Haha she is badass for being able to talk through that. I’ve been on it and the person (stranger) in front of me turned around at the end and said “are you okay? You were screaming so loud”. Lol I love rollercoasters and that is incredibly thrilling!
Omg. The same thing happened to me last week. When the ride ended the teenaged couple ahead of me turned around and sincerely asked if I was okay. Lol. I screamed so loud. Don't like.rollercoasters
@@st.francisanddr.pepper1304so was a terrified scream? I screamed so dang loud on Mummy, we stopped at the end and after a moment i said “again!” Made people laugh lol. Hope to do Velocicoaster next Tuesday if I’m brave enough
I wanna ride this so bad, i LOVE Jurassic World, and the coaster looked stunning when i saw it in person. Tomorrow i go back and I’m terrified but i really wanna ride it. But the restraints freak me out
Doesn’t matter how hard you hold you, you get that airtime big time in this ride. Lol 😂 I love coasters and at times was finding it hard to keep my hands up because you feel like your flying right out of that thing!
I've been on it 12 times so far since opening and found out so long as your not in the first or 4th row, you can brace your feet against a bar on the bottom of the person's seat in front of you and push yourself into the restraints which mitigates a lot of the airtime feeling. That allows me to have my hands up from beginning to end. Obviously I know I can't slip out, but my instinct for self preservation makes me put my hands down otherwise. This is a pretty gnarly coaster and I love it.
@@Kin2InuYasha I know this is a month old comment but THIS. Everytime we do the prolonged upsidown part I kept panicking about the things in my pocket ( there was none) but yah bracing your feet definitely helps!!
I held on SO TIGHT to the bars that i had very bad back pain the minute i stepped out to the point I couldn’t walk 😂. I was soooo scared that i held on for my dear lifez
Just Big fan of Theese type of coasters taiga, velocoaster & helix ofc helix is not intamin But same type of coasters and just love the feeling that your flying just need to trust the coaster to do it But after done it its just too fun

That was my problem with roller coasters, which is why I hated them. I had to start small and work my way up. It’s impossible to just loosen up when you’re that terrified 😬
That’s exactly. I used to be very afraid of them cause every time I tried to get on I would tense up and it the worst time ever. One day I tried again but I completely let go as I as sat on it and right there I had the best time. I now love coasters.
@@TheMuni777 hah yea i had to do the same, start really small...im talking kiddy coasters, ride them a couple times to get a feel then slowly work ur way up.
Update: My wife and I rode the coaster twice at night during the November 20th Orlando Informer meetup event. It’s definitely a different experience at night. No video of the rides unfortunately. I still did not hold my arms up. Thanks for all the comments and subs.
I have a fear of Rollercoasters, but I LOVE this ride. The difference in riding during the day and at night is literally day and night. I love both ways to ride. I hope you enjoyed the Orlando Informer meet-up, it's about the only way I choose to go to Universal - I truly love the event!
Thanks for all the comments and likes. I wear prescription eyeglasses to see and obviously taking them off for this coaster is wise. Alot of my facial expressions come from the fact that everything is blurry without my glasses. My reporter comments were taken from talking points Universal gave out. We planned to incorporate her comments during the ride into a tv news story. She did several takes to give us some options while editing. We hope to ride Disneys Tron and/or Guardians of the Galaxy ride together in the future…stay tuned.
@@OrlandoTVphotog So would you say you hated it is it smooth did you feel like you were falling out when it went upside down the first time am I gonna pass out my six year old daughter wants to ride this with me and I’m not a young person so I am all I’m not really scared or afraid because I trust universal and no one has fallen out of it but I’m just afraid I’m gonna pass out or have a heart attack or some thing just curious if you would ride this again?
Dude you looked like you were in pain, much like I do on a roller coaster ride. But honestly, I was moreso just waiting for that smoking hot reporters shirt to blow up just a little higher to show off that fantastic rack she’s rockin’!😉
Well, it doesn't reach 70 in 2.4 seconds, but it's still one of the best coasters on earth. The first launch is 0-50 in 2.0 seconds; the second is 40-70 in 2.4 seconds which is where she is getting that number. Also, please don't kill your cameraman. He seemed genuinely terrified. He did NOT have a good time.
You are absolutely right...He (very clearly) did NOT have a good time. He looked just like my husband when it stopped. He said he'd never go on it ever again.
Proud of you Tom! You were so brave! I could tell you were afraid but you still rode it! And that is an accomplishment and something to be proud of! It has inspired me to try it next Tuesday assuming Hulk goes okay for me
My wife and I just rode it last week for the first time ….in the dark! I’m still buzzing about it. The sheer speed and direction changes blew my mind. The fact you don’t get the typical coaster slow down and build up stuff was mind blowing. The final barrel roll over the water was my fav
The fact that Thom looked at his least terrified on the top of the top hat is hilarious! Best coaster ever, it’s awesome and keeps you out of your seat so much 👍🏻
Outstanding and AMAZING Coaster!! Just got back home from there and I want to go back and ride that for a week non-stop!! The reporter would be a BLAST to ride with!!
hahahah this poor guy!!!! all the deep breathing to keep calm and maybe not throw up loll this is so INTENSE and my MOST FAVORITE RIDE EVER!!!!! ALWAYS A PRIORITY WHEN I GO ;)
I love how she said, "OK, that's why this is billed as Florida's fastest ride" after the first launch.... The first launch is only 50 MPH... The second launch is where you hit the 70 MPH... But you're already going 40 MPH into that second launch, so it's really just a 30 MPH boost to get you from 40 MPH to 70 MPH.
I’m good thanks. What you saw was my honest reaction to that coaster with no knowledge of it beforehand. I have now ridden 3 other times without camera on me. Night time is a whole different experience.

Hey bro you good? It seems you didn’t have fun. Hope you did though! This is a great and fun ride but can be intimidating I went on it once and I was sitting (delayed time due to a cart not making it all the way to the need of the track so they had to send all the other carts to get it to go) and had that “chicken” feeling like I’m scared and about to puke I get on and I tell myself “I don’t wanna do this” X3 whilst pulling the lap bar down on my own haha that’s how I am I love rides like this but hate being in the cue but you seemed to be scared throughout!
