Sometimes I sell my minis on Ebay, buy a new army and I buy exactly the same thing I sold on Ebay and I wonder to myself, "was that the same person who I sold to back then that I've just bought from ?"

Gryph-hounds from Aos are that thing for me. I could paint them over and over again. I magnetise the heads so I can mix and match those too. I just love them. Thanks for making me feel like I can share this 😂
I love that you called it a "Pile of Potential". I refer to mine as the "Pile of Possibilities". And yes, multiple boxes of one and the same model, especially the old ones (pewter), some of which are simply my favorites because they remind me of how I got into the hobby. Have a great hobbying weekend ahead, y'all!
@@Elorrah I think this heap here doesn't even fit into any closet I have. Hasn't for a long time, either. However, I'm just glad we're all not alone in this madness. 😂
I have 20-24 Kastelan Robots, 16+ still on the sprue. I just love the goofy lil guys, and like to build one every so often. You may judge me. I will not be taking questions at this time 🤪
Bloodthirsters are my muse. I have all of them and I’m considering getting more to get more creative with. Skarbrand is what set it off. I did such an amazing job on it I didn’t want to finish it because it kind of made me sad. So I set him aside 99.999% completed and started going through bloodthirsters with different tones and colors for the skin and wings, some with all armor some with the bare minimum. I just love them I don’t know why.
Adam on stream: " I wouldn't talk about new Killteam being bad Killteam" Adam in the next video: "Btw. Here is my cool kt18 project that was ruined by kt21" Kinda justified. Your ork is cool af and I was stunned when I saw it back in the day. Hope that your will play with him in the OPR.
You mean adam in one video "this is why i hate GW and warhammer" Adam in the next video "so this is why i keep buying the exact same mini from these guys i hate" Tell me how much you buy into the parasocial realtionship buddy.
@@DaClaptain I don't know that parasocial really fits. I think a lot of us have a real love-hate thing going on with GW, and I'm sure it's even more complicated for somebody who does hobby content as a source of income. I personally have two AoS armies that are kind of perpetually in progress, and my feelings about GW fluctuate based on how much I'm enjoying the hobby process with those. When I'm off of them, I get a lot of skirmish warbands built and painted. Right now I'm mainlining Quar. In a few weeks, I'll be back to batch-painting Steelhelms.
@@DaClaptain Looks like it's YOU who is in weird parasocial validation loop of 'lemming rush hating since it's cool now' because it's totally possible to dislike company rules and selling practices but still consider minis as best on market. Projecting much?
I started in the hobby recently though a magazine subscription for Sigmar. Since the first issues were cheaper I bought them 3 times. My reasoning was to use them to get better at painting. It worked (I'd say) painting the same model allows for experimentation and improvement
Those ambot minis are so good for orks! I bought three packs to make a full unit of converted meganobz, the meganob weapons that you get plenty spare of fit very well on them with minimal chopping and changing. I don't tend to buy lots of copies of the same mini for conversion fodder, but I do have a tendency to hoard commemorative models that GW put out, and a lot of them end up being used in conversions.
This is the old box dreadnought for me. I bought two of them before they got discontinued, a venerable, an ironclad, 3x blood angels, 2x space wolves (need one more), and some... er... "extremely similar to discontinued FW model" dreadnoughts. (I'd prefer to buy them legitimately but GW hasn't made that possible in years so...). They're all BASICALLY the same thing, but I just love all the little details and customisation you can do on them and have them all painted differently for different chapters. I need to buy one of the new Dark Angels units so I can get the new transfer sheet to decorate a couple of mortis dreadnoughts with DA successor chapter icons.
Another positive of having more of the same: experimentation and not putting off painting it or modifying it out of fear of not choosing the «right» mod or the «right» paint scheme - if I only have *one* of a thing I might do *nothing* if I feel uncertain it’s the «right» thing
Lord of Plague is an awesome mini. I’ve painted one for an event that was being run at my now closed GW store and thoroughly enjoy painting him. Would like to pick another one and paint him again as I’ve now bought some glazes and been trying them out. Lords of Blights is also awesome and might just to pick one of them up.
