I so envy the person who can see a picture in a blank canvas! I see, I copy, but never from something preconcieved! Thank you for the beautiful ideas! Great creations!💜💚💙💛👍😊
Thank you for showing us hobby crafters how to make beautiful cards without having to spend a fortune. So many videos by others are nothing but infomercials pushing very expensive products, and asking for coffee to boot! I quit watching them. Your videos are fun to watch and I’m learning so much. I like to try a new technique with cheaper products to see if I like it, before investing in more expensive products. I’m now buying the black stamp pad you are using all the time. I was surprised when you mentioned that you are making a living doing this. You are proof that it can be done without pushing viewers to buy products they can’t afford or won’t use. Thank you!❤
That onyx black is really the only black ink pad for me, tried loads and that one is perfect every time! And yes, 2 years running now im still making a living, It's not as much as id hoped id be making now, but for having had a rough year with my moms health and then not being able to film quite a bit, i really cant complain. The best thing is that as long as i keep going my income only goes up
Wow what a great way to make some watercolor backgrounds. I love them all, especially the black stamping. It really pops on the colored backgrounds. Thanks for sharing such a fun idea.
I remember we were asked to make use of Daddy's old shirts for painting and clay modelling when my children were at infant school, and it was really funny to see all the tiny tots in adult-sized cover-alls. They still needed faces, hands and hair washed clean, but the clothes were well protected. Happy days.
What a cool idea! I am subscribing because of your common sense, use of items already on hand, use of scrap items, and manageable video length. Well done!
As to being eco-friendly, I actually wash and save my plastic wrap. Love the idea of using the tissue after as a card cover/background, like napkin cards!!
Great ideas 👍 For the last one I would just tone down the flower with a white wash, simple yet effective. Add a sentiment et voila, you have a card! Thanks for your inspiration!
What a cool technique, and a beautiful selection of cards you've created! I didn't know you could get such lovely color off of tissue like that! Thanks for sharing!
Wow Sasha! I love how you turned these into cards! They are beautiful! For your last red/yellow card, I wouldn't do anything else on the outside, however, I would orient the white space at the top. I would put the sentiment on the inside.
Fantastic ideas once again Sasha, thank you. I also love the last two…stunning..beautiful stamps so will go on line to have a look. 😊For the two you asked for ideas on how to finish them. What about water colouring the flowers and leaves in a darker or lighter shades.. I’ve seen that done on vellum and it looks amazing so think it would work on the water colour paper. The fussy cut cards are stunning. God bless
I had no idea where you were going with those backgrounds but the way you finished them was brilliant. They are stunning and I love that holographic card stock. It picks up every color you used. Fantastic use of your supplies.
Great ideas and beautiful results. My mom has problems with her hands, but I’m pretty sure she could do this. We rarely get to do crafts together anymore, so I can’t wait to try it out!
You've inspired me to go through my collection of watercolor backgrounds and use some of them. The black designs on your backgrounds are very dramatic. I really like the effect. Thanks for always coming up with new and interesting ideas.
Sasha, I adore your creative ideas and creations! Offering your viewers multiple budget options when getting crafty, is very thoughtful of you. The left card idea, I thought you could use colored pencils to color in the flower, and you could totally make it a holiday seasonal card.
Hi Sasha, Love your take on the hacks! The left card, I would put a panel of vellum on top and turn it into a shaker card. Maybe with a tiny bow and a few sequins or enamel dots. Carol-Lynn Hope you show the cards again!
Cute cards ... my experience is my local dollar store's tissue paper is colour fast but could substitute watercolour paints with napkin backing sheets ... Thanks for another fun tutorial 😍
Your favourite cards are my favourite too! As for the last two, could you paint the flower on the one with the pink background (on the left) with gold, would that work? If that would look awful, perhaps just add some gold splatters to the image... Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure it will look great. TFS as always xxx
