- We caught Pipeline The Surf Coaster testing during our visit to SeaWorld Orlando today!
This video shows a full daytime test ride from inside the park along with some clips showing the ride testing from other viewpoints and some footage of early launch testing.

Oh you can definitely hear it go!
There is nothing like it. Pure music to my ears.. people complain about it like why lol..
Since the trains are very heavy, the track spine is thicker, so in turn the surf coaster roars louder than many b&m models

Let’s see what’s it’s like when it’s opens and wait for an actual review, my guess would be end of April for an opening, it’s hard to gauge how good this could be just by watching a video, as we know, the ride is promising a floating/bouncing type system not really seen on a ride before, so you don’t really know what it’s going to be like until someone has ridden it
Also people may panic when they see the bit at the end of the video and the ride appearing to do a failed launch, this is absolutely perfectly normal as per normal testing procedures because they will be testing and tweaking the launch system to understand what works best based on weight systems on the trains and what optimum speed the ride should always launch to make it every time
looks very tame however, very fun and smooth just wish it was a tad bit longer.
I'm still concerned about how the bouncing system works... besides that, this is looking pretty awesome. Nice footage

There’s nobody on it right now. We think once there’s people on they’ll move.