Thanks for shouting out Dragon Fall. That event deserves more exposure. I only buy dupes for the purposes of adding or expanding units. My mountain is already so full of minis (including lots of interesting characters) I'd love to paint and bits for kitbashing that buying more of a given character seems silly. Despite my love of big armies, If given the chance I'd almost always prefer to paint something new.
I'd imagine that fear of missing out (FOMO) drives many purchases for people. Particularly when you are at a store, convention or otherwise not at home where you can survey your collection.
@Sephvion haha it's one of them things that I've seen it & I wonder 'what does that mean?' But then something else happens/enters my mind & I forget until I next see it then the cycle happens again...but now it is answered!
I think I watched my first tabletop minions video when I was like 12 and now I’m 20! I remember seeing your videos in the suggested tab after watching some miniwargaming AoS batrep and I was always so daunted by the hobby as a whole but your beginner friendly vibe and viewpoint helped me make the jump into a hobby that has been such a blessing in my life, and I can’t thank you enough for doing that, for me and for the countless other people who you have helped decide to join the hobby in one way or another.
Ambots are absolutely one of the best kits GW has come out with. They give you two extra pairs of legs in each box. I made myself a whole set of more mechanical obliterators with them.
Gryph-Hounds. I want a legion of them painted in different Bird/Dog combinations. Cardinal/Rottweiler, Cockatiel/Golden Retriever, Parakeet/Dalmatian, etc. I already have two boxes, but I don't have anywhere to put them after I paint them, and I'm not at the skill level to paint them how I want yet anyway, so I'm good with just collecting them for now.
For me when I see a really good deal on the 5th edition multipart Empire State troops it’s hard to resist. I’ve got four boxes so far… also the 6th edition command sprue. I’ve got four of those as well.
I have several minis like this, I’ve bought several older pewter models from my youth to repaint with current skills. I have multiple copies of the 6th Chaos Marine Aspiring Champion, each converted to a different god of chaos and one undivided. It’s the model that turned my loyalist heart to the wonders of the warp. I’ve bought and converted 4 different versions of Typhus as well. This is an excellent video
This is exactly why I have an excel sheet dedicated to what minis I have and want, helps with moderating my spending as well, if its not on the sheet I dont impulse buy, highly recommend
I know the feeling. I have 26 Blightlord Terminators: 4 squad boxes and 2 Lord Felthius boxes. I don't even play. I just love the sculpts of these models and enjoy building, modding, and painting them.
I usually get multiple boxes, even the large army boxes. I tell myself I am only 3 years from retirement and then I can work on my great mountain of plastic and metal models. Easily I have several thousands of figures to build and paint. Drives the wife crazy but she knows I am crazy! Love the show ad wait for every show on Friday morning. Thanks!
The first plastic daemon prince was my habitual buy. Other than making 3 winged and 3 foot daemon princes, I've turned it into a "greater wulfen" that counts as a thunder wolf for my chaos space wolf forces. The stupid part: I couldn't justify buying more to make more counts as thunderwolves, as it would be about double the price to make 3 vs buying the thunderwolf cavalry kit. Yet I bought another for another conversion.
Can’t really describe how much your videos have gotten me through the last month. Really enjoying this new hobby and especially watching your videos. Cheers!
The Free Mini of the month for october was of a similar vibe of the first model Warhammer AoS mini I'd seen painted on a youtube video that pushed me to get into Warhammer models. So I got a couple extras so I can make some extra dudes, and I'll probably use them as nondescript knights in a dnd campaign. They night mostly end up in the same pose, but that Bear Fur cloak is just so cool, that I don't mind if everyone has one.
