The judges and producers obviously wanted Erin to win. This is the only Project Runway season that had three unconventional challenges in a single season. They knew that Erin is an innovative designer.
Basically 2 is minimum, one is the least/3 is max if budget can goes. What your point out is possible but false is on the way they plan on challenge each week cuz thay stacking 2 in the row. The first and last unconventional of season is right for me but last ep is what erk me a tad though, usually the Avant-garde is stand alone no other dimension (mix unusual material with-it too much), but i wanna point out that when vehicle sponsorship came as challenge....also unconventional always (like ss5)
I don’t understand the idea of making their designers travel to different states for a day just so you can promote a hotel. Imagine how hectic that is on them.
@@tseamus8288 that is the difference between the old and new show. New show with Christian cared more about the mental health and fatigue the contestants faced while the old show ran by Harvey Weinstein was all about promoting sponsors and his movies.
And a lousy hotel chain at that. I thought Roberi’s prize was so mehh. i’m not excited at the thought of staying at a Best Western. and for 50 nights?? lol
This group from Project Runway stands out as exceptionally talented, unlike any other season. Give them anything, and they’ll transform it into something breathtaking every single time..
All designers have slayed both the unconventional challenges back to back! Priyanka Chopra is an amazing guest judge. She motivated every designer and gave them positive but constructive feedback!

also even s11 top 5 has a inspiration trip for last challenge (except ones for penalties) but those who goes outside....they in Europe (England,France,Spain and Germany) that's weird Team theme of that season might tight budget well for themselves to flew them away

This was a very strong runway, there was no bad one. It really just preference by the judges.
