Thank you for helping to show AND explain. I replaced the lights and still didn’t work. It HAS to be the fuse. Momma is on her own while Dad is busy making the bacon 😊
So headlights and turns signals work..Headlight switch I thought was bad got a new one and still can't turn on parking lights or headlights on stays on auto..
on a 2004 gmc sierra is there a wrong way to plug in daytime running lights relay that is not marked only with a embossed dot on top right of new relay
Yes, very helpful, However I cannot figure out how to get the lower inner parking or running light to work, new bulbs and sockets both will not come on???? thanks for am direction to look
Here is a question for you. I have the very same truck. My right headlight burnt out so I bought replacement bulbs for both sides and put them in. Now I only have one high beams on the driver side and only one low beam on the passenger side!! In other words when the high beams are on the passenger side gos dark, when the low beams are on the drivers side goes dark! What is causing this? I checked all the fuses and relays all good. Checked the wiring no breaks?
What if only one side of the my lights keep going off? I have taken it apart and cleaned the plug twice. Both times it has come back on and worked for a few months. Then it goes out again.
I have an 06 Silverado. Owners manual says nothing about the dome light fuse location. My dome light quit all other lights work. Any help would be appreciated.
Lights dont come on..I have no highbeam or lowbeam wen my truck is running..signals work fine..break lights as well..and no daylights doe..could it be my signal switch..?
Would a relay or fuse be the problem if my daytime running lights flicker? Also a clicking noise from up their when I turn the key to the run position, but it starts fine. Another relay or fuse blown or going?
10 red fuse bottom of starter fuse Kees blowing and truck won’t start or turn signals don’t work unless I replace fuse again or hot wire the truck but the turn signals won’t work how do I fix, is it a wire messed up
I just replaced my fuse box, tried all the relays I could but my high beams don't work. If I use a paper clip they do but I can't figure it out for the life of me. If I swap over a fog light relay still the same even though the relay works on the fog lights
Thanks brother, this keeps me from entering the uncharted world of fuses completely blind. Great starting point. Thanks again.

@@danielwilder6185 Sounds like a crossed wire or connector somewhere... which I realize isn't very helpful.
For testing would be better to jump pin 30 to pin 87. Could be to much amp draw for pin 85 which probably comes from the pcm as a trigger.
Which fuse is the license plate.I have a 2005 GMC Sierra pickup 1500 ??
What if only one side of the my lights keep going off? I have taken it apart and cleaned the plug twice. Both times it has come back on and worked for a few months. Then it goes out again.

Often caused by a bad ground in the dome light housing. Open up, check for voltage to light, clean contacts.
