primary factor, this being the fact that the contact was shoulder to shoulder. Of course, shoulder contact is still considered a high tackle, just not nearly as dangerous as Sam Cane's tackle (the all black player that got a red card) which was shoulder to head. If Sam Cane hadn't made that tackle, I suspect New Zealand would've added a fourth rugby world cup to their name.
For a future video, I'd recommend Jonah Lomu highlights, arguably the goat of rugby, certainly the best winger of all time. I don't want to give to much away but i'd love to see you react to this.
To answer one of your questions, why did the south african winger, Cheslin Kolbe get the yellow card in the final 10 minutes? There's a rule that you can't knock the ball on if it's considered on purpose, or in this case go for the ball when you have no chance of catching it.
Our boys made us proud and we LOVE them! Quick question for you: how does our "gees" (spirit, passion) compare to the USA (or other countries you've visited)? I feel like our way of celebrating and supporting our boys is pretty unique!
Congratulations Springboks❤️ go bokker
I believe God was with us and it was so challenging from Qter finals to Finals, France, England and New Zealand yoh it was not easy at all but we did it again and again
Amandla ngawethu the Power is Ours, Stronger Together ✊🏽🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

It's good to see you enjoying Our Country🇿🇦. I guess your blood is Green & Gold now.💛💚
Your rugby understanding is getting so good!! You are awesome. Xxx
Thank you
Fun fact, their winger Mark Telea, number 11, is half South African and he is the one AB player that kept us on the edge of our seats whenever he got the ball.
Reminded me of Joe Rokocoko and Jonah Lomu.
The Rugby Law that gave Kolbe a yellow card was that "deliberately knocked the ball forward". Its a tough rule but it makes the game interesting and cuts out any unsporting or ugly slowing down of the game.
No matter what, if you put one hand out without a "realistic chance of catching it", its 10 minutes in the sin bin for you!
As a young South African about to start traveling a bit of the world while I can, I believe your chanel will be a special way for me to see my beautiful country through the eyes of someone blessed to be experiencing it for the first time!
Glad to be a part of your family. Keep up all the great content! Particularly the rugby reactions, I'm sure with this RWC win the interest for the sport will only increase.
Much love! 🇿🇦
Be careful traveling around the world ....be wary and take care
With Kolbe's yellow card: There needs to be a genuine and realistic chance of catching or intercepting the ball. If there isn't and you knock it forward, it is deemed a cynical or professional foul
Thanks for educating me!
Even I learned something. Thanks 😊 I really thought up to reading your comment it was unfair/unjust - now I understand 😊
No sweat, this sport needs a lot of educating LOL@@FREEDOMCHASERSLIFE
Glad to be of help. World champions help each other you know 😊@@anzellstoop218
Eben did nearly the same thing in the Semi's but it went backwards, hence no card :)
About Kolby getting a yellow card it was because you not allowed to intercept a ball by slapping it away (unless its backwads towards your own players).
They introduced that rule to have better continuality in the game.
The yellow card for hitting the ball is normally ruled as intentional. He wasn't trying to catch the ball, rather just deflecting the ball when you have no chance of gaining possession. Hope that helps
New Zealand are no joke.
Them and Ireland I was nervous for.
But South Africa has the attitude and skill to defy the odds.
Yep, the Boks have Big Match Temperament for sure...
🇿🇦🏉🥇🏆
So amazed that you got to be a part of what makes us tick.. Something that may seem so small to a lot of other nations but we have so little to hold onto that we make the best of what we get. 🇿🇦💥
This team thrice now they nearly put us under cardiac arrest! This game will be the death of us all. But it was worth every heart stopping moment. Well done boys you did us proud twice. Respect.
Glad you got to see it with a crowd.
For Cricket. We're playing against New Zealand on the 1st of November from 10h00.