ohhh Sasha!! you might not like fussy cutting but woohoo it looks so nice on those last 2 cards!! They are gorgeous! I also really like the pink and yellow one and that corner floral... so so nice! but that one on the left, hmm... perhaps more fussy cutting?, it kind of looks like a blood bath from here 😄😬... lol love your videos and creations! TFS again!
I know for the amount i hate to fussy cut, those 2 were my fave by far. ha ha a bloody bath, it is pretty crazy. Someone suggested using coloured pencils over it, that might be the way forward!
Hi. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful cards, I love the lilac/pink ones. The left hand card I think I would try a clear shimmer pen over the top of the flowers but only if it's not likely to mess it up by causing the colours to run or make a poor mix. Maybe I'd add some Glossy Accents to the floral print to help it stand out a little more as well as giving it a bit of dimension or just over the outline. Perhaps even something that would give a dimensional metallic outline to the stamped part or some fine glitter around the outside edges of the flower stamp......given time I might come up with more but that's just off the top of my head and I'm sure you have a whole load of ideas that would be far more suitable. Thanks again for sharing your skills and knowledge.
Never thought of using tissue.. Great fun and definately inspirational. Myself I think I would just have added a large CONGRATULATIONS Die. It is so beautiful as it is and doesnt need anything which would detract from that. Thank you again
Sasha, I absolutely love these cards! I need to get better at making backgrounds and this idea is an awesome one. I just bought a ton of Distress reinkers. So this is the perfect time to try the technique. Happy New Year!
Hi Sasha. I wasn’t really impressed with your backgrounds as you were doing them but then when you finish the cards … WOW! They are just gorgeous!! With the two at the end the red background overpowers the stamped image. To tone it down my suggestion would be to stamp the floral image on some vellum and fussy cut the flower section. We all know how you secretly love to fussy cut 😂. Keep up the fantastic clips. Cheers 💋Scrap Ibis Ronnie
WOW......I mean just...WOW! I just Loove the ideas you come up with! You are soo Super Creative! I wish I had your Brain 😃 Love this technique, I will definitely have to try it out 🤗 Have a Blessed Day Sasha
Awesome backgrounds & cards, Sasha! I love the techniques you demonstrated. I was thinking, if you used food-safe coloring dye with the plastic wrap, it might be a neat way to color Easter eggs. I wonder if the gel dyes you use to color frosting/icing might work too for that. (Probably not for paper, though! 🙂) Hmmmmm...I might have to give that a go next year. As you said, though, it's a shame there isn't a more eco-friendly way to do it. Thank you for sharing. Take care, & have a wonderful day! 😊
oh you have so so many ideas! i love it! and Yes food colouring is another great item you can use in crafting! I bet some old recycled bubble wrap would actually work just as well as cling film wouldnt it...
Love how you are using the colors so they're soaring up towards the top/the sky! And very interesting to see the results with different inks/techniques. And once you do a lot of backgrounds in one go, these are fast cards, as long as you have a stash of sentiments in your jar. For your question on the last two cards: I would've used a poppy stamp rather than a sunflower. Or hibiscus, lily - anything that wouldn't look quite so blood-stained, sorry for being bold here. Could you possibly add some yellow and green over top, maybe glitter gel? I usually print my sentiments, very often black background/bold white font, so I'm not reliant on having the right sentiment stamp. So if you don't want to add any color, I would go for a sentiment such as "SPLASH!" or "Last time you looked, sunflowers were yellow" and "and last time you looked, we were young" on the inside. Thanks for this wonderful video, very inspiring!
Love these Sasha! I see you have the HeroArts white pigment ink pad. I bought one but can’t find a re-inker for it. Can I use any white pigment re-inker? Thanks in advance. 😊❤️🇨🇦
oh yes, i just had this idea in my head that i wanted it to look gradual, and then i was also thinking... what if i want to stamp a sentiment directly onto my card, then i had a place for it, ha ha. I meant to say that but i got to carried away with myself
I so envy the person who can see a picture in a blank canvas! I see, I copy, but never from something preconcieved! Thank you for the beautiful ideas! Great creations!💜💚💙💛👍😊
My jaw dropped when I saw you use the tissue paper! Love these techniques! The black designs were absolutely gorgeous!

