The board finally made a competent decision 👏👏
Not like they had a choice, club was slipping too much under this board, really should have got rid of Ole over the international break
@@A4Gaming : Ole should’ve went after the Europa League final.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
My god what excites me more than his interim manager role is his advisory role for the next 2 years!! After all these years what we are crying out is a man with a football brain to put a structure in our poised club.
If he can get the Utd team to the next level why not keep him has the head coach?
That was really surprising
@@bighands69 they need a director more than they need a manager. Doesn’t matter who is in the hot seat they’ll fail if the board continues to make bad footballing decisions

He's just an interim manager so no structure before the season
@@virtuallimit8615 he is hardly gonna come in and keep the same useless structure in place. Obviously there will be a new structure or why would they appoint him in the first place bro
Hope they stop with the consultancy/advisory and give me an executive role as a Sporting director. Give him authority and see the magic happen. But sadly United will not go that way and screw it up
@@virtuallimit8615 United want him in some kind of advisory capacity after the interim gig so he may well try to force structural changes

He'll do as well as the last few.
Ngl this seems like a decent appointment if he is going to move into an advisory role. He was key part in building the Leipzig team from nothing to a champions league side. So having someone who knows how to make good signings and understands the game on the board for a change might be what United need
It’s nit decent it’s incredible, he’s going to put some DNA back to United
And his style is similar to Klopp’s style, especially when it comes to the gegenpress.
also, before Leipzig, he is the guy who took Hoffenheim from an amateur village club to a bundesliga mainstay. If United don't succeed with him at the helm, they might as well disband, lol
@@filipsandebert847 Did he put DNA into lokomotiv or whatever Moscow team that was? What a joke of an appointment
GH Sense would u rather keep carrick or get valverde who got battered 8-2 by Bayern. I don't know much about him as a manager but if he's moving into an advisory role after his interim period that's huge he's literally known for building clubs
Brilliant appointment! Especially as he'll have a role in shaping the club beyond the season! Can't believe Utd could have been so good at their decision making for once.
I hate Watford more and more as this goes on, OLEIN# Ole is the real legend, hope Watford gets relegated this season

That would be perfect! My exact thoughts 🔥
Awesome 🔥🔥
Ten Hag has a different style of football if you compare it to Rangnick.
How many remember 2011 champions league semi final where Sir Alex's United faced Ragnicks Schalke 04 where Neuer was the goalkeeper.
Shubhojit Ghosh rightly said. That was the tie when Neuer made a name for himself. Utd won 6-1 on aggregate, but getting Schalke to UCL sf was a great achievement
Remember that game fondly as a Utd fan
End to end stuff, & boy did Neur announce his arrival on stage BIG TIME.
As a German id say hes a top manager and team builder. The question is how he can handle big stars and egos. Hes never had such a roster
The pen is mightier than the sword,
I'm sure he's not worried,
As an Arsenal fan,
I'm just going to head out... [ & Silently pray that Arteta doesn't play Xhaka]

Ten Hag & that other guy are gona get kidnapped by other clubs,
so we may have to search through the youngish grampa's
who trained Ten Hag & Naglemannnnnn etc....
to get a competent Totla football manager, just to try to compete in the EPL 2022-23.
The perfect interim to take us till end of the season. Respectful, experience and has football knowledge. Interim to DoF hopefully. Then get ten Hag or Poch as our manager. Finally need to run our club as a football club and not a business club. Perfect appointment. Win win.
Ten Haag would be great
after 8-9 years of negligence, finally
✅ Woodward stepping down
✅ Matt Judge no longer handling transfers
✅ Murtough, Fletcher become directors
✅ Rangnick as interim + advisor
✅ A proper manager next season
United to rise up again?
I literally cannot believe that United have actually gone & acted like a proper club for once. Appointing Rangnick is just incredible & the fact that he'll also work behind the scenes once his interim spell ends being in control of all football related matters is just wow. I'm proper chuffed. Now we can set the wheels in motion for Ten Hag in the summer
To anyone who doesn’t know who he is, he basically made Tuchel and Klopp
That's what excites me the most
Hopefully everyone gives him enough time. We all have to be aware that it's very likely that he won't be performing any miracles short term. The squad severely lacks confidence and there's only so much a manager can do about that.
Ya need Jesus to fix that team
He'll have plenty of time to rebuild once united are in the Championship. Obviously that's a joke before you all start murdering me lol
The squad only needs one thing… ronaldo out
What time? He's only there for slightly more than half a season, there isn't much time to give.
@@alboteta Yeah because removing Ronaldo will prevent Maguire from constantly losing the ball and will also prevent them from being able to string more than 3 passes together whilst in their own half. That's very clearly the striker's fault. The striker who played exactly in the same way when he won 3 Champions Leagues in a row.
he's an underrated manager so good props on united for making a pretty good signing
@Fergal Fox i mean he's interim but at least he has some idea in his tactics. 3 years on, idk what Ole's tactics are
7 trophies over his whole managerial career, although he’s technical and has brilliant ability, i still believe it’s the players and not the managers, the players showed the same attitude towards the end of Mourinhos sacking as they did with Ole’s.
Fernandez should be ashamed of himself for the games and contributions he made towards ole sack. Loss of possession, complaining and arms flapping. 1 good goal or pass eliminated 15 horrendous passes during the match every week

