I just tried out Jynx and Spinda on endless runs. On paper they seem really cool and you can make it work but its an absolute hassle so unless you are a masochist opt in for a different carry :)
Hahaha, i feel that, so far Ive beaten classic a couple times but Masquerain with the spa spdf spd boost move and baton pass to Lanturn with the water bubble move that regens health and stockpile really sweep hard and is borderline unkillable, the only problem is setting up, are there any other mons that can set up on the phys side?
one of my favorite carries so far been swoobat! simple + opportunist passive + calm mind + esper wing + stored power has been insane, especially when you run into many enemies with stat berries, since opportunist will give u the buffs and double them thanks to simple
Swoobat you say? Interesting pick, never used the mon myself. That does seem really strong, thank you for sharing :)
@@sayaznk my Hoopa unbound has opportunist + fused with Garnacl for salt cure and sturdy. It’s broken
Shout-out to Poipole as my current endless carry with beast boost and core enforcer. Wanted to try it out after I got both shinies last event. Just want to grind more candies and still need the rare egg move.
You can still do a version of the tinkaton exploit for endless eternatus, you just need to fuse it with a heatran, so you have a fairy/steel type with flash fire, guving it immunity to all of emdless eternatus' moves
Thats not an exploit friend, thats just a smart strategy :D Thanks for sharing!
@@Knetterkoekje I just called it an exploit because it feels cheap/unintended
Fairy-Type + Heatran 🤝Steel-Type + Dachsbun
*Immunity to Eternatus*
@@jeremycorbin9960 i do the same thing with well baked body dashbun and levitate revavroom. steel fairy with well baked body and levitate :)
@@samuelzelalem3079 omg four immunes!?!?
Dude thank you so much for this I had no idea exadrill could be such a good carry and he happens to be my 1 epic tier shiny Pokemon. This really helped a lot!
Glad to hear it and my pleasure! Hope you have a blast with your Excadrill ^_^
couldnt wait for the vid after you leaked spinda on stream a few nights ago, did not disappoint as always! great video, probably going to use spinda in classic now lmao
Keep videos like this coming! Maybe update it monthly so we got new ideas on carries to run~
If not for you I'd never had thought that sushi looking mon is usable
🤣
Glad you like my content friend! I have a ton of videos in the works, its been a little bit quiet the past 1-2 months. Stay tuned ^_^
2 days ago I managed to unlock the endless mode, I think that thanks to this video I will be able to reach high levels easily without so much level difference.
Ayeee congrats on beating classic friend! If you are struggling with endless mode and would like an overview on what to expect and what to look out for feel free to have a look at my ultimate endless mode guide :) Linked in the description of this video. Good luck have fun on your endless run!
@@Knetterkoekje thanks brother
Great vid, really helpful!
I used ghold as my endless carry for metal burst strats. I talked in some streams about using it and being sad that it was nerfed and the streamers laughed at me. Good to see someone else agrees that he was the goat
A bit dumb of streamers to laugh about someone's pokerogue experiences. I think everyone who knows what they are talking about agrees that gholdengo was amazing, and still is honestly :)
Inteleon is my go-to carry for classic mode. Costs 1 when fully candied, can single-handedly take out Rayquaza and Eternatus with frost breath, and Water is a great defensive typing. Most grass types get taken out by frost breath or aeroblast, and most electric types are frail enough that if you can outspeed them you can just OHKO them with Snipe Shot. Top Tier pokemon.
Nice pick! I've had Inteleon do amazing things for my during challenge runs ^_^
Honey gather is also very useful at 4k+ in endless to have infinite cash each round when you reach the cash limit
A lot of folks sleep on Palkia, but it gets origin pulse as a spread move and once you change it to its origin form it absolutely shreds. Speed boost passive is a little redundant but helps a ton early on. Hardest thing about it, is finding a good fusion partner that improves upon what its already working with.
I'm 2000 floors in and still shredding.
