Do you have a hunting, kitchen, survival or souvenir knife collection? If you do, what's your favorite, go-to knife? Post it in the comments.
Gotta respect a man who admires knives. We're in that Tribe together, Cowboy. Safe travels. Be well
Nothing better than to listen to you talk about your life's collection of knives, would love more details on them, so much history there.
Looks amazing... Can never have to many knifes!
Wife might not agree from england.
Great collection, Cowboy. I still have the first knife my daddy gave me when I was a little girl. Guess that makes it an antique now.
Nice collection, never seen a folding knife holster "Texas quick draw sheath" like that before. Gotta get me one! Thank you Cowboy!
When you said Ruana I thought, "Wait, what?? He couldn't possibly have said that's a Ruana!".
Nice one! That's a VERY sought after knife....as you know.
Thank you for sharing 👍💯
Nice collection, never trust a man without a knife. I’ve got a pile of em too all sizes n styles.
I like how this fella doesn't know all the silly technical terms and details about the knives, he just knows what he likes and what works for him. That spring steel full tang blade his buddy made is beautiful.
I have over 300 knives , Most are store bought , But I do have a bunch of hand made custom knives . I carry two on me at all times when I am going out to do anything . One in my pocket and one in my boot . And a Derringer in 38 sp. in the other boot . Just in case . You can't have to many knives .
I love knives too. Thanks for sharing..
"BARLOW ~ WITH A ELK HORN HANDLE and A ALL STEEL BLADE, BEST DAMN
KNIFE EVER MADE!" Cajun 🔪
I have a knife that’s extremely similar to that short chunky bone chopper you showed. Got it from my wife’s grandfather in Staten Island NY. Best thing ever for cutting off catfish tails at camp.
I wouldn't say just another Old Timer (more ways than one); Those older Shrade Old Timers were USA (not since the late 90s) made high carbon blades. Takes a great edge. I've got quite a few. I pick them up every chance I get, swap meets, markets etc. Thanks for sharing your collection, only wish we could've seen them up close and personal. Maby on another vid someday. Also got a Texas fast draw sheath someone made me years ago. Great memories in those pieces. Cheers
"Push the button and it locks it" - no, you push the button and it UNLOCKS it.😊
Yes we here in Mississippi love our knifes… I got a few but not as many as you collected.. also want me a six shooter too … always said no to any pistol for myself because I might shout myself but I think now at 74 I’ve grown up…
Thanks for sharing your collection. I have been collecting knives since I was a little boy and still have my original Boy Scout knife. Like others have said, I had not seen the quick draw holster for a lock back before. I make knives and sheaths and I may try making one. When you pulled that RUANA out, I knew exactly what it was, Very distinctive and high quality. I have been very fortunate to collect a few and have one that I use for hunting. All the best to you Sir!
I carry a Buck Bucklite Max II it's the best buck I've ever bought and it's my go-to knife
THIS BY FAR IS THE BEST CHANNEL ON RUclips...
Thank you for the compliment! Glad you enjoy
Get you one of those if you do have one
Like that Ruana knife!
That sure is some more scenery in the background Mr. Cowboy......
Good thing you have that big ole school bus, Cowboy! How many more major collections you got in that big bad boy? 😉
Appreciate the guitar picking in the background too!
Hope you’re enjoying this winter in the desert. Big winds out of west here in Cibola. I-10 over the pass into the Blythe Valley must be a pretty wild ride for the last few days. Sand storms are rising up all over the valley. Hope it’s calmer where you are, brother!
Shalom, Cowboy.
That Ruana is a nice looking knife Cowboy
Yep, that Ruana is the one to have!
Sage advice that last statement.
My Grandpa gave me my first knife and taught me how to make a whistle out of a small branch. First you had to tap on the bark with the handle of the knife , then slide that tube of bark off. Make some cuts in the stick and then slide the bark tube back into place. I can't quite remember how the cuts were made and where the hole was placed in the bark for the air to come out. And so began my fascination and appreciation for knives. I found a tiny posket knife in an antique show a few years ago and it had Ireland stamped on the blade near the pivot point.
Of all the kids that played together in our little neighbor hood, I was always the one with the knife and usually the only girl. By the way, that's a sweet pistol ! WE ARE NOT PERMITTED TO CARRY THEM HERE IN the great white north. Unless of course your a criminal and then you do what ever the he'll you want and the rest of us citizens cannot defend ourselves. Cheers from Nova Scotia😊
I really like that knife your friend from Mississippi makes i like the design would like to buy one
