HOW TO SIDE LOAD AN ANDROID APP ON THE MOVERIO: The term "side load" simply means that the APP you wish to install is not coming from the Google Play store with the automatic installation. This means you must use your home computer to search for the Android App to locate the .APK file of the APP. You then download it and place it on a Micro SD card. You then place the Micro SD card into the MOVERIO. Goto the Moverio file manager (MOVFILER) and find the SD card. You will have to hit "UP" on the screen until you see SD0 and SD1. Your micro SD Card is SD1 and contains the .APK App you wish to install. Just select the .APK file and long press on the file name (hold your finger down on the touch pad) until the option to INSTALL appears. Then just install it. You can do this for any Android App you wish to install on the Moverio that is not available in the Moverio App store. CAUTION: Epson does not support this method since they have no control over the Apps you install.

I've had mine since July 2017 still works like new out of the box no complaints what so ever. You pay for quality and these are top of the line and best in class. They come with 2 different shades great depending on time of day and also to help block light out wear a hat
Use the Moverio since 3 Month and quiet happy with it! As earphone i use one of my AirPods, works fine via BT! In bright sunshine i wear a cap, that solves all the problems with light entering from behind! Regards fron Germany !
The biggest advantage of these FPV glasses is they allow you to be within the FAA regs if your flying alone. You can still see your drone LOS and get the FPV view also. I have never had a issue with light coming in from the top or sides, but that could be an issue per person and how sensitive your eyes are to light. For me FPV allows me to be more precise in my flying (depth perception), being able to get closer to objects (especially when flying low to the ground from a distance).
I just received my BT-300 and it comes with a bracket for the Mavic Air - I love it!
I live in the UK and ordered my Moverio BT 300 from Rochester Optical in Rochester NY
and they came with more add ons than you get from Epson .you get two Polarised covers from a choice of 3 red blue or gold and a top cover to stop the sun getting in (you can still see your drone) so still legal to fly it
I use my MOVERIO BT-300 FPV Drone Edition to fly my MAVIC AIR and I LOVE them! I just discovered that theEARBUDS, which are included, ALSO serve as a microphone to record audio. My set was $699 and INCLUDEDa TWO PIECE HOLDER, which attaches the MOVERIO ANDROID UNIT to the MAVIC AIR REMOTE CONTROL andthis set up works well.Since the MOVERIO can also be used to surf the web, stream movies via Netflix, as an example, or can playrecorded movies via a micro SD card . . . PLUS it's many other capabilities AND its high build quality . . . I consider the MIVERIO BT-300 FPV Drone Edition to be a good value.
IPHOTOFLY the touch interface sucks, I had them over a year ago when they first came out. I tried them on my Inspire 2, Mavic Pro & phantom 4 pro, if you're only flying and not utilizing any of the on-screen options as you would on a tablet then they work fine. But if you want to interact with any of the DJI app options it gets very difficult and a bit unsafe/ dangerous
I find the touchpad easier than I feared, not bad at all. Mainly use controller buttons myself in flight
will these work an iPhone iPad....anything MAC?
I'd love to try them but would not buy them at these prices.
Two Lane Blacktop cost more than my phantom 4
Two Lane Blacktop ditto to the high price. Not worth it.
Anyone tell me is there another wireless googles and more compact than huge DJI GOOGLES? This glasses come with the dock, wire, so when attach together with remote its look so messy.
The BT-300 is my device of choice for my P4P and my Mavic Air. Why? First they are AR glasses so that unlike VR glasses you don’t need an observer with you when you use them. Secondly they are light and if you use the clip on the cable, you won’t have the issue you brought up about the cable. When using them, it is best to use the very dark glasses so that the image is crystal clear with very high intensity color and contrast. To see the drone, merely look above or below the narrow glasses. Finally, I always use a baseball cap so that there are no light reflection issues. Before I had the BT-300’s, I had a bright monitor, and now, sometimes I use an iPhone X ... but they only work when there is no direct sun to reflect on them. The only downside of the BT-300’s is price and they take a little longer set-up time. BUT ... as a photographer, I really like the bright intensity of the image you see with BT-300’s ... particularly when doing video work.