@@greydragon8973 you could get sturdy on it(magnezone, gargaenacl, etc)really helps later on
This video will definitely help me.
Despite me hating the way endless is currently, I definitely appreciate seeing pokémon that are not Legendary actually work
Time to try out Delphox 😅
You are going to fall in love with Delphox! Have fun and yeah I am also eagerly awaiting the endless overhaul. Can't wait to see what the devs cook up ^_^
Been using darkrai instead of gold and it’s been using it amazingly
I use mega beedrill for a carry. It has huge attack and speed stats, thousand arrows, and pin missile, which gets more chances for kings rock and grip claw, and the way boss health barriers work makes pin missile does more damage than stronger moves. Plus, the abilities are adaptability and tinted lens. Lasty, you can boost attack with fell stinger.
That spinda I had an epic Shiny and it carried me halfway into my mono normal run, and it with Mega kangaskhan was a lifesaver
Nice one!
Hello friend first time watching your video. You made me want to play this game again 😊
Happy to inspire you to start playing again :) Any mon specifically that you'd like to try out?
Not necessarily a carry, but pairing a ghost type (like Shedinja and Ghastly) with Skitty makes it absolutely UNSTOPPABLE. Skitty has the ability Normalize and passive Scrappy, and with Fake Out, Covet, and Entrainment (teaches Normalize to any Pokémon), and adding speed boosts to it can turn Eternatus from a Hydrogen Bomb to a Coughing Baby
Hahaha I love the metaphor! Yep the entrainment strat is a very powerful one too ^_^
I would also highly recommend dracovish, it has triple axel ans dragon hammer as egg moves which can sweep the early floors but the main reason is his signature move fishious rend which with its strong jaw ability 95% of the time 1 hit ko's anything. It dose take some building but it's a very fun run once it gets going
Yeah in the early game Dreepy is basically non existent. I was struggling with him on my randomized mono dragon runs (took 9 attempts and randomizations to eventually beat it no resets). Dreepy was on the team multiple times. I guess once they evolve any dragon can be a powerhouse haha. However Fishious Rend does set it apart. That move is insane, Feraligatr also gets it and I was surprised by how hard it swept in classic ^_^. Thank you for sharing!
@@Knetterkoekje isn't dreepy the preevo of dragapult?:)
I think Arceus is very good too even if it is 9 cost. Arceus can adapt to almost anything because of his hability. Multitype and the plates that work with it you can change type at any moment you got access to extreme speed and sword dance, judgment for covering and astral barrage as an eggmove, and if ever comes an update that adds the leyend plate, you are serve as it changes your type the most optimal and super effective example is Against ghost type you are going to be a dark type not a ghost type as it has a weakness against it self
I've never heard anyone vouching for Arceus, interesting! Yeah I guess there is a reason its costs 9. It is the god of pokemon after all. The thing is with a cost of 9 you're gonna need so many reductions and ofc the idea of this video is to offer people some budget options ^_^ What is the furthest endless wave you have managed to reach with Arceus?
Can you change the type mid battle? Then shedinja is a great splice
another suggestion i have is cinderace, libero + its passive (no guard) + all of its egg moves except extreme speed + its gmax form makes it busted. i ended up with the final moveset of pyro ball, high jump kick, bolt strike, and triple axel. it will not let you down
Cinderace is a monster! Used it for our randomized mono-fire run. It was def the MVP of the run ^_^. Thank you for sharing!
Tapu Lele is my favorite because of two spread moves (heat wave and expanding force) and gets sheer force and psychic surge plus it learns nature's madness for the endgame fights
Tapu actually makes for an AMAZING carry! I take him on the team every time but for a different purpose. To transfer natures madness to shedinja hehe. But taking another tapu as a carry is actually a great option :)
@@liamhood1919 i didn't know nature madness worked against bosses, good to know
This is a good one, but one of my favorites has been chi-yu. It gets 2 stab spread moves in fiery wrath and eruption, (and torch song to boot) and it’s abilities (beads of ruin and drought as a passive) not only synergize with its moves, but can also synergize with other party members.
