    My jaw dropped when I saw you breakout the stain on that beautiful burl, BUT the result is stunning. Thanks for introducing, and taking the risk.

      Hahaha you’re welcome. I was worried and anxious about doing it too lol. In fact I procrastinated doing it for about 3 days. Glad I did!

    That turned out perfect, Epps. I love the coloration, the shape, and how thin you got those walls done. Thanks for sharing.

    Pure and simple this is just one beautiful piece! I would love to get inside your mind to see how you go about choosing your colours. Explaining your thought process on video about how you decide colours would be great. Anyone who says you “ruined” this burl is a grinch.😁

    • @EppsCreations
      @EppsCreations  2 года назад

      Love it! Lol. Yea I guess it’s that time of year for the grinch to come out being Christmas and all lol. But I’m working to make improvements in my videos and try and be a little more “in the moment” explaining things better.

    Really nice form and finish man, love the colors, really cool you made it a hollow form so you can show off the grain and epoxy on the top, freaking awesome!!! ✌️❤️🍻🖖

      Thank you!
      Yea when I pulled it out of the pressure pot I was hooked on how the top looked so I went for a flat top. Was nervous about dying it but it worked out!

    That may be the highest gloss I've ever seen.
    You should really be wearing white gloves when holding it.

    Beautiful! The gloss finish is really pretty. When you turn a bowl with this small of an opening, how thick do you leave the walls?

    • @EppsCreations
      @EppsCreations  2 года назад

      This one ran a little this. Top is about 1/8” bottom is about 3/8”. I’ll leave the bottoms thicker for center of gravity and structure

    Did you use a pressure pot or let it cure by itself? Any bubble issues? Beautiful piece!

    • @EppsCreations
      @EppsCreations  2 года назад

      I always use a pressure pot. Unless the epoxy is a deep pour you need one for any depth above 1/2”. But deep pour takes to long to cure with low exotherm so I never use it.

    First time watching one of your videos. I like the music, but your camera approach is terrible. It's so hard to see what's happening with the turning. With all of the tools in your shop, you must have someplace to hold the camera in one place. It was like a caffeinated child with a camera. Oh, I see that at the end you found a camera stand. I almost didn't make it there.

    • @EppsCreations
      @EppsCreations  2 года назад +1

      Lol well I let my gf run the camera one night. Bit of a learning curve. She wanted to help so we gave it a go. But I normally use a camera stand

      Mr LaBelle I do not see any videos on your process on how you do things. So I do not have the honor of seeing how one as yourself who is just full of constructive criticism would do such things. And being that this is my channel and just how I do things, I just cannot believe one who is full of such knowledge would just be ugly in a derogatory way. Now since that isn’t the case, because you just wouldn’t be being ugly for no reason, are you ok? Does life have you down?

    I'd give a like for this video but the camera moving THE WHOLE TIME...... SUCKS !!!!!
    I want to watch but I just can't.
    It's WAY too much movement.