Thank you for the comments.
Agree entirely
I bought a set of these and set them up for the Autel EVO. They work for this as well as the Tello and a number of other 'FPV' hobby and toy drones. All one needs to do is side-load them for the app of your choice.
Goofy hat = low low temp. ...if your new here...Thanks Captain! I'm sold. Now if we could have that set up with head tracking, that would be the ultimate.
I would wear these while driving my Tesla cybertruck
Facts
I bought these, drone edition, way back before they even were released, on pre-order. Worked perfect, AMAZING, for about 2 days - until the 1st firmware update. After that the 'DRONE EDITION' glasses were good for everything except flying. The update resulted in the GO app telemetry to be displayed in Chinese, only Chinese. I do not read or speak that language so was not certain if I even was seeing accurate telemetry. After contacting Both DJI and Epson I was informed that this was a 'known issue' but that no date for a fix was available. I was offered the option of returning my glasses to be replaced with another pair using the outdated firmware, not been updated. As I bought these for the sole purpose of flying the update essentially turned my glasses into an $800.00 brick. I waited about 2 months in the hope a new update would be released to fix the problem. Didn't occur so I returned for refund. During the 2 months wait I was in regular contact with DJI and Epson. Neither seemed overly concerned that the product advertised and sold as 'DRONE EDITION' didn't perform as advertised. 'DRONE EDITION' meant only that the glasses came pre-loaded with DJI GO app. No other difference from the 'non-drone edition'? Anyway, perhaps the 'known issue' now has been resolved. Still, what happens the next time a firmware update renders the glasses useless to fly with? When the issue 1st occurred I just received my glasses and so fortunately was able to return for a refund. After the warranty expires no such luck, I'd be stuck again with an $800.00 brick for as long as it took for a fix to be released. And that's assuming a fix eventually did get released. My experience with providing 2 months, regular feedback to both Companies and little received in return prevents my making another purchase - not in an income bracket that allows for $800.00 bricks. I recommend Advent Glyphs. Can see area around you above and below the glasses, not totally sealed like most others, e.g. Fat Shark, so one still can maneuver about while flying.
I would LOVE to utilize these with my Department. I have “converted” my personal Mavic Pro into a tool of our Law Enforcement arsenal. But $700.... my Commissioners may just laugh me outta there. Maybe when prices drop in a couple years lol those are amazing tho
I work retail. I wish this was cheaper. I'd be watching RUclips all day at the register. :P
Both glasses are really good. I have both and will have to decide which one to keep?? I did have to get the CrystalSky thanks to Captain Drone's reviews, I am really glad I did. FYI both glasses seem to have the same quality projected picture, and also the BT-300 glasses will work with the BT-35e interface box. So if they ever release just to interface box then you would basically have both units. I did not really see a really big difference between the glasses BUT the BT-300 do fold up smaller which I think is a plus. So decisions.... decisions....
Another pair of goggles for ppl to consider are the Avegant Glyphs. I use them for my Mavic Pro with a Nvidia Shield K1 tablet. They have a very crisp image and are bright enough on sunny days. I have ordered a new tablet/smartphone 5.8ghz rx for my other Rc toys and am hoping for the same clarity.
Hey Steve I've only just heard about these. Someone mentioned they use the BT40s with the DJI RC PRO and their Air2s.
Could you do an updated video to this with the newer versions and elaborate on the use case for using in conjunction with cine drones? I don't see many such videos so coupled with your excellent reputation it would be a popular YT video I feel sure👍👍. Cheers😁
I don't have these glasses... it was just a demo unit.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 no worries. Shame as your views are among the few I trust but I get that you can't buy everything LOL
So is DJI going to make a second gen smaller goggles? Or should I go ahead and buy the BT-300?