One thing I quickly picked up from Adam Savage, is to always have materials and supplies on hand for when inspiration strikes. Nothing will kill your momentum for an exciting project faster than having to search for, find, buy, and wait for a bunch of stuff. At the same time, I realized one of my biggest inhibitions to building or painting a model was 'but what if I screw it up'. Not to mention, I'd always get the most inspiration for what to do with a model kit, while I was building it. This prompted me to generally buy more than one of a kit; I'd feel safe knowing I had a spare if I screwed something up, and if another cool idea strikes that required me to do something different from the start, I could immediately start on it. It's been a huge help for me actually building and painting models to buy spares. I've since found out that several modelers (especially professional modelers, who build for museums, commissions, or the like) I know on youtube or elsewhere do exactly the same thing. Especially if it's a more niche model that may cease production (I bought several duplicates of Bandai's Star Wars vehicles, for example). I follow a few professional modelers who will go buy a stack of a particular kit if it strikes them, using the extras to try different methods on certain sections, or as backups when inevitably something goes wrong. This is often because they are altering or improving the model itself.. either kitbashing it into something new, or just making changes to increase its accuracy. So, because of all this, I always buy the same kits. More often for vehicles than figures.. but figures are certainly not immune. For example, I've bought at least 3 Storm Ravens. Maybe 4? I hate the Storm Raven as it's supposed to be built.. but the shape is immensely inspiring for conversions for me. Just look at the Storm Eagle and Fire Raptor. I'm currently designing and building a transport variant, of it, like the Sky Talon (RIP), which has me wanting to buy yet another kit so I can try my hand at something more akin to a Storm Eagle. On top of this, I have an actual Fire Raptor kit, and have been impatiently waiting for another Storm Eagle production run. The Baneblade, Imperial Knights, Valkyrie and other kits fall into this bucket as well. But in summary, if you haven't, consider buying duplicates of your next kit. You may realize how much it helps your modeling anxiety, inspiration, and if nothing else, add some fun parts to your bits box.
I buy a box of Frostgrave Wizards (1 or 2) about every year. I give a sprue (or part of it) of them to new painters so they have loads of arms, heads, and stuff to add to all sorts of other models.
@@Christian_from_Copenhagen I indoctrinate people into kitbashing. Often the people I try to get into it are more likely to make D&D characters than wargame stuff.
Great video! You love the hobby, you enjoy playing and painting, you support the hobby through playing, attending conventions, and buying products from the manufacturers- you are why the hobby continues to exist- without you, many manufacturers would disappear before a new gamer ever gets to enter the hobby- a definite ALPHA gamer!
Watching the video now, and maaaaybe you are aware of it already, but the next group of orcs are Nobs and tank busters, so those are totally perfect for that team! Now is the perfect time to give the new edition and coop mode a shot!
I thought I was the only one who did this. I have several copies of my favorites saved for a rainy day. Just models that I enjoy painting that I own and can paint whenever I feel like it. Great channel by the way.
I haven't gotten to the point of duplicate buying yet but give it time. I want to say thank you for your channel. I attempted painting several years ago with age of sigmar. Went out bough the stormcast/khorne set and then..painted maybe 5 before I shelved it and eventually sold it. After watching some of your videos and taking it slower I've found painting to be therapeutic for me. I don't even play warhammer (too dumb to understand the rules) but love the lore, looks, and everything else. I just enjoy painting and it's from the hlep I got watching yours, and other's guides.
I don't have the space to store too much extras, and I have trouble finding the time to paint what I have. More power to people that do though. I'd love to have a workshop full of bits and kits and a solid weekend to work on them.
I do too for various reasons. One is I have four new Typhus models because I failed to convert him three times so now they're just bits. Got two of the old Typhus too because I got a resin but then got a metal one because I prefer metal, same for Setra and Khalida. I also recently bought two boxes of Sepulchral Stalkers/Necropolis Knights only to find I already bought one set, so I've got nine. I've also painted three Archaons, Lords of the End Times (the horse version); one painted for a friend in his black armour, red trim scheme from 6th edition, one for myself in his storm of chaos scheme of grey armour, and a third resin one that I'm going to use the horse only as a part of a scenic piece for my Archaon on foot. Also depression :'D
I have 4 Assault on Black Reach Warbosses; one is built standard, the other 3 are all kit bashed - it is such a great starting point for a hero. I also have 3 copies of the Orruk Warchanter; again one is built standard and the other two are kit bashed. The Rat Ogres from the Blood Stone Pass boxed set also hold a special place in my heart for kit bashing - I made 6 Nurgle Obliterators from them.
My favorite model ever is the Necron Void Dragon. I loved building it and how the chaotic lightning parts perfectly came together in the end and painting it was a blast (i'd bei happy to share a picture). But since it's a very specific model and hard to kitbash, i won't get a second one.
I feel that, I have 9 rhinos and 6 Land Raiders just for my CSM. And currently I am building my Tyranid swarm and I am buying small bugs left and right, whatever it is.. any X-gant, genestealer, gargoyle.. doesn´t matter, just adding and adding, painting and painting.
