Marie, the sound on our end is working very well. You may want to try listening on a different device or use headphones.

I have the issue of stifness in cold wheather and after excessive exercise. This is inherited from my father and my sister also have this issue butt not all siblings. How to cure this or atleast how to ensure that it should not transfer to next generation.

Hello, I have the same muscle disease. Born with it and passed from my father. There is no way to heal it, I have medication which makes the disease easier to live with called Mexilitine, Diamox is also a medication known to work great as well, I would advise to discuss this matter with your doctor. There is a 50% chanc3 the disease will genetically go to your offsprings. There is no way to control this nor prevent them from getting it.

@jassytheduck781 Yeah I am used to it. But I think its better to not marry then If it get transfer to further generation. What do you say about it.

@Random-qm3oo For me living like this is normal, I have good medication, physical therapy and a wheelchair if needed. Though the muscle disease can be challenging, my country offers good support which makes living with the disease very doable. Me and my partner would like kids in the future but of course due to the 50% monitored by doctors. So personally I wouldn't mind 1 or 2 offsprings, mainly because the disease is livable with and not life threatening. If the disease would be life threatening I would for sure choose not to have children. If you personally don't want children due to the 50% risk, depending if you're a male on female you could also look for a sperms or egg donor of someone who does not carry the disease.
