- Talented emerging fashion designers from around the world gather with one goal in mind: to be crowned the new fashion prodigy and win the title of ‘Design Genius’. The fashion-packed competition series pits three designers against each other competing for recognition and the chance to win $25,000. Outrageous fashion designer-turned-reality star, Indashio, hosts and judges the series.
In each episode, three designers are surprised with three unconventional materials and one inspirational element. They must create an accessory, undergarment, and wardrobe using only the items provided. “It’s amazing to watch these designers create high fashion garments out of bicycles, beach balls and first-aid kits, and then bring these individual pieces together to create an overall vision,” explains New York City’s famed Indashio. “It’s about making the unimaginable fashionable!!” With crippling time constraints, obscure materials and unpredictable inspirations, designers will battle it out and find their design skills pushed to the limit.
Each designer will have to be flexible, inventive, creative, and display a unique talent for designing with unconventional materials. In the end, there can be only one Design Genius!

This is a poorly done fashion reality show. I feel bad for the designers because they didn't have a proper treatment.
The host is soooo annoying. I couldn’t watch the whole episode.

You're missing the whole point of the show hahaha. Just saying.
They need much more time and a less aggro host. You can light a fire under your designers booties without being so aggressively rude. I can't even watch the next one, it's too traumatic to watch 😆. These designers should audition for Making the Cut or Project Runway, where they'd at least be treated with more respect.
Why is he screaming all the time? Does he know that there are these devices called microphones?

OMG, very hard contest! Also, that pants! The participants should not be so hard with theirselves, just impossible challenges to do, it's like throwing a dice and who get the number closer to 2 win the 25000$ Maybe easier and less boring.

The host is really trying..i see where he's trying to go...it's just put together so weird
you give them materialsthat they're not used to, irrelevant inspiration and little to no time and get surprised to why "bandages look like bandages and maxi pads look like maxi pads"? and you call it unimaginable fashion and then manage to choose the most selling item?
Bad knock off of Project Runway.
I guess you never watch sequels or shows that are spinoffs of a popular show. Or never eat in a franchise with more than one location.