Whenever I print a batch of minis from one of the Patreons I sub to I usually print a few extra bits. Those bits have made up some of my favorite models over the years
Timely video for me. I just bought a second Tau combat patrol (the older one with Ghostkeel) because I forgot I had one... and this past weekend picked up another Cadre Fireblade. :) For me, painting a model a few times allows me to play with color and show improvement over time.
That Lord of Plagues/Nurgle Chaos Lord model is so damn great. It's from Sept 2011 and you can really see all the design choices, themes and features that Games WOrkshop sculptors would carry forward to future Nurgle releases in The End Times, Age of Sigmar and even 40k with the Death Guard. There was a wave of plastic single model character releases around this time, some of them still sold today for $20 and they hold up incredibly well, the Lord of Plagues the best of them. It's just so bizarre because June 2011 was when GW introduced Finecast, not just converting metal models to resin finecast, but also producing NEW models in resin finecast. I find it fairly interesting.
I've often bought 2 or 3 copies of the same miniature, either because I just liked it, or because it had bits that I wanted or could use to bash with other models. I admittedly look for cheaper or used-but-new versions when I buy multiples, but if I want more than one of a single mini _NOW_ I just get them concurrently. As far as introspective content, I think it's good to view on occasion. I think we all experience the self-evaluation of How? and Why? of miniature collecting, and hearing what other hobbyists' insight can be helpful, if not downright cathartic.
I really don't have duplicate models saved for kitbashes but I have built 60 necron warriors. I saw them come out and loved the new sculpts so I bought into the whole line because of those models. They did a great job with how they build and I just enjoyed doing it. Now I just need to paint them. I've got 10 done but 50 to go. Plus a whole army to paint at some point. I like the buying and building more than painting for now but painting has been more and more fun as I get to it.
Ogryns are my favourite unit in all of 40k . I have 18 of them and some unbuilt. I absolutely love the models and the lore behind them. I also want at some point to make a Gav and Bob diorama
Im aiming to have 100 of the monopose ork boyz, so i can do a squad of 10 with each pose. Im new and have enjoyed painting these periodically and watching my improvement over the last year and a bit. I like that they are familiar. The bigger question for me is if i keep going when i get to 100. At 50 now, have a feeling ill be happy to be done if i get there.
I don't go deep on the same model, but I go wide on cool models that fire up my imagination. I rarely do much with them, but as long as I own them, it's possible for me to get to them. I AM running out of space, though 😅
Personally, I'd say Midhammer space marine and ork models definitely fit into that category (up to and especially including monopose ones from 3rd-6th ed. Starter boxes), doesn't matter if i have 100 tactical multipart and monopose marine bodies or half a dozen black reach warbosses, or a handful of dark vengeance librarians etc. etc. Etc., when you combine these two types of models, they are probably the most modular kits GW made and will likely ever make plus they give you access to a ton of nice unique bits (i.e. dark vengeance models for dark angels players like myself) so if you're not too worried about base sizes and all that or play older versions of the game and so on, it allows you to really kitbash and go hog wild with conversions of all sorts and really make some cool stuff without spending too much on already expensive GW plastic crack. Great video, Adam, cheers!
I have done this with Steelhelms from AoS. I have what i need for my army, plus some extras in case i ever need more... and then I have a couple unbuilt sprues just for mini agnostic purposes. I've yet to find anything I can print that hits the same notes for me, so I just keep a box of them on a shelf. They're my go-to starting point for mini-agnostic fantasy soldiers/guards/mercenary types.
The Lord of Plagues is the first model I went try hard on. took 25 hours to paint, at the time i was only months into painting and it felt awesome! definitely need more
U.A. in case you didn't know..there are two gangs in necromunda that are miniature agnostic. They are venators and outcasts. Venators are more skilled while the outcasts are numerous (lower credit costed). They don't have cool house advantages but they can be chaos corrupted. This tends to level the field and hey who doesn't like dark rituals...
This was a great video! I've recently been very interesting in kitbashing and in a similar vein I've just been wanting to put Scythes on everything. So instead of grabbing the same model it's a case of constantly buying scythe bits and slapping them on every model that makes sense to do so.