DJI goggles and the BT 300 Googles are two very different type of goggles for different uses.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 after watching more of your videos the bt 300 seems to be my best and safest bet when keeping compliant with the laws as I am currently working on getting my pilot license. Thank you for being very informative in your videos!
3 years on..... are these still available for the mini 2 for example???
Does utelek with autel EVO or autel xstar premium???
I now never fly without them. But do your research before you buy, read channels that focus on them. You can only see your craft at short distances and exceptional circumstances. I always look over the glasses to see the craft. Then its a few millimeters down to see the app display.
I had never tried them prior to Epson sending them to me to review. Very impressive glasses!
Great review. Subscribed. Does the Edson has Bluetooth? Can I connect with the Bluetooth headphone. I don’t know if it’s even a good idea, I usually turn off my Bluetooth during flight. Thanks again for the review.
acvisanu Hello, yes the Moverio has bluetooth 4.1, so you should be able to connect most bluetooth devices.
Some kind of visor blocking the sun would be a nice addon to the base model.
will try work with the dpi mini
Too expensive but nice!
can one install other apps like Litchi on this unit? To the big drawback is being able to run the glasses and phone at the same time which would be perfect and really make this a real option and real addition.
So cool but they are hard to find... I wish the dji mini 2 remote had a longer cable so we could just throw the phone into vr goggles and fpv that way... so much cheaper.
Solved the problem.......you posted it btw. I was connecting the ODG cable which would disconnect it and when you in the screen of the Spark the status display would not show anything. Thanks
Great! Glad to hear all is working as it should.
Hi,
Very grateful. Does it mirror the android phone screen to the glass view?
Thanks
No, just the interface App.
I would like to know if there is a FPV Goggles that I can use with the Autel evo 2 Drone?
None that I am aware of.
Put ur phone in a cheap set n fly that way
Thanx captain drone, i was wondering and you answered my question about gimbal follow when you move your head, cheers cap!
Thanks for the thorough review. I'm charging mine as I type and looking forward to giving them a try.
Hi Paul , I am seriously considering a pair of these Glasses after having stress on getting a Tablet to work and also trying to get one with an HDMI port , just wondering what are your thoughts on the Moverio Glasses ? , thanks .
@@jeremyboyce1537 With respect to POV flying they are great. That said it's easy to get lost in POV and not really keep track of situational awareness. The key thing is getting the right fit so the images are clear (I wear glasses so I took lenses from an old pair to use with the BT-300) and getting comfortable wearing them, which will come the more you fly with them. If you see pilots wearing helmets with heads up displays or nigh vision it takes time for them to get use to that experience. The same with the BT-300.
@@pmh1nic , yes I understand , I have the Homido goggles , the one you put your phone in ? these things can get really hot and foggy in no time with the humidity I experience here in the Tropics and they are pretty heavy as well , the FPV goggles I have are the Flysight Spexmans and they are great but just the size of the Video is not what I would prefer for the type of flying I do because I really can't stand the Postage Stamp video that I get out of those either , so i was just wondering about the Moverio glasses and your Personal experience , ok ,
take care and thanks for your response , take care Paul .
Excellent - work really well with Inspire 1 Pro (professional PfCO enviroment) except vignetting means battery level very difficult to see so more work needed on display. Very little work needed to make these ideal for professional drone users. :-)
A friend of mind gave me a full set never used how do I download the apps, please can you help.
Can you advise me if the moverio bt 300 would work with a hudsan zino mini pro thankyou
nice review, tks, one question, can't you see the radio control telemetry on the glasses?
You can see pretty much the same information that you would see on your phone or tablet within the DJI GO 4 App.
hi can i use this glasses for mini 2 or air2s??
is there a possibility to add a skydroid module ?
i usualy add a skydroid to my phone to use it as a fpv screen i dont like flying with fatsharks cause my left eye isnt great
so i usualy use my laptop/tv or my phone as a fpv screen
You get a 5.8GHz receiver that you can plug into your tablets micro usb that sell for about $25, so technically you could receive the FPV racing drone's video feed to these glasses i think.