I'm glad you said pinsr. I got a level 2 shiny for him and found him to be pretty darn good I just can't get RNG to bless me with mega stones
Nobody mentions Mega-Lopunny, great atk and spd, great ability, access to multiattack, quick attack, triple axel and power-up punch... A beast.
A worthy mention indeed, thank you for sharing friend!
Sleeper pick: Flygon.
Adaptability as a passive and thousand arrows as a stab egg move is great. There are stronger attack mons but that combo has been great pre wave 2000 (have never gone that far just due to not playing that long)
Oh boy here I go playing an endless run with spinda
Yesss!! Lets bring Spinda to the top :D
I think houndoom is pretty good since it has drought+solar power if ur mega and unnerve as hidden ability for base it also has fiery wrath and heat wave for stab spread moves and a solid speed stat with only a cost of 3
Interesting Pick! Thank you for sharing :)
I've always used Beedrill as I'm my friend group's dedicated Bug Catcher. Even without mega he's strong, pretty fast and gets access to some insane egg moves
Beedrill is insane, he could have very well been on this list. Thank you for sharing!
Oh wow glad other people notice beedrill goes crazy in pokerogue
My actual carrier is a scovillain with parental bond, apple acid and toch song, fused with heatran (becaming grass/steel) with flash fire and equiped with kings rock and 2 multilens (in one turn, attack 6 times, granting a plus 6 sp attack, or reducing in 6 the sp def, and great chance to flinch)
I absolutely love Scovillain! Never used the mon but I had him on my mono-fire team and its such a nice counter to water/ground/rock types ^_^. Goated mon, nice pick and thanks for sharing!
I've found that Hoopa with his passive ability Opportunist, and his main ability Magician, is actually cheap, as you don't quite need a pickup mon, with Magician. Insane SpA and when unbound, his speed is just high enough and incredible typing.
Thats a great option too! Thank you for sharing :)
I stumbled upon a Hoopa on a run where mega charizard X was my carry with multi lens, beast boost and spamming bitter blade. Then I got the bottle and dna splicers to merge the unbound form into the charizard.
Now “Mega Chapa X” is a heavy hitting magician stealing 4 items per turn and healing itself. Not optimized typing with fire dark, but pretty fun and love snagging so many items.
Krookodile gets Moxie, has decent speed and Earthquake access at level 44, had a great time with him
Krook is a beast! Used him in multiple challenge runs as he was picked by the randomizer :D
Im a fan of Porygon Z withs its adaptability and having protean as a passive
Oh yes that is also a great option! Having double stab can make pretty much any mon strong ^_^. Thank you for sharing!
do u think darkrai is still a good carry after his egg move changes? ALSO YOU COMPLETELY MISSED OUT ON ENAMORUS. Not budget but if you manage to get contrary on enamorus and fluer cannon egg move, then you have a 106 spe and 135 spa fairy flying carry with access to superpower and mystical fire. Disgustingly good mon and very underrated.
There are probably 100+ mons that could be potential great carries, impossible to name them all hence I ask for your feedback haha. Thank you for sharing this! That does sound like a goated carry. And yes darkrai is still decent, but nowhere near as good as it was ofc.
Darkrai only needs fiery wrath lol, but make it rain/fiery dance is also better than searing shot in my opinion and dark void is 95% in endless with 3 wide lens
My personal carry rn is poplio, I have it with all four egg moves and it’s passive. Bouncy bubble is broken on it lol
Oh yeah Popplio is insane. Primarina was by far the strongest pokemon for me when I did the hardcore challenge, which is now the official fresh start challenge. We did it way before the mode was introduced :D
Thoughts on male indeedee as a carry?
Its speed is alright at 85 and its special attack is 105 it gets psychic surge expanding force and matcha gotcha as an egg move
A little bit on the weak side, but it should be able to carry, needs a bit more investment than other carries (vitamins, early soul dew's etc..).
