Hi sir! I was watching you red cape tutorial and would like to ask if i can use khorne red instead of flesh tearers red
Not really no, it's not going to have the same finish
This looks so approachable even for people (like me) who have a reverential fear of NMM! Definitely going to try this on one of my next miniatures!
Happy to help!
Saved. You do a really good job of showing specifically what your brush is doing, and that helps us more intermediate painters a lot. Thanks!
I remember doing this technique when drawing. I've never thought about it for paint. Thanks for posting!
Happy to help!
This is definitely getting put into the saved videos, it’s an amazing guide, stippling seems less imposing than other NNM techniques, bravo 👏
VIEWS FOR THE VIEWS GOD
Great tutorial. This has given me some confidence to try doing nmm more broadly across an army
Happy to help!
Great tutorial, as usual! Thanks for churning out high quality stuff. :)
Thanks
That looks amazing!
Thanks
This is a really special video. Love it
Thanks
your tutorials are some of the best on RUclips, you show exactly what colours you need and mixes with the ratios. Only other channel I know that does that is Duncan Rhodes. You also explain stuff while showing how to do it... So many times I see a mini tutorial and they go now we do white, shows 1 clip and skips over all the areas they painted white...
Thanks! That's why I record my Audio WHILE painting and don't do voiceover later. There are things you only realise while painting.
@@JuanHidalgoMiniatures thanks to your tutorials my mini painting has gone from complete noob to at least decent in a stupidly quick time. I have only painted around 15 minis and the first to now is a like an entirely different painter did them. Your glazing explanations and showing the consistency on your nail helped so much in adding that next step to my minis
This is the video i need to watch . I am so glad you posted this vudei, showing this technique.
Great video, thumbs up !
Thanks!
Another awesome video mate, great stuff. I will be trying this out for sure! :)
Brilliant video thank you for the great explanation of this technique I’ve learnt so much from you 🙏 I’m going to give this a shot now
Thanks
Another amazing video.
Any tips for using this technique on small things like space marine guns? I'm having the hardest time getting NMM to work on Bolters
Super awesome! Super easy! Thanks!
Happy to help
Great video, thanks for an easy way to do steel nmm
Thanks
Awesome tutorial big guy! Thanks for making these, they are so helpful👍🏻
Looks great man, NMM and wet blending are 2 techniques I've really been struggling with. I think this way will help me, as stippling seems very forgiving. Thanks!
Happy to help
Great video! I really like not only the technique but the explanation as well. I used to do this combined with some glazes after the stippling, maybe going a bit faster and heavier while stippling but smoothing it out with a fast glazing.
Both ways its great for a ruined armour effect
Thanks!
Yeah both methods work and all techniques are better used combined
Great tutorial- end result is fantastic
Thanks
Love your videos. Thanks so much for sharing your abilities.
Need to try these tips. Very easy to follow!
Whoooo just in time for hobbytime❤
VIEWS FOR THE VIEWS GOD
WOW it looks awesome ! I préfère to paint my necrons army with traditional canoptek alloy and silver, but thanks for this Amazing work ! 👍
Thanks
Increíble Juan, enhorabuena ahora si un ejército de necrones así hay que echarle tiempo 😂 gracias por el vídeo.
Jajajaja pues un poco si
That’s was really great
Thanks
Somehow strikingly more guapo under this luz
I really love your videos dude, you are able to break down tricky techniques into small steps that i feel i can actually achieve Thanks to you i've been glazing and highlighting much better and am now learning NMM. thanks so much!!
Thanks I really appreciate it!
This fresh lighting bringing out allllll the forehead folds 😂🙏🔥
Gotta highlight my natural beauty
This looks like something you could use to make a very nice base for colored nmm schemes, perhaps by glazing over it very thinly with another color.
For example, that weird "japanese bleach bottle" blue-green on ur 025 from blackstone fortress. Do you think something like that would work? I assume you would have to go back and touch up the highlights and such
For sure! You would need to do the final highlights again though
Could you use this with just plain glazes (not stippling) to make the surface look more 'polished'?
