I'm redesigning some of creepypastas and rewriting there stories. I'm trying not to make them all look like twinks but I'm still learning how to draw different bodies.

Masky was ruined a long time before that comic came around. Even further back, this is based on comic dubs by Madame Macabre, than this comic's release there were issues with how Masky was portrayed. This has been a long standing issue within the fandom, this comic is just an easy source of said issues to point to at this point.

i find it less weird when i remember lazari was a self insert of the creator (or just a really bad mary sue); the change was probably a kid just trying to feel more adult. idk much about the creator of i eat pasta for breakfast but it just seems really likely that is the case. we don't really know how old the creator is but i dislike thinking of the worst possible scenario and saying the change was simply for uhhh... less than favorable reasons.

Also in a lot of fan works I’ve seen the slender man keeps the proxies memories so that they are easier to manipulate
For example, if I remember correctly, Toby doesn’t remember his mother or his sister, lyra, but he does remember how abusive his father was and that supposedly the slender man gave him the strength to finally kill him, which is why Toby basically worships the slender man
It does vary a lot tho since almost the entirety of creepypasta is fan made, and a lot of the characters and stories have been changed because of how nonsensical and problematic they are
First time I watched this when I was like 9, I had no clue who any of these characters were, but I immediately decided that Jeff was my least favorite because he let Jane die

@@Greenbeehivve nope. the fandom just had (has) a massive issue with twinkifying characters, and the version in iepfb was just the commonly accepted fanon characterization. tim/masky over time went from heavyset browneyed generic guy haircut morally grey character who was against the operator and only became masky when controlled, to a blueeyed twig of a man with 2008 brendon urie hair who is a "proxy" to slenderman. shit, the whole cheesecake thing the fandom loved so much was unfortunately an inside joke originally made to mock tim suttons weight. it sucked, hard. the marblehornets fanbase has gotten better in recent years, though.

Hi, one of the old VAs for IEPFB here (Stripes and eventually Lulu, Tobi cast someone else sometime during production). This was wild to see on my RUclips feed.
It's honestly crazy to look back at this so many years later. I remember I and some of my friends who were cast enjoyed this comic because we enjoyed the found family/Slendermansion idea that was shown a lot in the beginning. It definitely got more confusing as it went on. I do remember that Tobi gave us some of the ideas they had for the comic, although since it's been 8-10 years I do not remember them much. I do remember that Slender was gonna be the villain (it was meant to be a twist since Zalgo being the BBEG was the norm at the time with other comics like the Seer, Pasta Monsters and Creepypasta Chronicles), but that's about it. However, as things continued it definitely got too much. I also know people are complaining about the twinkification of the creepypasta characters (which is fair, I'm one of them nowadays) but I know that was a thing of the time, not just this comic.
With that said, Stripes definitely became my favorite character and she's one of my favorites to voice ever despite how much of a mess comic. In terms of Tobi, they were pretty alright from what I remember. If they did anything sketchy I wouldn't have known. They were just kinda a young adult (18-20) who was still in their edgy teen phase from what I could tell. Although take that with a grain of salt since I'm only one person who wasn't the closest to them. And with how much drama that went down in particular circles of the creepypasta content community it could be hard to say who was good and who was bad.
Thanks for doing this fun little retrospective of the comic. It definitely was a nice little blast of the past for me. :)
I'm gonna be honest the twist for Zalgo and Slender was poorly planned and executed; cause you cannot tell that I'm supposed to hate a guy (slender) who was very nice to Lazari to turn into an evil dickbag and the guy who straight-up assaulted/groomed a minor(zalgo) was the good guy all along? I feel like this was a last minute twist that chibi-works made somewhere in development.

This was literally the only exposure I had to creepypasta compared to just the images. I was in loveeee with this comic dub and would always go back to hear it again. Glad to hear I wasn’t the only one who had this experience.

That wiki is kinda unreliable but also the marble hornets characters (hoody and masky) weren’t even proxies in the Og source material. They were fighting against slenderman (the operator in MH), but it was early on in the story, it was unclear what side they were on so many people thought they were like underlings of him. Those roles for proxies weren’t made when they were made (or even the actual proxies like Toby and Kate) so that’s why none of the characters fit it.
istg the only reason people drew masky like that was this one shot in i believe a totheark video?? it's where he's facing the camera and there's heavy shadows across his face obscuring the actual eyeholes of his mask making it look like his eyes are just black. so kinda funny that it wasn't even marble hornets itself that inspired the fanon design, fans took literally one shot of the character and ran so damn far with it, to the point that the vast majority of fans back then had never even seen a single video from the channel.