Love it! I just love it! ♥️
I wish he gets us great again....more than anything I want to see him as part of sporting board.
Hahaha very good decision Ragnick is what a club like Manchester United needs, although the truth is that I have been waiting for him in Milan for 2 seasons, what makes me laugh is that the English dare to criticize German football when they live off it, Without German football the premier would be any league, Ragnick will restore greatness to Manchester United I have no doubts
I really hope we get him and he clears out Phelan and Co!
Just watched a video of him talking about aggression and intensity.... two things United don't have at the moment. Can't wait to see what he does.
They Rang him in the nick of time!
yes - this is a great move
Come on United get Ralf on board! We need a coach that is fit for the job from the start (not one that needs ‘learning on the job’).
Finally the United board have made a proper competent footballing decision after sir Alex..miracles do happen and i am delighted.
The man brought his football vision to both RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig. Since then both clubs only appointed managers that fit into that vision and have a similar style. As a Liverpool fan I am scared because this could be a really big step in bringing succes to United
This seems actually decent, fair play
It surprises me that Man Utd actually seem to have some semblance of a plan for the future
As interim manager assignment, club executive expected he can lay the foundation and when Ten Hag came in the summer for more tactical and technical in-depth to bring 120% out of the players
Champion 🏆 move Manchester united make
Great choice. Finally a wise decision made by the Utd board dare I say it!!
Great choice and he's willing to accept a probation period as well
I just want him as a full-time boss, so I hope he's a success as an Interim.
He will definitely either drop the big-timers or improve them indefinitely - which is what we need going forward.
Yes, Poch, Rodgers, Zidane, Favre, Garcia and others are all great, but this is the man for sure.
I honestly would only wait for Rodgers, otherwise Rangnick is the one to start a real true new era.
Back him, like no manager has been backed before my fellow Red Devils!
Finally a good move!!! Should have got him before the start of the season!
Yeeeeeeaaaaah Ralf Rangnick one of the best
That is actually a good move.. He is a good manager.. Could be a permanent if he does well.. His tactics matches so much with united line-up..
Not really united is one of the teams in the pl with the least ground covered and there is cr7
He should be appointed the manager at the end of the season as he will improve the team a lot.
He has proven again and again that he can work as a director with a coach under him, helping the coach get the players that meet the coach's vision, and not like PSG where they get players to sell jerseys.
Finally, something makes sense
I wanted Mike Bassett but this isn't too bad.
I wanted Fat Sam.
Still can’t believe they are getting Ralf, still looks like a dream
I would have still preferred a permanent appointment but Rangnick's body of work both in the dug out and behind the scenes is quite impressive. At least the club finally has an experienced man at the helm. Fingers crossed he can take us to the top 4 at least!
Good move for United until they get Ten Haag worth the wait. I'm sure he gonna do a great job during these 6 months.
Dharmesh "TAP IN MERCHANT" LET'S GO!!!
This appointment is OUTSTANDING & will have a major ripple effect on the selection of players. My heart is in a good place, but I want to see how he establishes the foundation, and influences the permanent choice for manager. Life is good!!
Ralf Rangnick welcome to Manchester United
Rangnick is too good a manager to be simply an interim. He plays the elite form of gegenpressing and United will finally get an identity. So I dont think United should say that they only want him as an Interim.
Yep....theyre threading carefully
🎊🎊🎉🎉🎇🎆🎆 its official I'm in love with Ralph 😁
Dont matter if you rate this guy as a top manager or not at the end of it he is a football person who will be in a highish position at the club thats better than what we have now and if he can get us playing pressing football it will be a good way to transition into a poch
Glazers doing a good appointment for once. Not only is he the most adequate person to be interim but he can make an impact on footballing decisions in the future thus giving us some footballing structure in how we pick players, style of play and future managers. It’s a start.
Wow, the Board made a decent decision for once.
That is a very clever move!!! He can do something for United without a question .
For those not convinced by Rangnick need to realise the likes of Tuchel and Klopp point to him as a massive influence for their coaching philosophy. That's insane! A massive move if true and I'm a bloody LFC fan!