As far as i know i dont have duplicates, but i have learned not to open the shrink wrap until im actually going to build and paint models. Makes it a great deal easier to sell them later if i decide not to use them.
I've never had much interest in stockpiling duplicate sculpts in the past, tbh, but (after some practice) I have really gotten in to digital kitbashing and even reposing models for 3D printing. Every model you print after the first one is _free_ after all haha Interesting topic and cool minis! Thanks for sharing!
I've stocked up on the HQ models from the starter boxes in these last editions 40k. The Lord of Contagion, the Captain in Gravis, Necron Overlord etc. I mean, sooner or later there will be a new HQ release that you can just kitbash up. (Lord of virulence, Captain with X, Overlord with Translocation cloak). So good to have a few more fancy models laying around. I got them second hand though, because for some reason those models tend to be part of a 10 model HQ kit further down the line.
I think it is about making plans. Making plans for a new force is part of the fun in the hobby. And buying stuff for the plans you made is the next logical step. But it is an easy step too. Finally we end up with stuff for our plans. (So I think unbuild/unpainted forces belong to the same category like what you talked about.) And often you just paint one or two minis and then get distracted by some new shiny stuff. And start making plans... so it goes on and on... 😉 It is not a shame. It is just the way it works. And to be honest: It is fun!.
It's funny that your favourites are mostly from the early plastic character range put out for fantasy and 40k. They all hold up really well in my opinion
The Leagues of Votan Kahl is one of those models for me. I'm a veteran of the Rogue Trader era/ first edition of 40K and I still have my old Squats army from back then so Leagues of Votan are my favourite Army . I have dabbled in other factions but Votan are my guys. The Harlequins' Death Jester Is another. And the Officio Prefectus Commisar is another one too. So yeah I understand this phenomenon very very much.
I have two copies of 40k Tor Garadon and never made him by the book. One of them is an Iron Warriors Lord, and the other one was recently kitbashed into a Dark Angels Captain. The model itself is a great base for a commander conversion. I also have (at least) two duplicates of Warhammer Underworlds warbands, because I just wanted to convert one of them, and paint the other one in my more up to date color scheme. BTW, you can still play Kill Team 18 and field your Orc Boss, GW Police won’t come to get you ;) (I still play the 18 eidition, haven’t played 21, and I’m looking forward to getting into the new one now)
That commisar is so adaptable I gave one a pistolier horse and now he's a Rough Rider commisar. Given how many GW minis are monopose nowadays, I don't see much difference between doing this and having two boxes set of the same troops kit, for those worried about variety.
There's an alguacil hacker from the Infinity range that I've used for conversions at least three times. Just love the head for a swap. Can't imagine not having a spare for the next model I want to change the face on
Those Ambots are AMAZEBALLS. They ARE really versatile for just about any game! I’m going to get another kit and try to recast using Blue Stuff the main body because then you can produce more out of the kit, I think. They’d be great for custom Blackstone Fortress baddies like Spindle Drone-infected bots or something, and the possibilities are endless.
I have had a built Lord of Plagues for ages that has never been used. I got him in a lot that was mostly random bits. I think he will get painted this weekend. Hes got that medieval Jason Vorhees vibe and I dig it.
Access in my country is terrible. I have no stores in a few hundred miles range. I never ocasionally run into models to buy stuff of an impulse or maybe forgot I had it. I only have a couple duplicates because I thought a delivery went sour but it actually arrived home couple months later. I fell bad about my "backlog of potential" (hahahaha love it) so I try to keep it under control. Loved the video as always Uncle! ❤
Sounds like uncle Atom, myself and a few other people need to copy mystery bag painting challenges of Goobertown hobbies. Pick a mini at random, use a randomizer to pick a professional/college sports team logo for a random color scheme & get painting.
I have a passion for tanks, and dreadnoughts, so I built and painted some and I have some, still to build and paint, but there are some minis like the old white metal death guard champions, that makes me want to buy some more
I've bought multiples of numerous models, often because I'd forgotten that I already owned them. Some have been deliberate, either because I wanted to modify one or more of them, and some because I'd thought someday to resell the extras and wound up keeping them.