Interesting.
I tested this and although it works, it's too much latency when I'm racing my mini wuads at 80+MPH. It would be fine for a spectator, but not for the pilot.
Jeff Ray thanks for the feedback Jeff. You quite right. Latency at high speed means hitting that tree before you even realise its there when@ 80+mph. Spectating through them is a fantastic idea for getting people interested, that normally would be put off immediately because of res without giving the flow a try first.
Question: I have the DJI Mavic 2 pro and Zoom (with standard controllers) with the Smart Controller. Will the Epson Moverio BT 300 or BT 35 glasses work for both drones?
They should as long as the Moverio App supports them.
Hi interesting video 👍 What was that tiny drone you had at 7:35 ? Cheers.
Will the evo work with the bt200.i had the mavic pro but got the evo and discovered is far superior from the mav pro..much smoother and better camera in my opinion. At the moment j use a vufine plus and works great but when u saw you using the bt300 I thought us a better idea from the vufine .so if it dont work with bt300 wondering about the 200 as more options
The EPSON MOVERIO's are more for either a DJI drone (due to their own app) or a drone that has an HDMI out.
How are you today I was wondering do you still recommend these glasses I was thinking about buying a pair instead of a new drone thanks for the video
Epson had sent me the glasses for a 14 day review. I only had them for the 14 days so I get give you my long term opinion.
After returning the demo set, did you consider buying a pair?
If you chose not to, what were your reservations beside price?
I returned the set after 14 days. I did not buy them because I'm old school.
Do you recommend them?
Sure, they do what they say they do. They are designed for people who really need something like this in their line of work (inspections, filming, etc). If you read the comments you'll see that some people have loved them and some people just could not get used to them.
thanks
Look nice, can this device go for live stream like facebook youtube ect....???
I did not try that but since it is just basically a tablet, I'm sure it could.
Does anyone know where these could still be purchased? Or perhaps would be willing to sell their glasses if not using them any longer? Thanks in advance!
What about using an otg 5.8ghz module to the tablet and flying the fpv racing drone you can find those on Amazon for 15 bucks and that might make the really cool
Captain drone …I’m thinking of buying one of the moverios but am in right to say u cannot get dji fly app that works with the more current drones to be installed in this model? I think the price of this one as compared to bt 35e is not that different?
As stated in the vid, I only had the product for a week.... long ago. Contact EPSON.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 captain drone
Interesting that although it's such a well received pdt inc bt35e for drones...epson Australia doesnt know a thing abt it..and local retailers sold out and will not get stock anymore...only sellers I could find are Ebay sellers from japan ..and an overpriced one from Italy in amazon....only American retailers seems to have them in stock..online...this is very strange...I wanted a tripltek tablet to wireless cast yes u can I found out later from it mirrored to the bt35e..bugger....;(
Does it need eye distance adjustment?
I wear glasses and it seemed fine to me.
Wow! What a great looking product! I was just looking at thier site afyer watching the video. Why are they staying with Android 5.1? They woukd be worth the price with a newer os.
you know.. "it works" for him because it fits in well with his sci-fi technogeek swagger. the rest of us would just look awkward wearing these. great review and detail. i'll definitely be looking for these (used on ebay in a few years, not full retail)
Hi Captain, if i try to get these glasses..... will it work with the current DJI Air 2s / DJI Go Fly app ?
You'd have to ask EPSON that question. I don't have these glasses.
Will these work with a Mavic 3 pro with the RC Pro controller? Thanks for any info.
Nope
Thank you for the great review. I ordered a pair tonight but alas everybody is out of them. Will have to wait a couple weeks before I can use these.
Awesome review... I love my DJI goggles tho. The big clear picture and the darkness from the big goggles is awesome. The law doesn't say you cannot fly with goggles, the law just states that you need a visual observer if you do utilize a goggle to fly. So as long as your VO can maintain visual line of site your okay to fly with goggles. These are interesting tho, I just like having a bigger picture. I have fatsharks too and the video image is so small your eyes strain trying to focus on the little image.