My current strongest carry is Flygon, I think. Especially amongst my Shinies.
Adaptability boosted Dragon Darts for Sturdy and Thousand Arrows for spread.
It's just hard at the start as Trapinch is slow af.
But since Flygon only has 100 Base Attack and Speed, there will come better options for me.
I did not know Flygon gets thousand arrows as an egg move! Yup that sounds like a great carry, but it does need some help in the early game like you've mentioned :P
My best carry is moushold population bomb is op if u have grip claws and kings rock and multi lance 10 hits that all flinch and steal items
I knew someone was going to mention this :D Yeah its pretty darn nice. I needed one of those yesterday when I was playing some classic and the Typhlosion on the Evil Team Boss of Wave 165 had a grip claw, stealing all MY items. I have never seen a grip claw on trainer mons. Guess its a replacement for reviver seed haha.
fusions takes everything up to 100000. espathra+ mismagius are brutal. beads of ruin+opportunist with no need of multi fusing to get her best egg move lumina crash. turn 1 lumina crash you easily activate enemy berries and boss health bars while making them weaker and copying their boosts,if anything survives lumina crash, then its astral barrage time, also you can get aura sphere for the occasional normal/dark mon
What do you mean by fusions take everything up to 100000? As in the pokémon level?
@@Knetterkoekje not the level per se,but the sweeping potential, fused mons tend to be able to go much further until having to rely on DoT/metal burst spam
Im planning to use baxcalibur as a carry since he has a stab spread move with glacial Lance and dragon darts to boost speed Even though he reaches The bare minimum with 83 speed, and 145 attack is strong
Edit:i mistook dragon darts for scale shot. but he does get scale shot as a TM move and d-darts as a egg move
thoughts on Walking Wake with Beast Boost passive as a carry? Its the only one I have candies for :')
I feel like I need to bring along a sun setter for it though otherwise its ability is pointless
That could be a very strong carry! Just give it a spin :) let us know how it performs for you please.
@@Knetterkoekje I have managed to CRUISE to 1800 and farmed a bunch of lucky shinies (nincada and nacl namely) however I bricked my metal burster and unless I get mega lucky I wont be able to fix it. So accepting defeat once I hit a wall and going again. Wake is extremely strong, biggest weakness is pulling fairy cave early. I am trying to find a mon to keep an eye out for to get a splash move that will patch the weakness
my favorite carry is redidraco because he only costs 6 points gets the egg moves take heart, flamethrower and meatior mash for abbilities he gets dragons maw and I have not gotten the passive
also it has GOOD stats
my personal mon is kartana with his passive and beast boost increasing atack by one and healing him
A lot of people love Kartana, I've never used it myself but I can see what it is so good :D
I just spliced Malamar into Gholdengo to get Contrary back. And Steel/ Psychic is still nice =D
Haha thats one way to pretend like nothing ever changed :D Steel psychic is really good typing!
Reminder you can get a castform to fuse with your carry, it has eruption, quiver dance, boomburst and hydro steam as egg moves (should've been waterspout)
That is also a great option ^_^. Pretty nutty egg moves indeed, had it on my team during randomized mono normal.
@@Knetterkoekje either that or grab either Groudon or Kyogre. One Multi lens and max wide lens makes it so everything else you need are shinies and a roar mon + protect on your carry. (Since this is just early game farming, this is more efficient, if you're going for shinies, Knetterkoekje's videos for conversion shedinja should be the actual video you comment dwellers should be going to)
Plus, with any mon carrying spread moves that aren't normal or ghost, and have mold breaker, you already can just transition your carry into the flinch support. No second thoughts, you already got yourself an easy way to go to late game (unless you're not getting your accuracy drop mons, super fangs, DOT, etc.)
