Congratulations Fraser!! And thank you for the mention! It’s been a joy to help in any way and your enthusiasm is infectious. Thanks to you and others we are definitely seeing a worldwide interest in the possibilities for the king of the instruments. I can wait to see what you will dream up next and personally look forward to learning some theater organ basics from you!!!
Merci Maître! There's no stopping me now!
Glad you got a mention, Jerry: your generosity and enthusiasm and knowledge really enhance the world of the organ. Bravo!
An organ built in 2021, nice👌🏾😎never thought I’d see the day. The king of instruments lives on!!
Great to follow you along your journey. It was worth it, wasn’t it? Now there’s no reason to leave home 🏠 😂
There are still a lot of exciting instruments out there to be explored - don't worry, we'll be out and about visiting new instruments again soon!
Glad to see you acknowledged, James. You do a huge amount to promote the world of the organ. And supporting Fraser is just one of the many things you do that really makes a difference. Bravo!
So glad to see it all come together. Now we can enjoy everything you care to throw at us during these distressing times. Congratulations and stay safe!
Fraser: It makes me SO HAPPY to see you enthralled and so happy with your beautiful instrument ... very, very well done, and I'm so proud to have been a teedly-peedly part of your dream, which must be amazing you and will remain amazing you and tingling your spine bone for years, and years to come. What an experience. Bless you and all MY favourite Hauptwerk Gurus.
Wow! The Hauptwerk organ looks and sounds lovely. Looking forward to hearing more of it.
The return of Gartshore! The revival of Hauptwerk organ! Good job man.
It’s really good to see the project all complete now. It’s been interesting following your progress with this and the results are most impressive! I know I criticized you for painting it black, but I take it all back; it’s really beautiful.
Congratulations! It's wonderful to see how your instrument has come together. Many of the same names you mentioned-Piotr, Jerry, James-are well-known to me and have helped me as I've been on my own Hauptwerk journey (so far, I just have two manuals). I'm delighted you found people in Europe to help you with the hardware, too!
I am so happy that your Hauptwerk is finally completed. Still I hope you'll continue your real-world organ presentations that you did before the plague struck us.
So happy for you! Looking forward to the amazing content coming soon!
Can't wait for your Vids... Congrats indeed!
Excellent video, Fraser. Thank you!😀
Sound is perfectly clear as though sitting in the cathedral itself.
Wow! Thanks for the Franck! Problem is... now I want an Hauptwerk... :)
I like your straight and simple setup a lot! It's all you need.
The console is beautiful! Congratulation on getting it finished.
It took me a moment to realize that the moving bar graph display on the top right of your computer screen was actually your head blocking a reflection from a window shade. 😄
"Es ist vollbracht!"
Glückwunsch zu Deinem neuen Lieblingsplatz! Viel Freude damit!!!
Liebe Grüße, Stephan
Glad to see the organ is up and running. The football team is Ross County as I also am a fan and stay in Inverness.
Amazing!! When you played the Bach excerpt, I was quite astonished to hear the "trap" sounds. I could almost visualize the incredible mechanics of an old baroque organ.
Donnerwetter👍🙏
So exciting to see the fruits of your efforts.
Awesome! And what an easy way to answer my earlier comment about a video compilation showcasing the difference in sound between various styles of organs.
That’s fantastic! Love the sound!
Wonderful! :))) The Nancy Chatedral's organ is really magnifient with the cca. 7 sec. accoustic! ...but I like theatre organ sample sets too! ;)
Wonderful, you deserve it!. I am just working on my own virtual organ setup, but I am ages far from that point yet
This is amazing and Bach is my favorite. Your organ is really amazing that I want to get one !
The theater organ is also nice ... 👍
Well done Fraser from a fellow Celt 🏴! My HW should be coming soon........
Awesome! It's beautiful!
Sorry I haven’t been commenting so lately, and wonderful job with making this happen!
Wonderful .....would love to have the music for the last composition . Just wonderful Thankyou
Very very good! But now can you play ‘beside the seaside’ on the Wurlitzer 😘.
It’s sunny after all!
So delightful!
Finally, a language i can understand! 😁
@@alexandrusimo899 Yes, and there remains a difference between understanding a language and "knowing how to" it! 😉 😂
Hi Frazer, looking forward to more classical and cinema organ video’s. The organ looks fantastic and the sound is tremendous. Well done you! Cheers.
Great sound!
Is a good speaker system in the future? A good subwoofer would do some justice to those 32 footers.
But besides that, congratulations! I have been enjoying the journey, and it is finally over :’)
perhaps - but I believe the recordings are made via a direct line rather than a mic w/ speakers ...
Wowww Fantastic
lieber Fraser!!
sehr imposant.. ein wundervoller Klang
Gruß aus Argentinien
Ross County! (My local team too!!)
Congrats, Fraser!!! 🌺💕😊 But please, no cuppa by the keyboards & computer… I feel faint!!😳
05:22 I have a mug with a similar image - except it has an inscription to Santa so I guess it must be a reindeer.
It's A Bird? It's A Plane? It's SuperGartshore...
(and a HauptwerkOrgan)
I hope you have good neighbours! :)
I not! Leider-Leider! Euer Peter.
Very nice console, Fraser! By the way, how is the Marienstadt work going on?
It looks great! But you’re still missing a nice headphone stand for those headphones!
Fraser, you have beautiful small studio speakers. Can you tell me which type those are?
I was wondering the same thing
👏👏👏👏
That is quite the instrument and it looks great too. I was wondering if we hear what you hear on your headphones? Do the speakers we see also give the audio or are they turned off? Just curious.👍👍🙄🇨🇦
Hi Fraser,
Which keyboards did you order and how do you like them? Any comments on how they feel?
Thanks!
Bravo maestro - I totally enjoy your performances and look forward to them. -- I am an organ enthusiast and beginner [at 74 years old 😄] I converted a Rodgers 769 to MIDI and run Hauptwerk with a 27” iMac with a Touch screen attachment. This enables me to touch the stop tabs and draw knobs on the iMac screen instead of using a mouse to activate them. I am not sure of the availability of this product but thought I might send this information to you if you want to do some research. The product attaches to the front of the computer screen magnetically and connects with a USB connection. The product name is Zorro Macsk Series designed for iMac,just plug this touchscreen into iMac with USB,you will have a touch screen iMac in 10 seconds.Product is applicable to iMac 21.5" and 27". - thanks again for sharing your wonderful gift with us.