So, is the image in your inset the actual image you see, or is it the better image you would see after you retrieved the drone and downloaded the saved video? I am just trying to judge how my ACTUAL image would look to my eyes as I fly....
The image is a crop of what you would see. The image you see is pretty much the image from your DJI Go 4 App on your phone or tablet. It just sits in the middle of your viewing. Your brain will either look at the image or look behind the image.
You misunderstood my question. I am asking if what I see in your video in the inset (the small video at top) is the actual resolution that I would see if I was wearing the glasses. Or, is the inset image what was pre-recorded and then put into your video? I want to know if the actual FPV resolution while flying (what I would see with my eyes) is lower than what I see in your video.
My video is 4K, so the resolution is not going to by that high. All I can say is the resolution is very high, not pixaled in anyway. Like watching a 60" TV from 5 feet away. Try it for yourself since everyone's eyes and opinions are different. Most stores should accept a return if you don't like them.
Using DJI GO4 with a Spark, I presume one can still lock the gimbal with the controller. I wonder if this gives gimbal control (up and down) by nodding your head?
Great concept, Epson are clearly on the right track. Epson need to think about improving light leakage and get rid of those cords - that set-up looks like something from the 80's. I will keep my money for now and wait for the improvements to come through but I can see a pair in my future unless DJI or someone else beats them to it.
Will it work with the Mavic Mini using DJI Fly?
Nope
Thanks for the great info! Will these work with the Mavic Mini?
I would think not, due to the DJI FLY app
Ok, thank you.
no one has answered my question can you use these glasses to fly the dji mini 2 will they work
Nope
Do they work for mavic mini?
Heck no
:(
Does anyone know the name of the connector that comes from the glasses as I need an extension
How much latency does this have? Because the signal gets transmitted once more than in the "orgiginal" setup...
The Latency is pretty much the same as any phone or tablet.
Can I use them with the mavic pro
I got my answer, thanks. I'll love to try them
DOES IT WORK WITH THE SPARK ALSO?
Yes.
Does the controller download maps like the tablet does when connected to the internet?
Yes. It is the DJI GO 4 App, so everything works as a tablet does.
Hi again... when I downloaded the DJI app (DJI go4) it was right from the Epson controller in their App Store. I did connect the controller through the wifi on the Epson setting but still the same problem.
When you say Epson setting do you mean Android Settings? All Android devices have a Settings App. Everything should work because a DJI GO 4 App will not work (i.e., let you fly) unless it can receive all the telemetry info from the controller/Spark. Since it works on your iPhone, yet you don't receive the telemetry info on the MOVERIO tells me there is a version difference between your Spark and the App and the Moverio. Moverio is supposed to use the latest DJI GO 4 App from DJI. All they do is add an extra number to the end of the version. So the latest Android version for a tablet or phone should also be the latested on the MOVERIO. Now MOVERIO does say they are about 4 days behind when a DJI update comes out. If you still have issues, you should be chatting with EPSON and not DJI.
hmm. Interesting! Do you know if these support OTG?
if it does my use them for my real FPV drones too... With GoFPV app.
You are thinking of a different type of FPV goggle
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 looks like someone is attempting to compromise your account. They have registered a bogus site on RUclips and are using your message thread to phish.

I am so glad I subscribed to you. I fly alot and was looking for something that would allow me to see my surroundings! The DJI goggles are way too big!!!
Will it work with the DJI Mavic Mini?
Nope
Hello Captain Drone my question is can I use my mavic mini and air 2 with the Moverio bt300 or the bt-35e with the dji fly app
That is a question for EPSON
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks
How do I connect these to my DJI smart controller
You can't. You'd need the BT35E and connect to your HDMI port.