I'm just SUCH a slow painter and I dip in and out of this hobby so much, that any and all kits are overwhelming to me. I want aggressors, I'd love infiltrators/snipers, I want those new chaos armiger knight thingies... and I haven't even looked at any releases in like the past 2 years. I still have nearly an entire Nurgle Harbingers box to put together and paint as well lmao....
I do this too, but only for models that I painted a while ago and what to be able to have another attempt with my newly acquired skills. I will never strip a model unless I absolutely have to.
Always love seeing more Necromunda! At least you have some fun minis to build and paint for the first time. For me I often pick up the inexpensive GW minis like the 40k gretchin, any Age of Sigmar characters (dark elf sorceress and necromancer are other good picks) & common paint I thought I was almost out of (finding 2-4 unopened ones at home). I try to keep track of the minis I buy with a Google doc but it only works if I update it.
The Van Saar gang box has been amazing for Mass Effect kitbashes. Only box I've bought twice outside of army building. I'm now eyeing up a SoH Heresy army but likely duplicates will be two Contemptor dreads to run one with two fists and the other be a fire support platform. I dread to think if I get the "full army" bug cos that is lots of power armour to clear space for!
That's very cool and seems fun that you have this stock to pull from as the mood hits you. That would drive me insane. For me, an unbuilt, unpainted mini is like wasted inventory in a company. An asset that is just consuming space and not available for use. I have a fair amount of bits, but no unbuilt minis, at this time. The only unpainted minis i currently own are a box of American Civil War 6mm that I'm working on. Buy it, build it, paint it. Those ambots are an awesome set. I'll buy duplicates, for similar reasons you do. But when I'm ready to do the thing I'm buying them for. I'm envious that you have a stock to draw from and are ok with that.
Never had a problem of having duplicates, just started a primaris battle company of about 100 figures not to mention the 6 other marine battle companies I have going back to rogue trader rtb01s.
I usually don't buy duplicates, but sometimes it happens that I have the same miniature twice (gifts, purchase of collections etc). It is always a nice motivation to get some kitbashing going.
Multiple mini copies doesnt seem weird to me, HOWEVER i do think you should magnetize if the reason for a particular copy is to achieve a WYSIWYG loadout
What i did with that Sanctus model is Built the sniper one as is, and then took the knife from him and built it on a standard Neophyte body with some extra big fingers I cut off an old Chaos Mutation sprue hand on his other hand as I needed both a Sniper and KNife version of him for my Wyrmblade kill team but can only field one of the two at a time.
I remember going out to get the 8th edition WHFB orc and goblin book, getting it home and poping it in my desks top drawer to read later... there was one in there alredy that Id bought some other time!
Grognard games! Man, i miss that shop... both the rosell and batavia locations are great. Unfortunately, I moved away, but anytime im visiting family, I make a point of visiting them. I still haven't found a shop as good as them.
I keep buying more Reductus saboteur s for my genestealer cult. I'm in the process of converting a wide range of imperial models into a genestealer corrupted rogue trader crew, and have done various GS necromunda warbands with more planned. That requires a lot of head swaps, but female heads are extremely lacking in the GS range. The saboteur comes with two, and you can easily give them a malebor gas masked head instead with no issues to leave both spare. I must have four or five now and keep building the wuth hand swaps to give them different weapon loadouts to change the silhouette a bit. Not sure how many I'll end up with by the end of this project.
Excellent video Dude. I do this multiple copies of the same model thing with models I can see multiple kitbashing options (like the thanatar and the contemptor achillus (?). Like you said, "if it makes you happy".
I can’t afford to buy many minis but I did save up for a 3d printer and if I rack like an stl set, I’ll print it multiple times to build it different ways!

And yes, multiple boxes of one and the same model, especially the old ones (pewter), some of which are simply my favorites because they remind me of how I got into the hobby.
Have a great hobbying weekend ahead, y'all!
The "Closet of Potential" is what I've always called it. It grew WAY bigger than a pile long, long ago.
I will not be taking questions at this time 🤪
I would love to see those lovely tin cans on a tabletop battlefield!
Castellan robots are simplistic but lovely
Bloodthirsters are my muse. I have all of them and I’m considering getting more to get more creative with. Skarbrand is what set it off. I did such an amazing job on it I didn’t want to finish it because it kind of made me sad. So I set him aside 99.999% completed and started going through bloodthirsters with different tones and colors for the skin and wings, some with all armor some with the bare minimum. I just love them I don’t know why.
