I don’t think either men or women purposefully choose to be single. It’s often the result of not been able to get the desired men or women and often times a man or woman doesn’t have the prerequisite qualifications for the partner they want. A woman who is not aesthetically top tier cannot realistically expect to obtain a man who is a graduate of a top university and one of the top earners in the country or one in a six figure bracket or more. The exact description can be made for a man who wants a top tier woman of beauty but not in possession of the financial resource to provide a lifestyle for her. I don’t think I could refute any of your arguments but will enlarge them by saying every point you make is also applicable to women. The inability for anyone to communicate their emotions is often a cognitive deficit as literature, poetry and the high arts are educators of the emotions and sufficient education isn’t devoid of engagement in the arts. When men and women are spoken about it’s often in generalities that ignores social class, culture and socialisation. The breath that women waste criticising men could be used speaking to men that are economically productive but often those men don’t desire those women as most of the elite universities in Britain has a high proportion of students marrying each other and the quantitative data for these are Oxford, Cambridge, Durham and St. Andrew’s. I think it’s the lowbrow men and undesirables your speaking of. The refined and cultured men wouldn’t be tailored for your criticism or description