So... is calyrex worth using? Cuz i got a blue shiny of him but from what i understand you need a rare item to get his good form. But if it were gotten youd have an ungodly fast stab astral barrage mon who also gets basically special moxie and unnerve to shut off enemy berries. But you have to start with sucky normal calyrex so im wondering if its worth the hassle given its rng to even get his reigns or if id be better off using other mons as he still has a fairly high cost
You can def use Calyrex, but perhaps you want to take another carry with you to use untill you get the reigns. He is a bit too high cost for what it brings to the table tho, but you can always give it a shot :)
@@Knetterkoekje yeah the only issue is he takes a while to get his damn reigns. I really wish they were made more common or they'd reduce his cost. Though I found another shiny I think might be really great, what do you think about a red star nincada w/ how much shedinja is useful in these kinds of endless runs esp w/ fusions? further because both ninjask and the shedinja produced are red shinies always, it'd basically be a 2 for 1 so while it can only reduce to cost 2, you'd get 2 of em for that price. I was actually considering the idea of fusing it w/ a sturdy to get a sturdy+magic guard shedinja and trying to get the moves endeavor (though since that doesn't work on bosses i may consider swapping it for nature's madness, super fang or something similar), salt cure, soak and toxic. Or should I try something else for it?
@@Knetterkoekje As an update to my idea of a 1 hp sturdy+magic guard shedinja... I got to test it near the end of a classic mode run and... for whatever reason this fusion doesn't have 1 hp so I suppose you can only get 1 hp off wonderguard. How sad. I thought I really came up with something that'd change the game there but for whatever reason when I fused shedinja w/ garganacl to try to get sturdy+ magic guard it didn't have 1 hp which made it worthless. but hey i least learned it at the end of a classic run vs deep in an endless and still won that classic run anyway. That said I really would like to ask what are important red shinies to get other than that nincada and probably a red shiny of a pickup+run away mon? Speaking of which pickup+run away mon is best? From what I can tell both zigzagoon and sentret get that so I'm wondering if one's better to use than the other as well as what'd be other useful red shinies I should try to get now that I have this amazing nincada red shiny
anyone know how to get hidden abilities easier? i recently got a the +2 luck shiny version of snivy and I absolutely love the color scheme. I also have both make it rain and clanging scales as egg moves. but the most important piece, contrary, is the one thing i dont have 😭
The best thing you can do is either just spam endless with 4 shiny charms. OR if you want a specific HA grind candy for it and hatch eggs :) Nothing you can really do to deterministically get them. Congrats on the rare shiny snivy!
@@Knetterkoekje tyyy. yeea im planning to get candies for snivy somehow. also trying endless with a different carry (xurkitree x mega alakazam) that i don't see people mentioning.
I had max ability charms and ran into a snivy that had it. Seemed pretty lucky and hard to repeat.
Great vid, does this works for classic ?
Thank You! Of course all of these picks are very strong for any mode :)
7:26 someone coming from pmd smoochum is known to be a great mon for no item/reset dungeons
Interesting, didn't know that mon was good in mysterie dungeon :D
Chandelure is such a tough carry to pick since it evolves so late. You’ll be stuck with litwick at floor 50
It evolves into Lampent at level 44 and it should not be that hard to get a dusk stone with improved item weight. And on an endless run youll have close to 14 shiny luck from the get go if you're not completely new. Doesnt get the best early game tho there is no way around that. But it should be able to carry still :)
@@Knetterkoekje oh I’ve beat endless with it as an early game carry, it was just so chaotic for the first 50 floors cus I didn’t realize it evolved so late so I had to quickly pivot to porygon-z carry till I got chandelure. Just wanted to warn people before they run into that situation lol
i like krookodile if you have moxix it get earthquake at lvl 44
Krook is an absolute monster of a pokemon! Thank you for sharing :)
I feel like I must be in a unique situation... I started playing yesterday and I just beat classic. So I have like 5 shinies to my name. Do I just start grinding endless 1-300 (that's as far as I can get right now) or should I do more classic clears?