Best Buy recommended these when I bought this drone! They are gonna get an ear full when I go return them. I’ve had these for over 6 months buying different cables trying to contact epson. Lol thank you finally the truth
For the Yuneec Typhoon H and related series there is an android app called CGO, that allows a tablet or phone to receive and display video directly from the drone's 4K camera, via WiFi. I am sure it would work with these goggles, since they are no different to a tablet or a smartphone.
Very true. f you side load the app, it will most certainly work.
That is worth a try... CGO4 & CGO3 apps, plus a 3rd party tool all provide ability capture various cgo models. I own DJI & Yuneec, and this would be great if at least able to see the screen’s content and FPV of bird; although not able to interact with on screen ST16 controls and limited camera controls. With Movierio then glasses, you should be able to look down below lens to see ST16 screen too.
wow, top level design and technology in one!!!
how does it compare to DJI Googles? Thanks
Very different.
in your opinion which is better? I only used DJI thanks
The Goggles are specifically designed for DJI drones and have a ton of DJI options. The Epson Glasses are designed for many drones and are pretty much just a tablet. It is like taking the display from your phone and placing it in front of your eyes, but allowing you to see through it.
Great video! Do you think you could list the drones you show in the video? i love the tiny one
Here is a link to my review of the tiny one: ruclips.net/video/IbOpUR1jAx4/видео.html
Will this work with a Iphone or with Litchi on Android
It does not require an iPhone, it comes with it's own tablet which is a touchpad. To install Litchi, you'd have to side load it on Android.
So you're saying that you can't use the touchpad like you use your finger to select everything in the DJI Go app screen..
With the mavic pro you need to tap to focus sometimes so you can't do that either?
I guess I would need to know a lot more information before I purchased an expensive product like that...
Actually, not sure I said that, what I was getting at is that when you are flying you can't see the touchpad, so you don't know where to place your finger to select an item. Once you touch the touchpad you may accidentally have selected an option.
Hi,
Very grateful to you . Does it allow me to share what I see out to an android device?
Thank you
You mentioned the Phantom 4 pro/Adv.. does it also work well with the original Phantom 4?
sorry, didn't finish watching the whole video. looks like it would be fine with an original Phantom 4 :)
You are correct, it will work great with the Phantom 4.
Did you see DJI’s app update yesterday? It forces users into BINDING ARBITRATION, which is illegal in Ontario. I did not accept the new terms and conditions. I contacted DJI, but no reply.
I saw it right when I was about to film with one of their drones. Didn't seem like I could bypass it to move on into the App.
CAPTAIN DRONE No way to skip it, so I removed the DJI app and am flying with Litchi until I get sorted out. I’m in contact with DJI and explained the situation. We’ll see what happens, but it’s against the law where I live, and regardless, I wouldn’t have accepted it anyway.
Would I be able to side load the Autel Evo app to these.
More than likely.
how much are they and would u buy them
Price? I'm not sure because it depends on where you live and where you buy them. The only googles I own are FATSHARK goggles for FPV RACE DRONES. The image in a FATSHARK looks like old school compared to these Epsons, however the Epsons are not designed for FPV RACE DRONES, so I can't consider them for that. If you fly DJI Drones and need googles that you don't have to take off your head to look around, then these Epsons would be a good option.
Good review.
I have the DJI Goggles and love the fact that they have head tracking. Do these definitely have head tracking?
Is it as good as the DJI Goggles?
The version I had did not use head tracking that I recall.
Yes, they do have headtracking. There are apps that you can use for it or on 3D Videos on RUclips.
@@muffdriver69 Yes. I bought some and do have head tracking.
Here is my review.
ruclips.net/video/sXZ9jULBAg4/видео.html
can you mirror to a tablet or phone?
Hmmm.... that I don't know. I had the glasses for 14 days (was sent a review pair), tried most things with them but I don't believe I tried that.
I noticed you wear glasses. Could you focus on the image without using your glasses? I have DJI Goggles and wear progressive lens glasses. Doesn’t work very well. It looks like you are not wearing your glasses under the BT-300. Could you talk about this issue? If I had a pair, used without my glasses, will the image be in focus?