Yeah, Masky HATED the Operator. It’s also kind of implied that the Operator is his own schizophrenia coming into the real world, like an allegory for mental health. Or that’s what I think, at least.
Tim lost Brian and Jay because of the Operator. He screams when he sees him and has constant breakdowns because of him. He lost everything because of the Operator. To make the Slender Mansion idea work with Masky and Hoody, you’d have to involve a lot of bribery. Like maybe a way to communicate through the ark to talk to his friends in exchange for loyalty?
@@VoidMcNoid yeah, because the only ones who maintained some semblance of self were Brian and Tim, who were taking medication AGAINST the Operator (well, Brian was stealing it from Tim), whereas over time, you see Jay slowly become mad with the need for 'answers' to the point where he threatens Tim and Tim has to tie him up, and Alex is actively hunting down other people with the 'Operator Curse' and killing them. At least in my interpretation, Jay's involvement with Jessica was threatening her safety, and so Tim and Brian worked together to remove her from Jay before he could spread the Operator's influence to her. And at the end, we see Jessica and Tim talking with her being pretty well.
The ones taking medication were the ones with enough sanity to function without being entirely absorbed in their own goals, believing their way was the only right way, constantly throwing Jay off the path of discovery so as to not expand the Operator's influence and his own descent into madness. Jessica remained very much on the sidelines and was able to escape mostly unscathed. And we watch Jay and Alex become consumed by their own goals as worsened by the Operator's torment.
It was definitely a mental health allegory. I'm of the belief it was a commentary on how surrounding yourself with people who have a bad mental state will only worsen your own mental health issues until you become absorbed in your own collapse and drag others down with you. Jay and Alex became dangerous to those around them, with Jay dragging Tim back into the pits of his mental illness ("I was getting better!") and Brian purposefully manipulating him by withholding his medication and causing him seizures and distress with the intent to make him do what he wanted. Tim was trying to improve himself, but his association with the others' obsession was what reeled him back into the struggles he tried to leave in the past. It's only when each of them are removed that he's able to choose his own path and move forward.
Hhhhh IEPFB was my first introduction to Masky but now that I've watched Marble Hornets... this hurts me physically...... 😭😭😭😭

@purplepedantry I would say it's more infantilized than flanderized. And it strays so far from canon its practically a new character atp. The only thing they kept was the jacket & the mask (his body type, hair, personality, everything got scrapped away in the fanon/IEPFB design)

IT WAS FUCKINNGGGG PEAKKKKKKKKKKKK. Ok, but in all seriousness, I remember seeing the comic dub of it back when I was a wee lil 12 year old. I got really invested with the story and went to DA to actually follow the artist. While I don't remember crap about what the story was even about that got me invested, I loved the artist's OC designs. The monster looking ones were pretty solid designs and that's why I kinda stuck around since I wanna see more of her OCs.
Years later, I forgot about its existence then remembered. So I checked in on what the artist is up to and saw that they kinda made a rework of the whole comic, but instead of the known creepypasta characters, they actually used their own OCs to replace the creepypasta characters from the original comic.
But yeah, the one thing I really remember about the comic is about Lazari's demon transformation and for some reason how her body stayed older??? Even I thought it was a bit questioning when I was younger, but I never really cared too much about it coz the demon design was kinda cool.

My only experience with it eat pasta for breakfast was seeing a dub in my youtube recommended at like 12 years old and being genuinely confused about what it was. like i was pondering why someone would eat pasta for breakfast and what it had to do with the tall creepy suit guy
REAL, I remember when I was 11 my friend told me to watch the comic dub and it seemed really dumb but then I was invested and watched it every night after school. After that I began the spiral into other content like Ask Ticki Tobi (idk how to spell it) and non creepy pasta stuff that most kids watched when they weren't supposed to (salad fingers, llamas in hats, don't hug me I'm scared, avas demon, Becky Prim, etc.)