Congrats on beating classic, and in 2 days! That is rather impressive friend :) - Both work, so you should pick what you have more fun with. However you should easily be able to get to wave 1k+ with some better strategy even on a fresh account. I highly advice you to check out my ultimate endless guide for PokeRogue. Good luck and have fun with the account progression!
@@Knetterkoekje floor 1800 as we speak and I watched your guides... multiple times hahahaha you basically have been side monitor content the entire clear
Axew gets dragons maw as passive and glaive rush as an egg move. this pretty much equates to a 270 bp attack by a 147 attack mon who can also learn swords dance and dragon dance naturally while also learning dire claw and bitter blade through egg moves while only costing 4 slots max. absolutely broken Pokémon once you get him maxed out
I've been using sharpness + ultraboost kartana and some shinies to up my luck, but any other idea is welcome
Kartana is amazing and has been a community favorite rightfully so, just like Zacian and Kyogre and Groudon. I did not feel like mentioning them all, but I might actually make a top 10 - 20 video, where I dive into deeper details about why one carry would have the edge over another :)
He was 5 cost(aka minimun of 3 cost)
if we dont have a shiny carry what should we do? is it worth it to get more luck or go for groudon?
If you have nothing shiny that could potentially carry just go with your groundon as a carry yes :)
my epic shiny Flamigo carry me on my early endless stage
even though that was my first endless, but i can reach then of endless, i can beat 5850 stage
Pyroar
Unnerve opponents can't use berries
Beast boost increases special attack
Torch song increases special attack
Hyper voice for spread
Multi lens makes Pyroar broken
Pyroar is amazing! Used him on my randomized mono fire type run ^_^ thanks for sharing
Is there a reason you didn't mention Zacian in the legendary section? It gets precipice blades as an egg move (which I guess has the downside of not hitting flying and levitate mons)
No particular reason, I have been advertising Zacian a lot as well. I just gave a couple examples of the stronger legendary pokémon you can use as a carry. I explain that almost any legendary can do really well, including Zacian of course ^_^
hey uhm,how do i get contrary on serperior? im new i dont really know that much but if you reply thanks!
I believe they took contrary away from Serperior if I'm now mistaken, otherwise it is either its passive or hidden ability.
oh, but thanks for the information!
very informative video!
Shoutout cloyster though
Skill link becomes busted with items; zoom lens hitting 20x, wide lens perfect accuracy, kings rock 10% flinch chance per hit, Grip claw getting any items they have off
Egg moves for rock and ground moves. Disgusting
I covered cloyster in the honorable mentions section :D in fact in hindsight some of these mons would be better than my ''great'' picks. There are just so many mons that can be a good carry its hard to cover them all, but I am going to do a top 50 list soon. I think thats a pretty fun idea ^_^. Not just top 50 for endless, but top 50 in general, be it for classic, challenge modes or even ironmon runs. Taking all factors into account.
Whats the website you're viewing the cost/stats of the mon in the video?
Its linked in the description :) ydarissep.github.io/PokeRogue-Pokedex/?table=speciesTable&
Scizor for me deletes everything easily, insanely strong carry for me

Mega lucario with thunder punch carry my run
I don't think anyone can deny the power of Lucario. Nice pick :)
Is there any optimal way to grind out candies, ?
Go endless, pick a carry and 5 pokemon that need to be grinded. Than get 3 soothe bells on every pokemon and spam rarer candies.
This is the way!

Is this a passive aggresive comment of telling me you think the music is too loud? Or you actually wanted louder music lol?
@@Knetterkoekje idk you tell me
Beldum
I tried seperior and it flops at wave 150 already with its trash special attack
Any endless run can technically flop at 150, you did not invest enough vitamins / items on it. Or you got extremely unlucky friend :(

You can try to watch the video with translated subtitles perhaps :)
@@Knetterkoekje
Esas cosas traducen bien cuando quieren

I understand the clickbait you need to do but there's simply no better carry than kyogre at the moment 😔
There aint no clickbait. The starter cost of a mon should also be taken into account and Kyogre is certainly not the best when it comes to that factor :) But yeah rightfully so he is mentioned in the video of course.