The Tzaangor Shaman is my comfort mini, Adam. Don't feel bad we all have one.
Adam on stream: " I wouldn't talk about new Killteam being bad Killteam"
Adam in the next video: "Btw. Here is my cool kt18 project that was ruined by kt21"
Kinda justified. Your ork is cool af and I was stunned when I saw it back in the day. Hope that your will play with him in the OPR.
You can actually kitbash 2 extra mega armor orks out of this bots
Well, that was KT21, not the new KT24. So loophole.
You mean adam in one video "this is why i hate GW and warhammer"
Adam in the next video "so this is why i keep buying the exact same mini from these guys i hate"
Tell me how much you buy into the parasocial realtionship buddy.
You can never have enough of the old boxy dreads!
Holy crapzilla....that is what FOMO means! Thank you! You have answered a question I have wondered for years! Have a great day!
It’s happened too often for me 😀 oh life.
I bought a loooot of classic scouts and dreadnought...
@@danharris8805You never googled that acronym? That's... odd. But good that you now know.
I'm very glad the videos have helped you. Thanks for watching!
0:13 that’s good so we can see the video at night or in low visibility environments.
Sounds like you and Vince need to create a game about Orks!
It's Death Guard for me too. I'm not currently playing either, but I love building and kitbashing them.
Thanks!
Beware of SABLE...
"The nebulous far future..." That's where most of my armies exist. But yes duplicates are fantastically useful.
Cheers!
I’m glad to hear they help. Thanks for watching!
Hobby hero move!
I'm just imagining a kitbash of the lord of plagues, but just replacing the helmet head with a really pretty-boy head with an enormous pompadour.
Watching the video now, and maaaaybe you are aware of it already, but the next group of orcs are Nobs and tank busters, so those are totally perfect for that team! Now is the perfect time to give the new edition and coop mode a shot!
The soulblight witght king on foot is probably the best model ever. I have 3 myself.
I do it with Battletech Miniatures all the time. I paint a lot of different units. Each one may need a Urbanmech, or 3, and Locusts, etc.
0:13 key phrase “most just because I’m weird” I am currently building my Korn Old World army which will be my first army
I was soo hoping for a "TAU FOR SALE" clip to be in there 🤣
Also, I loved that Ork/AMBOT conversion. Seems a shame he's never got to kill da baddeez
This is the way of madness, I'm all for it 😅
This was a great video!
Thanks for sharing a few of your favorite sculpts and minis.
That GW Necromancer became my first Necromancer for Deth Wizards 🤘🤘
I understand your love for the lord of plaugues; I'm currently painting my Putrid Blightkings and I'm having a blast!
Those are great models, too. Painted a bunch of those for Warcry, too. Thanks for watching!
Uncle Atom + a Grognards shout out = a great hobby Friday! Gotta love it when your favorite gaming streamer mentions your FLGS!
The first wave of plastic characters for Warhammer from ca 2010 was featured many times as conversions in white dwarf at that time
It's funny that your favourites are mostly from the early plastic character range put out for fantasy and 40k.
BTW, you can still play Kill Team 18 and field your Orc Boss, GW Police won’t come to get you ;) (I still play the 18 eidition, haven’t played 21, and I’m looking forward to getting into the new one now)
I’m trying to find as many original metal beasts of Nurgle. It was the epitome of the lore description of the model
I find it to the great thing about rank and flank units you can paint the same guy if you want 20 or 30 times...
Pick a mini at random, use a randomizer to pick a professional/college sports team logo for a random color scheme & get painting.
that wight king rocks!
“Whatever makes you happy” is the golden rule of hobbying! 😊
Never had a problem of having duplicates, just started a primaris battle company of about 100 figures not to mention the 6 other marine battle companies I have going back to rogue trader rtb01s.
I have multiple boxes of the 40K Dominion boxset, SM lieutenants, and so much more. Love to kitbash
I feel like having two of everything is always a good thing. One just incase if I mess up the first, always got one new in box to try again.
This is me with the new Terminators and the Bladeguard. They are perfect for conversions and the odd painting project