Judging from this video (I only read a little bit of this comic as a kid), I find it nuts that at the beginning of the story slenderman was portrayed as like a nice fatherly figure with a hint of moral dubiousness with a found family of fellow monster people and then later on is just a full on abusive person. And the rest of the gang being like his lackey's.
Even like the potrayal of Zalgo went from crappy disgusting awful guy to at the end a silly goose. That’s so odd in my opinion, it felt like the story was going into a different direction (even if it’s likely it wasn’t planned) in the beginning to be honest.
They did masky so dirty….it’s insane 😭
I swear, 90% of fan stuff involving masky completely ignores the marble hornets canon, like it's so hard to find art that doesn't make him a twink.
1- Despite how cringe my creepypasta phase was I enjoy every moment of it
2- I wish the comic was more character driven and slice of life. With some save the world aspect. Like just focus on the main proxy dynamic with each other as they have this found family aspect as Lazari try to get use to have a healthy and normal family.
3- I think it’ll be fine if Lazari had a crush on (great I forgot his nam 😅) as long as the older party doesn’t receptacle those feelings. Showing young kids that’s it’s normal to have crushes on older party figure as long as that older party doesn’t have a crush on them.

He's an adult and I can agree that adults shouldn't be returning a child's romantic feelings. Is it weird a child has adult crushes? Yeah, but I can agree that is very normal.

i used to be friends with ChibiWorks/Tobi on Deviantart a few years before she started making this comic, but that inevitably fell apart when she and i went into different fandoms.
the introduction of overpowered OCs was one of her storywriting traits, as we were working on a fantasy series together and i had to constantly have my OC fight her OC on who was the strongest character
she was fun to talk to, but seeing this comic after ten years, i’m cringing at all the stuff with Lazari and Lulu bc we didn’t know better back then (especially had we known that 9 year olds would be reading this comic 😵)
Oh yea the who ___erman brother thing was a huge trend back in the day I think. Arguably the best one is Splendorman bc he's jus a silly guy!! (tho ppl made him like. "obsessively overprotective YanDere brother!" type.)

I remember when this comic was ridiculously popular among the fandom, but even then as a kid, I hated this comic with a PASSION 😭😭 I only hated it because I thought it was a 'dumb mary sue comic' and I hated the fact that they had OCs in it when I wanted a story with the popular characters. Now years later after seeing your video, it's made me fully realize this comic was indeed poorly written, and pretty gross, and very dumb. Loved your review on it!

the concept of proxies actually does not exist in the marble hornets canon (at least not the webseries - i've never read the comics lol)!! i THINK (but do not remember fully so correct me if i'm wrong) that the concept of a "proxy" of slenderman originated with toby or another slenderverse project, but masky and hoodie were never intended on being that in their original media and it's entirely a fanon concept for them to be!

Just an fyi for some of yall but the entire creepypasta fandom draws Masky slim and not chubby. And honestly i see nothing wrong with his voice (some ppl in the comments are saying “why does he sound like that”). Not everyone is good at voice acting 😭 and i think they were on a time crunch to get the comic out. Comics/stories are annoying to make 😿 i just think they were having fun with it. Also Lazari seemed like a Mary sue in this story almost

If I remember correctly, the VA was also the VA for Masky in the Seer, which had a characterization of him being more of a meek boy. It worked since he kept getting the role in other projects and became a popular voice for Masky in the fandom at the time.

At around 22:47 you start consulting the Wiki about the rankings and I will say that it probably isn't the *best* source? Unlike a typical fandom, the Creepypasta Fandom doesn't really have much of a strict canon. Since basically every character has been created by fans, the lore often changes to fit different stories.
The proxy ranking on the Wiki is usually not commonplace in a lot of works. From my experience, most people tend to separate the character into two groups, Proxies, and Pastas.
Proxies are essentially the leaders, the ones directly under Slenderman who usually maintain the most control. Most commonly, these are characters like Masky, Hoody, Kate the Chaser, and Toby, though there are more. Pastas are basically everyone else. Killers who usually have some freedom and personality that do not have the authority of the Proxies. Some examples would be Jeff, BEN and Eyeless Jack.
My main point with this was originally that there's no strict canon within the Creepypasta universe, so IEPFB's interpretation isn't "technically" incorrect in that regard, not that it matters with all of the other problems within the series.😭
Something else to mention is that funnily enough, Marble Hornets isn't technically part of the Creepypasta universe? The creature haunting the characters is actually named The Operator, and while it shares a resemblance to Slenderman, it's been confirmed to be a separate entity. Not only that, but Masky and Hoody actively work against it! I always found this a bit funny seeing as how they're usually portrayed as Slenderman's most loyal servants within Creepypasta media lololol. Even the names "Masky and Hoody" were fanon. In the series, they're known as Tim and Brian, their masked personas are nameless. Though the Marble Hornets creators has begrudgingly accepted the odd nicknames, despite their dislike of them.
I didn't actually have a point with this I just really love ranting about this stuff because its SO interesting to me!! This is not meant to be a critique at all, I'm just rambling. Again, great video!!! :)
For 24:25, while a lot of stories do involve Slenderman removing the memories of the Creepypastas, (Ex. Ticci Toby) they don't necessarily have to be removed! There are a lot of stories involving characters retaining their memories too :)