Always love seeing that holographic card stock utilized. It gives such a nice pop of color 😍
Wow what a great way to make some watercolor backgrounds. I love them all, especially the black stamping. It really pops on the colored backgrounds. Thanks for sharing such a fun idea.
I see a fun paint day with my grandkids in my future ….but maybe next summer when I can hose everyone off.LOL😅 thanks Sasha❤️
ha ha ha, yes that is the biggest downside to crafting with young ones!
I remember we were asked to make use of Daddy's old shirts for painting and clay modelling when my children were at infant school, and it was really funny to see all the tiny tots in adult-sized cover-alls. They still needed faces, hands and hair washed clean, but the clothes were well protected. Happy days.

Very cool backgrounds Sasha. They really highlight the florals beautifully! Thanks for all the ideas.🌷🌷
Definitely want to try the tissue paper! Thats brilliant. Plus so many colors to choose from! Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic! I’ve got leftover tissue paper from paper flower decorations years ago :-)
Wow Sasha! I love how you turned these into cards! They are beautiful! For your last red/yellow card, I wouldn't do anything else on the outside, however, I would orient the white space at the top. I would put the sentiment on the inside.
Very beautiful backgrounds and wonderful cards 🥰❤️
Love those lace paisley designs!
How clever with the tissue paper! And the cards are beautiful!
Awe thank you so much Barbara
Your backgrounds were amazing - and three different ways to achieve them. I think the more intense colors would look good with white embossing, too.
Very beautiful backgrounds with the tissue paper!! Love the watercolors as well!!! Thank you Sasha!!!💖
I love how you finished these gorgeous backgrounds! I'm going to try this, using acrylic paint, later today. Thanks for the inspiration!
Fantastic ideas once again Sasha, thank you. I also love the last two…stunning..beautiful stamps so will go on line to have a look. 😊For the two you asked for ideas on how to finish them. Wow! I'd never have thought to use tissue paper that way,it looks amazing! Thanks for sharing Sasha.x
it's really fun stuff to work with really. Thank you for watching :)
We rarely get to do crafts together anymore, so I can’t wait to try it out!
oh that would be so lovely. I hope this could work for her. She could do all the backgrounds and you could do all the stamping
Thanks for the great techniques. I think you should paint the card on the left with perfect pearls or metallic paint.
You've inspired me to go through my collection of watercolor backgrounds and use some of them. The black designs on your backgrounds are very dramatic. I really like the effect. Thanks for always coming up with new and interesting ideas.
Awe thank you so much Lucy, and so pleased you feel inspired to get more creative
Gorgeous cards Sasha, TFS these techniques. Crafty hugs Sarah xxxx
Really cool, I never knew that about tissue paper. Beautiful colors. Gorgeous cards.
yes, tissue paper is great fun in crafting, so many different techniques you can do
How beautiful! Thank you for these great ideas!!!
Great technique. I like the vibrant ones with the Alina's stamp but then you showed the ones that are your favourite and I love those too.
ha ha i know it's all so blooming addictive and they're all so pretty!
Sasha, I adore your creative ideas and creations! Offering your viewers multiple budget options when getting crafty, is very thoughtful of you. The left card idea, I thought you could use colored pencils to color in the flower, and you could totally make it a holiday seasonal card.
Oh that's a great thought, i forgot about my pencils!!! Thank you :)
That is fabulous! I love how you create these and then make a card from it. I have backgrounds that are waiting to become cards.
The red one would make a nice Christmas card!
Great ideas there and I love the finished cards. Thanks
Enjoyed this video very much some great ideas and will make some beautiful cards thank you for sharing have a blessed day

Another lovely video, Sasha. Thank you for all the time and energy you give to us; I always get excited when you pop up into my day!
Hi Sasha, Love your take on the hacks! The left card, I would put a panel of vellum on top and turn it into a shaker card. Maybe with a tiny bow and a few sequins or enamel dots. Carol-Lynn Hope you show the cards again!
OH yes yes yes! I love shaker cards!!! oooo im going to have to think about doing that one
Cute cards ... my experience is my local dollar store's tissue paper is colour fast but could substitute watercolour paints with napkin backing sheets ... Thanks for another fun tutorial 😍

Gorgeous Sasha. Great inspiration and fab use for tissue paper!
Thank you so much for watching Laura
Try substituting crepe paper for the tissue paper in this process. TFS. From Cheryl in AZ.

oh another amazing idea! Just to tone down the flowers would be great so they pop a bit more!
ohhh Sasha!! you might not like fussy cutting but woohoo it looks so nice on those last 2 cards!! They are gorgeous! I also really like the pink and yellow one and that corner floral... so so nice!
but that one on the left, hmm... perhaps more fussy cutting?, it kind of looks like a blood bath from here 😄😬... lol

@@SashaReade yes! That's a good idea to colour it in somehow! I'm sure you'll come up with something stunning!
What a cool idea! Going to try it with my granddaughter.
yay! Have fun!
Love this idea I will give it a try, also going to try strips of tissue on the card then wet it. Thanks for all your demos.
Sounds like you're in for a super fun day! Make sure to wear gloves or you'll be wearing the colours :)
Thanks for the info! Your favorites were mine too.
Gorgeous cards!!

Oh fabulous ideas Deb!!! Love them all, now to pick what to do...
@@SashaReade Yep and that's the really difficult part for me, making a decision. I sometimes miss the impulsiveness of youth for this very reason! 😄
@@deballen7031 I'm with you there, Deb! I wonder sometimes if I was ever young...
Never would have thought of this!! So fun!
Great ideas! TFS 🙏🌸
Fun technique. This would be fun with the grandkids.
Massively fun, and then you could just shove them in the bath afterwards to let them soak off all the colours :)
Never thought of using tissue.. Great fun and definately inspirational. Myself I think I would just have added a large CONGRATULATIONS Die. It is so beautiful as it is and doesnt need anything which would detract from that. Thank you again

I like this idea.
I wonder how it would look if you painted the leaves green and then cut it out and mounted it? The one on the left that is
ooo that could look really pretty!
Hi Sasha, always looking forward to your videos, they are so full of ideas and creativity! Thanks for doing these.Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
Awe thank you so super much Nicola :)
I love your work❤
Beautiful
Good idea 🥰
Hi Sasha, I LOVE this technique! Particularly the tissue paper. Did you use watercolour paper? ❤️
yep at the start of the video i share the brand i use and why im using watercolour card :)
Stunning 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you :)
Cards are beautiful. Question, is there a reason you leave the top of your cardstock white?
oh yes, i just had this idea in my head that i wanted it to look gradual, and then i was also thinking... what if i want to stamp a sentiment directly onto my card, then i had a place for it, ha ha. I meant to say that but i got to carried away with myself
Oh this is amazing idea
Very nice!
