Seeing your original vlog about the Cosori Dual Blaze 6.4, had me buying one for myself.
I live alone, and am crippled with arthritis, so couldn't bend down safely to put things in and out of my oven, so I'd stopped making myself proper meals - but the Cosori Dual Blaze has made a huge difference to me now, and I'll happily make a small meal for myself, now!
It's a really versatile Air Fryer, and I can easily fit all of the elements needed, to make a complete meal for myself, in the large pan part, so it's all cooked at once.
This not only saves me time, and electricity but, more importantly for me, it saves me energy, as cooking tires me out quickly.
Thankyou for bringing this to my attention, as it's made such a difference to my life :)

Oh Katy. I'm so with you about the arthritis restrictive issues and am delighted to read that the Cosori Dual Blaze 6.4 has helped so much. Thank you so much for your very informative review! It's now on my shopping list. With love and wishes for less pain. Di xx

I really hope you find it as useful as I'm doing! ❤️
I really love cheese on toast, especially for a quick lunch, & had stopped making that, too, until I got the Dual Blaze!
Now I can use the broiler (grill) button to make it - I can fit 2 slices easily in the container part - and more quickly, much easier, & with no bending down to the grill!
This means with so much less pain, with not having to try and take a heavy metal grill out of my oven! Lol
It a wonderful invention, & well worth the money, especially if you can grab one on sale - hope you find one Diane! 🤣🤣🤣

@@KatytheNightOwl So nice of you to reply Katy! Great tips there. Cheese on toast is almost top of my list as well! If you're in the UK, a little touch of Marmite - either on the toast or even on top of the cheese sometimes really enhances it - depending on how you feel on the day.. However, Marmite/Vegemite tends to be one of those flavours that you either love or hate - no halfway house! 😏

      @@dianewray1867
Funnily enough that's how my daughter loves her cheese on toast! She'll put Marmite on almost anything, though Lol
Myself, I spread a small amount of mayo on the toast, put the cheese on top of that, then freshly grated black pepper! 👍
If I'm feeling adventurous, I'll shake a little paprika on top of the cheese, instead of the black pepper! It's Yummy! 🤣

You can say don’t shake, and it’s pretty true but if you overload it, then you do need to. Where this excels is in baking bread (buns in my case) and anything else of that sort. Plus for larger chunks of meat or meatloaf, it is easier.
    Overall, a good machine

A very impressive mid week roast there Mrs B!! It's also great to see children being encouraged to all eat the same meal at the same time and a balanced mix of veg and meat. None of this over processed ready made muck!

I’ve used my main oven once since I bought an air fryer a month back
I’m cooking for 2 to 3 daily (wife and elderly father in law) but I sorted that out by buying him an air fryer and prepping stuff to go into it
The only oven use has been a full load of pound loaf tins for bread for the lot of us
Meantime, I’ve baked about 3 dozen bread rolls in the air fryer anyway so other than toast and the smell … don’t need that either

Most things, you don’t need them
Just run chipe/roasts first then let them sit
Do the main meat or whatever and let that sit to rest while reheating the potatoes
If mixing as roast veg, do both potatoes then veg, mix then finish while meat rests

    I’m very jealous you two!!!
    Lol
Only kidding. I love my air fryer thanks to your videos.
Enjoy your new baby it looks terrific.
Thanks for the reply to my comments unfortunately I don’t know how to reply or like your reply’s.
    I’m just not tech savvy
However I have a nice rack of ribs going in the pressure cooker and my moms bbq potatoes (1st attempt cooking them in the air fryer)
I’m sure they will turn out sticky sweet and Delic.
Snowing here on Long Island New York. Perfect day for cozy cooking.
Big hugs to your hairy babies. (Nooooo, not Lee !!!!)
    Hahahaaaaa
    Take good care

Looks very tasty. Out of interest, have you ever used an electric steamer? I've had one for years. I find it a cheap way of ding all my veg. Have one with 3 levels. Use as many/few as I need depending on how many people I'm cooking for. I even use it for peas as I picked up some small silicone dishes to pit them in so they don't block the steam holes the bottom of the tray.

Sharon said that her grandkids love their vegetables - probably because - unlike my generation’s adult influencers - not just parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, but any adult that looked after our nutritional needs, most of them couldn’t cook vegetables properly if their existence depended on it - vegetables had to be boiled and the water thrown down the drain - totally forgetting that the nutrients in cabbage and cauliflower and sprouts and other greens goes into the water - leaving a totally tasteless mess of a meal - the thought never occurred to them to use the water for gravy or stock or steam greens! No wonder our vegetables often (at least, if we had been allowed an option to either not have them at all or leave them - another option that never occurred to the staff at school) were left on the plate - we had to take something of everything and eat everything! Today, we now have air fryers that do anything from toast to roast!
My late mother used to boil everything in a roast - including the meat! My mother wondered why the fat on roast pork wouldn’t turn into crackling - what do you expect when you boil it - “I prefer it boiled”, mother reasoned!

You could turn the potato peelings into (air fried) potato crisps. I wonder whether this can be done with peeled carrot skins.

We just showed the pre set settings, of course you could cook a bit longer but the preset cooked it all the way through. I did say the presets are a guide so we proved that.

Hi Sharon & Martin this looks an amazing air fryer 😊 just wondering about the bottom element and the drawer going in & out. Does it scratch the element? Or is it coated in some kind of special non stick to prevent wearing the bottom element down?

    • @butlersempire
      @butlersempire  Год назад +2

It doesn't come into contact with the element