when i was 10, i enjoyed this comic a bunch. then they stopped posting and it was sad. ever since then i just forgot about it. now that im almost 19, i find it extremely weird how lazari, a child, just randomly turned into a grown adult and etc.
God, I used to love IEPFB so much, I was *obsessed* with it. The idea of the creepypastas all living together in a found family has always been so interesting to me, but good lord I forgot how insane and not at all that this comic was. I think it also introduced me to the names Lulu and Lucille, which are genuinely some of my favorite names that I still use for characters to this day. I forgot how abusive Slenderman became near the end, was it just me or did that come out of nowhere??

From what I remember it really did come out of nowhere, which is the thing that I hated about the comic at the time (I was too dumb to realize all the wrong things in this comic and was a huge Slenderman simp, especially this IEPFB version since he was so nice and I liked the dubs voice) I was absolutely obsessed with it and wanted it to continue, but when it came to Slenderman being abusive part I was like: "Huh? What is this bs? Where did that come from? How? When? Why?"

I revisited this comic a while ago and somehow back when i first watched the comic dub it never occurred to me how all over the place it is. It's THE definition of a 'and then this happens' style of story telling. Like i guess i thought it was going somewhere but then it literally just ended out of nowhere and nothing was resolved, the dub didn't have that end bit that shifted art styles back when I watched it. You can tell by the very end the artist wasn't putting as much effort into the panels anymore.
It's really upsetting seeing someone work on something for so long and then when they're done with it looking back and thinking 'wow that's just some things that happened'. All of that felt like it was only the beginning of the story but nope that's it! And I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt as there's definitely a lot of context lost going from the original deviant posts to the dub so there was probably a lot more material fleshing these characters out. But damn if it isn't one of those cases where you could cut a majority of the characters out and nothing would change. Again it's sad seeing someone spend so much time on a fundamentally kinda nothing burger story.

I completely forgot about this series before I saw this video- I remember reading it when I was around 11 and thinking it was gross with all the sexual stuff (especially relating to children). It’s so interesting to come across video essay’s about things I read or watched as a child and realizing just how messed up they are/were.
Oh, i can fill you in on the slender lore lol "trenderman" was a meme that stemmed from someone taking a picture of a trendy looking mannequin and dubbing it Slenderman's trendy cousin. More people hopped onto the rhyming scheme and made more of them. So they're essentially just meme characters that a few people got really attached to, and worked into their fan works.
The writer for it [Toby] was actually really rude, I know like 3 people who survived them

no because even as a kid who couldn't really keep up with lore often in anything, even some of the things in this comic confused me so hard. some of the mc's choices and then the whole dream thing with the demon- ugh i just could barely understand with what's going on. and the consistent art changes would always make me double check to see if I'm still in the correct series

Okay sone stuff like proxy and stuff are somewhat more slenderverse like marble hornets. Slenderverse is somwhat its own thing,the ranks stuff may not apply to some of creepypasta characters. And also even then proxy was really loosely used in the creepy pasta fandom. It was just more a term used for anyone who works with slender man or lives in the mansion.

Surprisingly I never rlly had a big creepypasta phase, but having this comic as my introduction to creepy pasta at the ripe age of 9 was certainly something .. 😭😭
THIS WAS LITERALLY MY FIRST INTERACTION WITH THE FANDOM😭 it’s insane how I didn’t drop the fandom but then again I was a little kid with unrestricted access to the internet and more content got into my recommend and I got into my second fandom ever. Jane is my favorite along with Eyeless Jack being a second.
Oh my god I remember watching this as a kid in a public library on a pair of gaming headphones I got and was horrified when I found that they were the least soundproof headphones in existence and everyone in the library heard me listening to this 😭😭😭
The reason why I think the comic just fell off was due to people demanding more of the comic to be made it causing the artist to just stop and turn the thing upside down.
Also the slender brothers were made way before this comic plus slenders dad was just put in there as a gag not to be taken seriously and Jane isn't dead it was just played off like a joke.
I fondly loved this series cause of the times of old internet and creepypasta.