@@Knetterkoekje going bang for your buck then mega gardevoir is probably the best one due to expanding force and boom burst nuking everything for cheap

Cant wait for the devs watch this and ruin more pokemon in the next update!!!
Which pokémon were ruined other than parasect?
@@Knetterkoekje latias and chien-pao were my two favorite carries both ruined
Ik ruik nl
Time to take a shower I guess.
The video is good but I have to disagree with your way of farming candies.
Spliced mons split candy friendship, and even with 3 soothe bells, that's still worse than just playing classic with that mon since classic has the candy friendship passive boost
Thank you! I think the candy you get in classic is half of that of what you get in endless, than splicing the mon makes it a quarter of what you would get in classic. But if its a mon like Smeargle how are you going to clear waves in classic mode with it? Also endless is a lot more braindead and ultimately would be faster. But I guess it depends on the mon and what you like doing. Unless I am missing something about the friendship candy boost being changed?
@@Knetterkoekje Oh, I see, you got that wrong. The wiki says and I quote "Each time a Pokémon gains or loses points in Friendship, it will gain or lose an equal number of points in Candy Friendship (double the amount of points are gained in Classic Mode and Challenge Mode)". To be fair I do think that endless is a good way to farm candy but splicing kinda ruins that. Anyways, keep up the good work
@@Gamedres95 Maybe I’m missing something as well, but what exactly were they wrong about there?
From my limited experience, being able to take Rarer Candies every other wave with a full party of max Soothe Bell mons has actually built up candies rapidly for me, even on spliced mons.
On an individual mon, it may be a bit slower, but for the Spliced mons like Smeargle you’re not going to be using in Classic, the splice helps a lot.
@@ron4tron They were wrong about there being a passive candy friendship boost in endless.
Now let me tell you why I think that farming candies is better in classic.
You may not know this, but double battles give double friendship for both of your mons participating and in classic, if you get 99 pokeballs, they will get removed from the item pool, unlike in endless.
This makes lures and rare candies extremely easy to get reliably in classic around 50 rounds in, unlike endless, which would require a ton more rounds to set up (as you said, you'd need soothe bells and a realiable way to get rarer candies, so probably a lock capsule). So that + the double candy friendship passive boost in classic would imo be better than having to set up in endless.
So the plan would be have a carry that can hit doubles well (My favourite carry for that would be Zygarde), get as many common pokeballs as you can until you reach max and then cruise through the game getting lures and rare candies easily, also I think that this strategy is more "begginer-friendly" than what you're suggesting since this video is targeted towards people who recently beat classic
@@Gamedres95 OH, I just re-read their comment and see where the confusion lies.
I think (or at least read it that way myself, lol) that they misspoke initially, mixing up the words "Classic" and "Endless."
Mostly because in the second half of their first sentence, they accurately state: "splicing the mon makes it a quarter of what you would get in classic." The rest of the comment seems to support this. I also agree that weaker mons get easier candy gain in Endless than in Classic, in my experience (outside of the 2nd slot in Double Battles).
I'm aware Double Battles give double friendship, which is part of why I'm currently running "2 carries". Although, 90% of my entire team are filled with mons I appreciate candies for, which I take Rarer Candies for every other wave.
I will say, it's definitely true that Endless runs take more setup! But after that setup, Lures + Rarer Candies are *far* more accessible than in Classic, incomparably so.
Personally, I think there are benefits to both Classic & Endless grinding. However, if someone wanted to get into Endless for efficient candy grinding, I'd ultimately say that's a fantastic choice for easy Soothe Bell, Rare Candy & Shiny access (which ultimately provide more candy). That, and easier catch access with infinite Master Balls, providing +2 for every boss caught per wave.
I respect the opinion, though!