The next game will be against India on the 5th of November from 10h00(This is the one I'm anticipating the most)
We'll also play against Afghanistan and some other country. I have forgotten the days. I'll update some time later
Pollard saved us with those penalty kicks 🎉
The Anxiety was real🥶🥵😅. Handré Pollard was amazing. He nailed those penalties. I'm from Cape Town, the vibe was awesome here as well especially at the V&A waterfront. We made history twice, firstly 4 time champions🥳🎉🙌👏 and secondly President Cyril Ramaphosa second Rugby World Cup win as President of SA🇿🇦😅
bugger Ramaphosa . Tell him to fix SA before he can glory in an event he was never part of
@@michelderauville633 Chill pill. I'm not for him at all. Just something that was on my mind at that moment😂😂😂
Did you see the New Zealand haka? 🤔 Gives chills 😮
If you want to see a an absolute legend of a kicker look up Francois Steyns longest kicks.
Massive congratulations South Africa. Thanks for the great game👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
All respect to the Mighty All Blacks who played with 14 players for 70mins of the game only to lose by 1 point is unheard of. No other team is at this calibre. South Africa would’ve pulverised any other.
#MightyAllBlacks you done us proud💯❤️❤️
If you like that game , watch the 1995 Game . First game as the new SA . That was our hardest game . Welcome to SA.
Glad you enjoyed the game!
so glad you got to see it in a environment where the vibe was insane!!!
TX for watching with us, we appreciate
so glad you guys can experience SA
Absolutely
Sad didn't get to see ya homes, glad you enjoyed it, the vibes were insane!!!!
Rugby players need the protection because there is no protective gear like the NFL. I think you are going to be really great with the game bro. I also agree with your observation on the Siya yellow card. Slightly harsh but its done to protect the players. If we had lost, you would have experienced 60 million people in a depression. We South Africans are terrible losers. We really cant take a loss we all slumber in a state of perpertual depression but in the same vain we celebrate wins till kingdom come. Wait till the springboks come back to SA and do the bus tour and you will see us. Great reaction as always
Thanks for watching family!
got to say will the northern hemisphere ever win another world cup....between the boks and kiwi s and shuold i say wobblies there are a few world cup wins tbh
Also, we have family all over the world. I have clips of my young cousin (South African former semi professional rugby player) and his wife (American) at their local bar in Florida. The bar brought in SA beer and snacks. They were dancing on the tables!! Love the support. And its FUN!!
Love it
I've been waiting for ur update. It was a tense game and ur first in a public place. Must have been such a vibe. Glas u enjoyed it!
I love the last part of your video, question! Where did you watch the game?
Last yellow card was for a deliberate knock on. You are allowed to intercept the ball if you have a reasonable chance of getting. You could also knock it back but cannot knock forward
Check out the Jones Family. Also an American family who moved to Johannesburg. Check out how they enjoy their Rugby final.
5:46 Mark Telea, the black dude for NZ who was ripping through the defence is actually half South African. Makes sense why he’s so good.
That yellow card for Chelsin was for a deliberate knock on , if u intercept u must catch the ball
Thanks for educating me!
Great Game!! Go Springboks!💚💛💚💛
The Kolbe yellow card was a very unfortunate thing, but credit to the ref, it was fair. The rules state that if a player knocks-on the ball (meaning the ball goes forward in play, with contact with another player or the ground) and the player didn't make an attempt to catch it (like an interception), the a yellow card of foul play is given. Unfortunately, Kolbe meant no ill intent but rules are rules. Shout-out to Cheslin Kolbe though, a mega match from him ...and it was his birthday that day!!!
Was really looking forward to this! I so wished I could have been home to experience the atmosphere.
🎉Thank u for this review
No problem, thanks for watching
Springboks🏆💚🇿🇦💪Much respect to New Zealand 🤛
@Freedom Chasers One of our legendary Springboks also played as a kicker in the NFL. His name is Naas Botha.
Hitting the ball that way is considered an obstruction.
Good to know
Love how you and your wife loves South Africa. You’re so welcome here.
Thank you
Now you will experience something glorious when the Springboks return and do their tour. You moved to SA just in time
Do yourself a favor and get down to the Cap Town rugby sevens this weekend 9 and 10 December. Great party atmosphere. South Africa's sevens team, the Blitzboks won last week's tournament in Dubai and have been drawn in the same pool as the USA this weekend. You will really enjoy it.