With creepypasta, nothing is canon. Creepypasta is just a bunch of horror stories. What makes well known characters like Slenderman, Masky, Hoodie, Eyeless Jack, Jeff the killer, and other well known feel like their canon to the creepypasta lore is that their stories were popular and spread around for them to be so. Meaning ocs like Eyeless Lulu, Killing Kate, Puppeteer, Ticci Toby, Sally, etc, etc can become popular and become 'canon' to creepypasta. With this alot of these characters as well aren't even known for their canon information(i.e story and official lore) because of the Fandom. Alot of the Fandom have made fanon things that become so well established in creepypasta. One main example is that slenderman adopts people and lives in a mansion in the words, Slenderman has siblings that go with names(I even made one called tenderman), Toby likes waffles, masky loves cheesecake, and official shippings(i.e toby x Clockwork).
Alot of information changes woth these characters too making things change as well(but usually ignore it) like Toby not being in creepypasta cause his creator took him out of it and Sally being aged.
I went off track a bit. i was just trying to give some creepypasta info since I'm been in the fandom since 2013.
With the chibi-work, I will say I never realized how confusing the plot of IEPFB got. And can say she made another comic call withdraw which had a better focus plot.(you can tell I have no idea about her drama and wish there was a video about it to learn more).
(You should also talk about the creepyasta comic adventures with Jeff the killer and friends, it was a fun read younger but thinking back was really werid)

@Mx_Rabbit yes it did! But to alot of people who joined and didn't know where masky and hoodie originated from only know masks liked cheesecake and didn't know why, so it just became a silly thing to make the creepypasta characters not so scary and well silly.

The only experience in had with this series was oddly specific: i was never a creepypasta fan as a kid but ended up listening to a comic dub of it because i was playing wii party (Marching orders specifically) and it came on on autoplay. I was too focused on the game to pause it and find music and therefore wasn't really paying attention.
Just thought it was a funny story, im glad that it wasn't my proper introduction to creepypasta as a whole but it was my first experience with it even if i wasn't listening

Man..missed these old days and no matter how many people hate it...i will love it to death.
in my older age i can appreciate the humanization of monsters (they gotta eat too and if their main food source is humans, then human it is) but this comic was just never it. it's way too anime inspired for my taste, and by that i mean it has too much questionable fan service. otherwise monsters living together like it's a sitcom is just a really funny premise.
I think what would've been a better plot, would be slender found lazari keeping her close after finding out she was a demon, and formally training her to be a weapon against zalgo, or if he used her to an advantage such as if knowing zalgo would want her or wouldent. Knowing how zalgo is actually portray id say he wouldent care if she died much considering he could make another. He is the embodiments of evil in a way so i dont think hed care to much, unless he was short on demons. Slender would train lazari and would take advantage of her strength.
With her being his he may have fought to get her back. Only i could see it more as he would only want her back to take away slenders advantage. Stripes being her sister possibly would have hidden her away to stay with sadiya, mostly to keep her alive. Ending with them both realizing they dont have her. both Zalgo and Slender sending out demon and proxies to find her. If zalgo would care to keep her around he could maybe even find her, maybe even act sweet, manipulate her to find Slender and the others bad. Telling her they were only useing her. Lazari gets a bit upset and is skeptical and hesitant. Considering slender would have taught lazari about zalgo, lazari seeing zalgo with kindness would have made her trust him despite her better judgment, and with him pointing out they were useing her only makes it better for her to be on his side. Lazari not knowing who to trust would ran away (stupied ik) but gets found by Ej,(im against them being togather its just to weird so put them as friends) he tells her theyve been worried and brings her back, to an ansty slender. Lazari is still nervous with them as she still hangs onto zalgos words. Slender puts on an act to try and soothen her. However despite this she thought slender would be mad considering she ran away, flashbacks of her life with her mother comeing back and she feels anxious. I want to say that lazarus is also driven by fear and instinct and not only hunger, so he would drive her. She would then turn into a demon and would attack them unable to control it. Considering slender is way to focused on getting her down, Zalgo track her knowing she with them. Lazari almost kills slender, now seeing him as a threat. But shes still a kid and dosnt want to kill, she gets off and backs away and runs off outside but then is met with zalgo and a few other demons lazari runs right to his arms as shes now scared and dosnt know what to do..Zalgo let her lead him right to slender.
I don't know why zalgo wouldent attack slender already considering his lead all other demons, and it's not like he couldent leave the underrealm so what if he just didn't know where they are, or slender has a force that keeps them hidden, hence why zalgo never got to close. Sadiya and ell realizing that's she gone gose to find him, and with zalgo bringing down there force, can now find them.
Although these are just ideas, it could end with lazari being killed by zalgo considering she is a weapon slender can use, or it could end with lazari destroying the mansion and Zalgo takeing control of mid realm/or earth realm. Because the mansion is destroyed everyone was left on there own..Now haveing to come back togather and stop zalgo. With the part of the story I wouldent know how it would end, but I hope you enjoyed this, sorry it's so long