Of course!
This is a fantastic way to do NMM!
Thanks
Freaking love your videos
Thanks
Hey Juan....Which of those brushes do you recommend on the rosemary page? For like detail, normal and stippling? I never quite know which ones to get. I think the ones I use the body is too thin.
Damn that is unreal!
Thanks
Me molan mucho estos vídeos "easy to", ha quedado muy guay esa pierna 👏👏👏
Gracias
actually yo stippling looks more fun than the usual blending I do wtf
It's super fun! I always encourage people to try different techniques. It might surprise you
Esto tiene una pinta increíble, ¡gracias por el tutorial!
Gracias
Muy buen trabajo, como siempre!
Gracias!
Yep. I need the Patreon now haha
Yes you do
@@JuanHidalgoMiniatures don’t worry I just signed up :)
@NashMcilroy YEAH
Damn.....I JUAN TO PAINT JUST LIKE YOU, BRRROOOOOTTHA!!!!
Do it!
Great vid as always! You are truely a master. What is the mini you use ? Thank you!!!
It's one of the Necron Lords I can't remember the name
Very well.I hope the next gold NMM, my teacher
I already did gold! It's episode 2
good job , thx for resumen👌👍
Happy to help
Awesome video ! Do you have a recipe for Bronze NMM with this technique ?
No, i haven't done bronze yet
What I really want to know is why when you use 1 to 1 thunder hawk and admin grey , you then go 3 to 1 thunder to black. Why isnt it a 1 to 1 ?
I think this is my main issue when selecting colours for techniques like this. I get confused , and end up messing it up. Many thanks
Because 1 to 1 thunder to black is way too dark. Simple as that
The figure is cool, what's the name of the model?
U r my bible
Thx u for video
Thanks for watching
That's awesome. I really enjoy watching these detailed technique videos whenever you make them! In fact a steel NMM tutorial is just what I was looking for. ...Wait are you watching me, too? 😶
Yes, I'm a sexier Santa Claus
@@JuanHidalgoMiniatures 🤣🤣🤣
this is cool
Thanks!
Would be nice to see the sketch stage taken to a wider area, back of the leg etc to see how it works
Where are the stockings for that smexy leg 😏😂
I just started stippling for my own minis, and oooh booooi i was missing out. Great video to get more people to try this
Yeah, it an amazing technique
I love stippling. I haven't had much success with NMM, maybe this technique will work for me.
Stppling with whites can be a pain tho, most whites are a little unforgiving about how thin they need to be.
Hope it helps you out
Love it
Thanks
Thank you for this tutorial! Definitely going to try it on my next mini; it's always been daunting to do NMM for me but watching your videos has made me wanna try it 😂
(By the way, what brush sizes do you usually use in these videos?)
Not sure but probably I was using a size 3 Windsor and Newton series 7 or a Rosemary (same size)
Great stuff. I just wish of a little bit of palette view, because the tough part of stippling for me is to make sure the paint is thin enough, but the brush is not too full of water, making the dots too big and wet. Yours is perfect, but we don't quite see the process. Maybe it involves a little too much licking for the youtube algorithm?
Lol, yeah. Also I suggest you watch my video on brush loading.
It's extremely difficult for me to record both things at the same time right now, sorry
Tianna Inlet
Me ha encantado
Gracias
I struggle with stippling. I don't know why but my results don't look like small dots as it should. It is more like a glaze result which is not what i want when i want to use stippling 😰
Try gentler touches or even less thinned down paint
Mmm metal
Tasty
For fuck's sake =) I can do this technique for skin, since it's basically the same steps with stippling. But NMM? Nope. Something does not click in my head for NMM =)))
But in any way, thank you very much for the guide. Guess I need to rewatch it a couple of times and make some test necrons ugly as eldars while trying to NMM them.
Also, the colors you picked. You now have a Robocop necron =)

Worst video ever. No brush licking. 🤪 Serious though, thanks for a good tutorial!
