thanks for taking the time to do this review. I bought mine in 2017 and forgot I had it - went to use it and need to change the battery; but can't get it open or remove the accessory (clip).

I want to use the device to measure pole vault so I need to add 3 cm to account for the thickness of the bar and about 3 feet to account for the base I will attach the device to, is there a way to do that such as calibratiing?
