Did you ever pick up a shift at Blizzard Beach? That will be my merchandise location for the DCP this summer/fall. I thought I would ask! I plan on picking up and trading shifts so this video was super helpful! Thank you!
I did not, I believe there was special training needed there? There was definitely some reason I wasn’t able to I just don’t remember what it was lol
Hey! I’m a fellow cp this year at Disney Springs, I’ve been talking to a few of my fellow cps, and apparently were only allowed to pick up shifts at other locations and not trade? I don’t know if that’s true or if it’s a rumor-
Definitely wasn’t the case when I was there! Depending on your location you may not be able to trade if your area requires special training
Hi! How soon after training were you able to trade shifts? Were you able to trade instantly or did you have to stay at your home location for a little while first? Thank you!
As soon as you finish training you can but I definitely recommend staying at your home location for at least 2 weeks to try and learn the job better. Each location tho similar is still a little different and it’s going to be realllllyyyyy stressful at a new location if you don’t 100% know what you’re doing yet
Is it true that u get free pins when you start working at Disney in merchandise
You get pins as part of your costume. You are supposed to have 12 pins on your lanyard at all times. They are company owned pins and you need to give them back when you finish your program.

Wait so you could literally trade shifts with people without them knowing? All you need is there HUB ID? You said they don’t have to confirm on their end.
In theory yes. But if they report you doing that to a leader you will get In a ton of trouble
