I love the stained glass card and all the rich darker colors!… It reminds me of a big door… maybe make the black belly band as you planed but where the parts meet or in the middle of it glue a Victorian or some decorative doorknob of your color choice, maybe antique gold, pewter, brass Or copper metallic paper. Then you just pull it off and on like a normal belly band. I have bigger dies and a big enough die cut machine, to try these designs, so thank you for sharing!👍💕
I sure hope we get to see what you decide to do with that beautiful stained glass window! You have So many options! It also looks like you could trim around the top and the columns could become candles! 🤷♀️ Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed watching once again!
Love love the Ballon card it I my grandsons 10th birthday on the 10th of Oct and I am going to card lift your idea all the cards are lovely never thought use a double belly band
Wonderful cards, Sasha! When you showed the cut-out on the window-shaped card, that you thought of using as a belly band, my immediate thought was it looked like a belt. I would glue 2 strips together so they are longer than the width of the card. Make sure one end is the square end & the other is the rounded end of the strip. Cut a "belt buckle" shape with a middle piece from sturdy cardstock, making sure it's somewhat taller than the height of the band. (That will give you room to pass the end of the band through the buckle.) Add glue to just the front of the middle bit of the buckle, thread the square end of the band through, & glue the end of the square end of the band to the middle bit of the buckle. Then you can weave the rounded end of the band through the buckle to close it, just like a belt. You could then either glue the rounded end to the other part of the belt, so the belly band/belt slips up & down on the card (like a "normal" belly band), or leave the rounded end loose, so the recipient can pull it back out from the buckle, like with a regular belt. I wish I could demonstrate with a video or photo series, but hopefully my description makes sense. Anyway, thank you for sharing your cards and all your great ideas for using larger dies. Good way to stretch our supplies. Sending belated birthday wishes to your daughter. Take care, & have an awesome day! :)
oh my days, i think i should post it to you and let you unleash your creativity. Gosh your brain works well as a crafter! I love it. I love that you took the time to write all that out as well. Ha ha You're fab! Thank you, and thank you for the bday wishes and compliments. Feeling crafty loved today for sure :)
Those cards were so beautiful thank you for sharing I gonna have to watch that video over and over and over again because those cards were just so wonderful and your voice is so soothing I love to listen to you talk❤
awe Sheryle, you are just the kindest! I honestly thought this video was going to be rubbish and people werent going to watch it. I struggled to get my words out at a couple points. Thank you for your lovely encouragement, it means so much to me
Oh yesterday was my birthday = 67th!! I hope your daughter's party 🥳 was great!Love to you and yours! We are under evacuation in Tampa Bay but I'm inland, not in a flood zone. But I worked hard today doing all the outdoor prep. Glad that's done and I can sit and enjoy your company! Love that arched window die from Pretty Gets Gritty! Love that red line tape! And I adore those vellum cards❣
Oh happy Birthday! Sorry to hear your area is under evacuation :( what a scary time. We have such mild weather here all year long, i just couldnt imagine what it would be like to have extreme weather. The most we've had is a couple pretty strong wind storms, but very mild in hurricane comparison! Keep safe
Stay safe Rebecca! We just got through with hurricane Fiona here in Nova Scotia, 🇨🇦 last weekend. We weren’t in the flood zone in our area but lots of people were in other places as well as our sister Provinces. We lost our power for about 15 hours but there are still thousands without power yet!
happy birthday to your daughter... I love your cards.. on the last card I would put a narrow belly band in black,, and glue a narrow sentiment on the belly band
Hi Sasha. Absolutely brilliant! I love the stained glass effect. I like the inner cutouts that you showed to use as a bellyband for your last card. TFS. Keep well. 💜🤗💗
I love your cards today. Love the belly band. Maybe add an embellishment where a doorknob would be? The first thing I saw in my mind with the band was a door.
Hi. My, my, my, you have been a busy bee.....so many fabulous cards all in one evening.I really wanted that arched window die right up until I saw the price, DOH! Just a bit out of my range.😂 Thank you for sharing all your wonderful skills, ideas and creations. They're superb.
Yes sadly dies can get expensive :( But keep an eye on it, they often have sales. You might be able to grab it at a discounted price at some point if it's one you love. Im also sure you've probably got something hiding in your stash that you could use as well :)
Beautiful cards and great ideas Sasha. For your last card…it were me, I would glue two of those black pieces together at the back of the card ( directly to the back) and put a small piece of Velcro on each of the front decorative edges to close it. (If that makes sense???) It’s a beautiful card.
@@SashaReade I buy them at Dollarama. They are 1/2” circles and they aren’t very thick or bulky and can be easily cut down to fit the project! This way you could make it ‘look’ like an actual belly band by only sticking it to the back panel of your card and hold it closed with the Velcro.
Thank you so much Sasha, I really really enjoyed watching you create those different cards and I really really love ❤️ them all. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Lovely video, but a shame you did't tape that little red flab to the inside of the card and adheted a page over that, than you would still have a beautiful glitter back of the card (as it is such beautiful cardstock....
Absolutely love that Gothic window! I think I’d just add gems here and there. Nothing blocking it and keep the greeting inside. All are gorgeous cards. I love your ideas. 😊❤️🇨🇦
Wouldn't this look better with a white or foil to be what is directly behind the stained glass? It just seems to me that the dark muddies up the stained glass effect..
That didn't work very well I was thinking the ones that you have punch holes in maybe you could send your daughter's school greeting in and it would be really pretty or you know just a pretty picture in the middle of it or Christmas scene I think it'd be really pretty
Seen this video for the second time, such clever card ideas and fab cards, thx so much.
Beautiful way to usr larger dies. I live them all, especially the stained glass ones. Thanks for sharing

Ever very good with the big dies. That’s for the great ideas.
I sure hope we get to see what you decide to do with that beautiful stained glass window! You have So many options! It also looks like you could trim around the top and the columns could become candles! 🤷♀️

oh yay! im so pleased it's given you some inspiration! Happy Crafting!
Lovely stained glass card...could have a bride and groom facing us on a belly band?
Maybe an angel?
Both really white and sparkly though
ooo those are some great ideas! thank you
You could add a key to the belly band. Thanks for the ideas! Happy birthday to your daughter
oh thats a lovely idea! Thank you :)
I LOVE keys
I love your cards! I must give them a try🇨🇦!

oh i know, i was so stuck thinking if i should have done that or not, and did the tab look that bad.. i LOVE that holographic card. so pretty and fun!
Absolutely love that Gothic window! I think I’d just add gems here and there. Nothing blocking it and keep the greeting inside. All are gorgeous cards. I love your ideas. 😊❤️🇨🇦
All I can say is, WOW! HOW BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Wouldn't this look better with a white or foil to be what is directly behind the stained glass? It just seems to me that the dark muddies up the stained glass effect..
i didnt fint it made a huge difference but if i do it again i think i will go with white behind for a bit more pop :)
I agree! I was so sad to see the colours become dull when the card was closed. But it is a nice pop when the card is open!
Best video I saw tonight- thanku- new sub PEACE
awe, thank you so much. Gosh what an amazing comment to get :) And welcome to my channel! hope you enjoy more videos
Fun!
Thank you
The arch card is spectular.
🤩🤩🤩
♥
Don't use the black belly band at all...it detracts from the overall card.
yea i hate the thought of covering up the pretty stained glass look
That didn't work very well I was thinking the ones that you have punch holes in maybe you could send your daughter's school greeting in and it would be really pretty or you know just a pretty picture in the middle of it or Christmas scene I think it'd be really pretty
