If your health may be measured by your presentation, you sound just like you did pre-port. So you must be doing very well indeed. I’m happy to hear you.
A most interesting departure from turning in this video. Lasers have fascinated me for years. Now you have a desktop laser that engraves and cuts. It is simple in concept, complex in engineering and works for it’s end user with nary a hiccup. Modern marvels at our fingertips .
Living in a trailer, I have no space to pursue hobbies like turning or engraving. But I do have an observatory and a small stack of telescopes. It keeps me as busy as I want to be, day and night. Many hobbies in which I cannot take part fascinate me. RUclips satisfies my vicarious pleasures by keeping me in touch with interesting people and their varied pursuits. Thank you.

Interesting machine. If I brought that home to my wife who spends nearly every day in my shop with her scroll saw making signs and earrings and such, she would chase me out of the shop with a stick. Glad to see you back Phil and hope you have more good days than bad.

Phil: My wife bought me an XTool D1 for Father's Day. It originally shipped with a 10w laser, but XTool rolled out a 20w even before the unit shipped. I traded in the 10w for a 20w, which finally arrived last week. I get to put it together and start using it as soon as I finish cleaning out the garage! With summer coming to an end here in North Texas, I hope to learn how to use it soon! I'm glad you've had some good days lately. I wish you many more! Happy lasering!

I went thru good and bad days. They can be tough. Started 10 ten years ago and have been clean for over five years. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am enjoying life, wood turning and watching your videos are a big part of that.