Bitte zeige uns ein paar Nahaufnahmen vom Spieltisch! lg Manuel
This Wooden keyboard case is so nice, where can I get that?
Don't know what makes people press thumbs down on this, but anyway: Congratulations! Is sound sent directly from the computer to the videos? Or via the speakers?
Straight from the pc. Hauptwerk records internally at 32-bit. Perfect results every time!
Mr. Gartshore does the Hauptwerk have an orchestra library in it with the sound source of the orchestra instruments to imitate an orchestra?
In short, It's any kind of organ you want it to be. Right, Fraser?
The only uber-weird thing in the Hauptwerk business is that obtaining the pedalboard seems impossible and always a result of a Byzantine labyrinth of mysterious networking (knowing someone who knows someone who happens to..., etc.) OR making one yourself, like adapting an old Hammond or Lowrey or something to MIDI, soldering iron in hand. It seems like there is no obvious way to simply _order_ a new 32-note MIDI pedalboard anywhere. Is this true or am I missing something obvious?
I think I have seen a few sites that sell pedalboards, but they cost well over $1000.
There are companies that make ready-made fully MIDI-equipped AGO/non-AGO pedal boards - as well as complete consoles:

Old Church organ pedalboards come up for sale on Ebay from time to time and they can be easily modified to use with Hauptwerk using the sorts of modules Fraser got hold of.
Look here: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224478301779?hash=item3443f30e53:g:2LQAAOSw8OZgaavK this retiring Organ builder has three for sale for not a lot of money! His premesis are about to be demolished so these need to go quick, if anyone is in need!
I agree totally! You’ll see on my channel that I sourced a redundant pedalboard for a friend and we had to MIDIfy it.
That is awesome, and I loved your interpretation of Pièce Héroïque. I am also planning to put together a MIDI organ for learning. Would 2 manuals be enough for most pieces, or should I think about 3 ?
You can't play on more than two manuals at the same time. So that should be already quite good.
It depends entirely on the repertoire you want to play. (Well, possibly also the sample set(s) you want to use.) I would suggest three as being the most flexible option, which allows a 4-manual sample set to be more easily used (via a floating division) than would be possible on a tot-manual console.
@@jfp2816 But on e frequently needs access to a third, or to the stop options provided by a third…
i guess it's a question of priorities, i would choose two wooden keyboards with a great feeling than five plastic ones...
there is nothing worse than an organ that is not fun to play
so try to figure out what gives a good feeling to you
@JF P if you don't know Dan S. technical possibilities you should not judge them ;-)
there are lots of people who CAN play on more than two manuals at the same time...
Given the configurability of Hauptwerk, and depending on what you want to play you may find 2 manuals are sufficient for 80% - 90% of it and a bit constrained for the rest. If you're considering that 2 manuals may be enough, then you would likely be comfortable and have no regrets with having 3 manuals.
Hi Fraser. Where did you get your foot pistons please?
First view !!!
@Arne Phil Bordi hey come on, 5 thumbs down out of over 350 is even below a measurement error ;-)
you should think about the heisenberg Uncertainty principle...
(at an atomic scale you can't even recognise them ;-)
I. Want. T H I S⚠️🤩
LOL "rude" indeed! - but hopefully "works" in all such instances ;-)
Perhaps call it the Gartshorgan? Or the OMG! (oh mein Gartshorgan) Or Das Gartshorgel
Ok - I'm ready to hear "Nancy" play the Hokey-Pokey - it only seems apropos -
You put your right foot in, you take your right foot out, you put your right foot in and you shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around (here pick up feet and spin around on the organ bench - do NOT fall off!). That’s what it’s all about.

. . .
You put your whole self in, you take your whole self out, you put your whole self in and you shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around. That’s what it’s all about.
Can this be a Calliope too? Circus Organ FTW?
Whatever you want!😂
@Synth Player is of course absolutely right, if you can't sing, you shouldn't dare to want to make music (and certainly not by inventing a tool where you press keys) Just a few years ago some experts calculated how many calculating machines the world needs (which make mathematical sense) but since I'm only a small on-site organist I prefer to leave it to others to judge how they use instruments (tools) and whether that makes sense...
btw: i'm sure a devils device like this Digital Monster should not be named "Organ" and never be heard anywhere ;-)