I wear glasses because I am far sighted (I see objects at a distance, but require glasses to see objects close up). I can wear the Moverio's without the aid of glasses. Seems to work OK for far sighted people.
Highly interested in picking up a set, for use with my fleet of Drones, but, when I tried your links, they said that these aren't available in my country! Is there a reason that these aren't available in the US?
This is a very old video. You'd have to contact Epson.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Ahhhh, didn't notice the date. I'm amazed that these have been out for this long, without me hearing about them. Thanks for the info! I'll check into it.
Would it be possible to tether this unit via WiFi while connected to the Mavic Air for social media streaming?
Maybe, as long as you connected the unit to the Mavic Air controller & the controller was connected to the Air, then the WiFi on the unit would be available for anything you want. But, I don't know if it would be powerful enough (processor) to multitask such streaming.
CAPTAIN DRONE Thanks for the reply. Will be interesting if it works.
I use a small rotg01 hence (otg) eachine receiver for fpv miniquads hooked up to my laptop for recording dvr. I think I could hook that up to that android device u have their and fly fpv miniquads with those glasses. Infact I'm sure I could
I am impressed about the feedback with the Epson Moverio. I already bought them as a Mavic Pro Platinum and I had some other issues (not with the aircraft but eith the Goggles) and not in any youtube channel ( The Epson Moverio Official Channel) or customer service I get ANY answer to my incidences, they are "dissapear" and don´t pay ANY attention to the customer who already bought those expensive items... Amazing so be aware and DON´T buy those glasses because Epson Moverio is not supporting their customers, bad experience, so bad....
Will they work with the Autel evo drone?
If you can side load the Autel Explorer App, then Yes they should work.
is it also works with other wifi drones?
Yes, but you'd have to load the App for the drone.
How do you get sound to Bluetooth headphones while watching Netflix?
I notice that you wear glasses. Do they fit over your glasses or is the view big enough that you don't need glasses to view the screens clearly ?
You can fit them over your glasses. I am far sighted which means objects that are near are blurry but objects in the distance are in focus. I found the display works well for far sight people. I really didn't need to use my glasses.
I can confirm for me wearing moverios over my optical near sighted sunglasses works perfectly. There's an additional nose thing to do it
Thanks for the video. Will they work with the Phantom 3 Advanced?
Yes, the Moverio BT-300 will work with the Phantom 3 Advanced & Pro & Standard
Great!? 🤔 About time, something that's gets rid of that brick on the head. Hope the bring a pair out that works mjx bugs 3 drone. Captain Drone 😁 a little question... Whats the name of the small cute little drone you would work with these glasses??? 🤔 Roughly 5min into video. Thanks
That video was some time ago and my memory is short. It was a drone I reviewed on my channel long ago. I'm sure someone else as the same question shortly after this video was posted so you may find the answer in the early comments.
How do you wear these over your spectacles?
There is a nose grip that extends farther back to accommodate glasses.
Very interesting! Being from sunny Florida, the big problem here is seeing the iPod screen in bright sunlight. Some days it is nearly impossible.
I've been considering buying DJI's expensive sunlight readable screen. Now I wonder if the Moverio could be a better choice for about the same price. Any thoughts?
The Moverio Glasses are designed so that you can look through the glass and see your drone as well as see the DJI GO 4 App image. You'd have to put on one of the dark sun visors over the lens on a bright sunny day. The DJI Crystal Sky screen can be seen in the bright sun, but it's not super bright (the sun wins in every case). Your best bet would be enclosed goggles like the DJI Headset which would give you the best image in bright sunlight (if you fly the Phantom or Mavic). So in the end, you have 3 options. It all depends on what options you're looking for.
Is there a new model out . And do they now work with the air 2 ?
That is a question for EPSON
I just thought you might have known something. Because your like the Drone god of youtube. Or more like the Gene Simmons from Runaway . Just kidding . Love your drone reviews.