I found this series on RUclips when I was still in elementary school, and I clicked on it having no idea what creepypasta even was. I spent all afternoon binging every dub I could find of it, and I remember thinking that the plot made no sense and just being really uncomfortable that they made her older just to make her more sexual. I fully blame that day for being the start of the chain reaction that led me to writing angst fanfiction

I was into this comic in the past... Who was going to explain to me that this shit WASN'T just a cute found family story? (To be fair, I barely paid attention and only saw some silly creepypasta characters being a little family with some angst sprinkled in...)
Bit of praise before getting into my opinions: Great video, it was really well made and I can tell that you, even when not knowing how exactly everything functions within Creepypasta still tried to make it as concise and understandable as possible for viewers! And if you ever wanna cover more of Creepypasta, I'd recommend checking out things on the Video horror side of things such as Tribe Twelve, Dark Harvest, or EveryManHybrid along with Marble Hornets of course. I'm pretty sure the former 3 happen in the same setting whilst Marble Hornets is a show in their world, also, don't stress on the whole proxy thing, it's definition has always been weird in and of itself, you've already had Marble Hornets corrected so I won't bring that up but surely looking forward to more content from you.
I consider myself lucky that I wasn't only in CreepyPasta because of this comic. EJ has also been one of my Favourite Creepypasta's since I first heard of him and how he was done in this story even bugged me back then. I saw his opinion on Lazari 100% justified because of what she had done to him, I also never really had an attachment to Lazari in this story, I enjoyed seeing every other (actually written) creepypasta's "storyline's" more than her's (aside from Lulu's, I just do not like that Pasta or her character)
Years ago, when I first read this story, I somehow had the understanding to grasp how illogical the entire things was. I'd see character's who clearly weren't Pasta's, the random art style shifts, I straight up didn't like how randomly the character's intentions and motivations changed along with their portrayal. Nearing the end of the comic I just thought of the series as the comic embodiment of a run on sentence. It was just the author adding more whilst not truly displaying the world they came from and the hand waving of character arcs and information on said characters. After a while I just realized your brain had to be off to enjoy it. I DO wanna state that Lazari's age jump was so frickin sudden to me that upon my first time seeing that form of hers I thought that I had missed a couple chapters or that a timeskip might've happened. But no, just her being able to change her appearance. The random bouts of violence from character's always annoyed me because what'd they get mad over? Oh and Femboy Twink Vampire Zalgo needs to be erased from history because I hated that basic ass design even bac then because we had seen hi as a better looking demonic monstrosity. By the end of the comic, I kinda just thought of Lazari as more of a Mary Sue than an actual character because of how non-sensical everything was. --------END RANT

Wow, a video about my favourite creepypasta comic. This is crazy, I’ve been such a long fan of it, I don’t think I had watched the comic dub before (maybe I have but I can’t remember) but I did read the entire comic! This comic was my childhood and I’m pretty sure it’s the very thing that introduced me to creepypasta but I’m not too sure.. either way, one of my most favourites and one of my first ever creepypasta experience!!!
Anyway I’m a bit obsessed with this comic and its characters and lore, I love everything about it (other than the sort of weird relationship between Lazari & Jack had, the mischaracterization of some or most of the characters (especially Masky from what I saw the comments say) as well as the plotholes I guess). I quite literally adore this comic solely because the characters are affiliated or somewhat affiliated with Zalgo! Who is possibly my most favourite creepypasta character and god do I love how the comic treat Zalgo, it’s so humiliating to the actual creepypasta honestly

Masky and hoodie aren't supposed to be proxies, or at least in marble hornets they 100% are not. They actually are against the operator (slender man). The Fandom really made them proxies based on misunderstanding their source material