Thank you for coming to south africa ❤❤
Don't miss their tour with the cup, the vibes will be insane! Loke nothing you will have ever experienced! 🇿🇦
My brother it was heart stopping game. Much respect, love to All Blacks New Zealand
Thanks for watching family!
@FREEDOMCHASERSLIFE I am delighted that you and your family got to witness history in SA, love n respect my brother. Waiting to welcome the Boys for victory parade at FNB Bank City Piazza JHB CBD,
Proudly SOUTH AFRICAN🎉💛💚
Love your enthusiasm and support for our boys brother, they work their whole lives away and sacrifice literally everything to make it this far (to be fair all rugby players do that and every other professional athlete) would love to have a chat with you if you ever have the chance. I can answer all of your questions about the sport but mostly would just like a bro I can talk rugby with 😂 cheers brother thanks for the content, keep it up!
Love how you supported SA!!!
The fourth (Colbe) was for a deliberate knock-on.
It is deemed a cynical play, in that if the ball was passed on to the next NZ player, they had a great chance of scoring a try due to the numbers in overlap.
What he should have done was hold on to the ball (intercept), as that is deemed a legitimate play.
The final fell on Kolbe's 30th birthday. His yellow card came in the 73rd minute for an intentional knock down of a pass
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed the Bokke performance. Rugby and NFL is a bit different. But it's a great game nevertheless.
he hit the ball then tackled the guy
Hi this sport is very hard icant do it congrats to springbok
I just discovered this channel ohh my goodness your content is so refreshing guys I’m here for it I’m hooked. That was a hectic final jhoo😅but I’m happy we made it🥳🥳
We’re glad you enjoy our content and Welcome to the family!
It's a professional foul, it disrupts the motion of the game if everyone just knocks the ball out of play or knocks it forward. There has to be genuine reach by the player with two hands for it not be considered a professional/intentional foul. Cheslin took one for the team basically lol cause if that pass went thru, we lose😂
Thanks for educating me!
Did you notice that our commentators do not mention statistics and previous plays, wins, last time this and that? Trevor Noah made a video comparing ours vs US announcers.
I don't know if anyone has responded to your question at the 6:40 mark? That's the equivalent of pass interference in American Football. In football you can't interfere with the pass by making contact with the wide receiver (but you can face the QB and intercept the pass), In rugby you can't interfere with a pass by batting the ball forward when one of the offensive players passes to his teammate but you are allowed to hit the ball backwards or intercept it by holding onto the ball.
Ive been waiting for this! Love your commentary, and thank you for sharing. Lol! You deep in the green and gold :) As are all of us. Lotsa love to you and the Fam.
Thank you
Enjoy your Stay in South Africa. Make it your Home.
Thank you
Protecting players is important for the survival and future of the game kids get paralysed at school level
We used to have a kicker called Joel Strantsky. He was awesome too just after apartheid ended.
You are ao lovely. I know we will cross paths one day. We love you guys xxx
Thank you, hopefully we will.
Cheslin Kolbe got paralyzed because of the high tackle but heating the ball it's knock on
haha you are crazy, and good. I enjoy your vids. You even flew to SA to watch the final. Big up bro.
The yellow card for Cheslin Kolbe was because of a deliberate knockdown, when going for an interception you have to actually go for the ball with intent, in this case Kolbe did not go for the ball with that intent and thats why he was sent off.
Thanku for healing through your positive comments❤️ and the positive reaction from the content creator..❤️.. I AM A SOUTH AFRICAN.. LOVE & BLESSINGS 2EVERYONE...
My dad used to play rugby he said that because of all these injuries you get in rugby it can be fatal like former rugby player Joost Van der Westhuizen he had a motor neuron disease and he died recently
You probably got tins 9f these comments but the reason given for Kolbe's yellow was that he intentionally knocked it on which is purposefully intefering with the flow of the game.
At the start of the match: There are one record that was guaranteed to be broken. Both sides going for their 4th Title. By winning, SA secured a second record - First team to successfully defend their Title.
Springbok kicker is our national treasury
