Love the tinfoil around his hat no one’s reading his thoughts or mind controlling him
The only other thing I'd recommend is a pair of chopsticks. Use your imagination, but I've used them for all sorts of things. You can get em in 304ss.
I would camouflage the tin foil.
How about some weed????
Not sure what my favorite prep was, the tinfoil hat cover, or the powdered water!
what kind of hatchet do you use?
Short and to the point.. what is powered water.. never heard of it before..
I do appreciate your time. I like your video already. Short, sweet, simple. Straight to the point. I am from Texas myself. At least I’m a southerner.
I have subscribed to a ton of survival channels. You had me with the hat! 😂👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Cowboys on the right track! Lol. His goods are great in his pokes. Well done.
glad to see some screws.. i carry about 20 nails... not too heavy but can be used for tons of things!
so, how is the cowboy these days? been missing your stuff for a while now! but i guess NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!
What the hell is powdered water??
If you find or bring potatoes that foil could be very useful-really it could be used to bake anything
Bro, where did you get that sick hat? It looks homemade. We need a full video tutorial on its construction. Lmao.
There seems to be a slight misunderstanding of sharpening in the comments. What the venerable cowboy did was absolutely fine for field work. For those that have little experience, you can sharpen a knife with a rock if you have to, that, or any other abrasive surface. The strop work in this case takes a little longer than it might at home with all your cool gear, but the carborundum produces a fairly rough scratch pattern, so, to remove the burr and polish the edge takes longer than it might on a workbench. Oh, the second stone, the ceramic one was just his way of showing that it's done with a similar action. Sharpening a blade in sections, particularly longer working blades is fine as long as you have that time acquired feel for it. Sharpening like this is absolutely fine if you know what you are doing. However, it's a challenge for the beginner, if you're starting out, it's probably best to learn the basics at the bench. Ask any old soldier if you can get a good edge this way and they'll say that you can.
Thanks for that!
😮 powered water. just add liquid water
🦅
The old school cowboy is dying, partailly because of the new school way of doing things but I've always considered the Cowboy to be a mentality and lifestyle not a profession, especially a profession preformed in a certain way. Where I think the truth in this short comes from is The Cowboy mindset as I call it is the mindset that isnt rush, rush, rush. It's get it done when it gets done. Just get it done by the time it needa to be done. Oh that fence in the east pasture is busted, well we aren't puttin anything out there until october so we have a couple of months to fix it but this well issue needs to be fixed now. See modern life teaches us stress over the fence and the well, and rush the well to get to the fence, even though the fence can wait. The Cowboy would mend the fence if he had time, if not we don't worry about it till closer to its use. It'll get done.
All you need is tinfoil to survive.
Contrary to popular belief ... foil hats do NOT help with credibility
Whatever works for you.
I would also add Batteries, a Poncho and Tape (Gorilla or Duct) .
100 % correct. You don't even need tin foil if your mental state of being as well as emotional health is good. 😊😊
Romans 10:9 King James Version 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
And hes 100% serious haha
Sir, this is one awesome video and you sound like a true and proper outdoorsman. Got a new subscriber for sure.
I always open my packages by shooting the tape off
I always thought it was not wise to carry non lethal methods of self defense (even though they’re asking for it)..cuz if they’re dead the state launches an investigation and if they live they’re likely not gonna press charges
Miss you Cowboy, I love watching your videos. I rewatch them almost every day, you’ve been a huge inspiration and you’ve helped me figure out how I want to live my life. I’m pursuing my dream of being a cowboy and a bull rider, I won’t stop until I reach those goals and when I get there, I will still think of you and your videos and I will thank you every day until I do it. We miss you Cowboy, hope you’re doing well 🤠
"Push the button and it locks it" - no, you push the button and it UNLOCKS it.😊
What is the best hat ya reckon like stetson or such
Yep. You nailed it.
13:15 fear of death is a bad soul condition. Like yourself, Cowboy, I’m no “Bible thumper” but I am a man who’s lived in several states in over 30 towns/cities. Known a lot of people. One truth I believe with all my heart is that Jesus is real. Scripture says that those who call upon Him shall be saved. There’s a big difference between a personal relationship with Christ versus adhering to manmade religion. I’m trying to do the former and have zero interest in the latter. I say “trying” because it’s a process. In order to be sincere it is. Hate to say it. I truly do. But the brands of “Christianity” I see in mc’merica today? I wouldn’t want much to do with any of them. But that’s not a Christ thing. It’s a people problem. Too many misusing or misapplying His name. It’s all in the Good Book. But no one wants to read that dusty old thing.
You are correct 💯
Cowboy, you are an inspiration whether you think so or not. Maybe your wisdom. Maybe your life experiences. Maybe just because you are REAL. I appreciate that and I hope to live that way too. My 71 trips around the Sun have given me a lot of chances to screw up. But I chose not to, overall. Be well and glad I found you here.
John 3:16 Jesus loves you

Hey Jerry, how are you doing? It's been a long time since we worked together. I still remember when we went camping in Texas and North Carolina. Those were the good old days. I bet you've seen a lot of power lines since then, lol. Have fun and stay safe.
@hectorsaenz8033 Hector, It’s been so many years since I’ve seen you, and I’ve got this picture right here of us both in Alabama. It’s wonderful to hear from you! I will try to stay in touch.
Powder water: just add water
What pistol do you carry. Getting around the age to carry and am torn between something classic or just a glock
Of all the videos I've seen with bag load outs, survival, INCH, etc ad nauseam, you added one thing that I've never seen... a list of what's in the bag. OMG EVERY bag should have one! Why aren't we ALL doing this?!
A good idea for first-aid and trauma kits as well as bug out bags
Bigger the buckle, the smaller the ranch. I have 1400 acres and wear a dress belt from Walmart. 10 bucks!
Hello Cowboy, where do cowboys go when the sunset finds them?
