I have a Raven MP-25. Actually a fun little range toy as well. Surprisingly accurate and once I cleaned it and lubed it, I haven't had any issues with it, not that I put a lot of rounds through it.
I owned one and basically used it for pocket carry when I would mow the lawn. Bought it used for $50 with one mag about ten years ago. Then sold it for $50 back in 2021.
Yep, fun gun, i own one. Me and my kids shoot it, along with the rough rider revolver. Id like to get a raven 25 just for the nostalgia but ammo for them is just stupid priced.
Phoenix is the only Ring of Fire manufacturer left in business. The rest were sued out of existence for being unsafe. Safeties that didn't work at all or that easily broke. Plus, using the firing pin as the ejector didn't help.
I've been having a Jennings J 22 for over 20 years. I had an issue with an internal spring when i purchased it used.. Haven't had any issues since. Nice little pistol
Wow.. $175 down the toilet.. You could've purchased a brand new SCCY CPX-2 for what you blew on that garbage.. But, I am guilty of spending that much in a few hours in a "gentleman's establishment," so who the hell am I to judge.. My Heritage Rough Rider, Phoenix Arms HP22 and my SCCY pistol are about as cheap of an experiment as I've ever been comfortable doing. I have been satisfied with the performance of all three, but a little more care needs to be performed to get the best results. Your Keltec 22 pistol, a Ruger Wrangler, and your Taurus 9mm would probably outclass my little "value batch" pretty easily.
Sorry, sorry, my bad.. I took the liberty of adding that hundred bucks you spent on that pair of Hipoint 40cal pistols.. I couldn't count how many times I spent 75 bucks at a gentleman's establishment.. Honestly, I think that might be the going rate.. Were you ever able to group that "Jumpin' Jimenez" masterpiece on a paper plate, inside of 21 feet..?!
@@user-tp9gy8kt2q no I haven’t grouped it yet but when I go to an indoor range I’ll try to. I’m curious what till do. The rifling is very minimal at best.
The zinc alloy, Zamak, that they were all made from, doesn't hold up well under recoil. Fine for a 22LR, 25 ACP, or 32 ACP. But, the frames on the 380 ACP & 9mm Luger models often broke. Absolute junk, that's now kind of a cheap collector's item.
Looks like a hand cannon in your hand 😂

Frog Lube, of all things, makes these JA-22s run like a champ.

I have a guilty pleasure for cheapo little guns like that, too.

It is well known for not performing well. I guess it is collectible due to being one of the worst guns ever made.
I think title for worst goes to Lorcin handguns.
