Ida, I'm so happy I ran across your videos!... I remember my mom used to make a lot of these dishes, but unfortunately she passed when I was very young and I never learned to make these authentic recipies : (... So thank you so much for doing these videos and teaching people like me!
When I was growing up, this was made throughout the year. I waited long enough for it to be warm and then I just had to have my portion. OMG, sooooo good. I haven't had this in years but now there's no excuse for me to wait any longer. Thank you for the recipe.
Pues gracias…mi abuela que vivia en Río Piedras lo hacía…thanks, I wasn’t shure if the recipe was corn starch or rice flour. She also would make one with milk, gelatin, cornstarch sugar , vanilla and canela.msjes would make a syrup for the bottom and it would flip like a flan but with no eggs.
I can't wait 2 try it. I was gonna say...it really looked like the tembleque receta but instead of the maizena, we put the harina de arroz. And add the vanilla. 😀 Luv ur videos! Keep them up!👍👍👍
Ascho yo estoy q lloro 😢 mi abuelita era la q me lo hacia la Ultima vez q lo comi tenia 7 anos y hoy Tengo 33 haber como me queda pero se q jamas como El de ella😢
I know this is not a food recipe request, but my family used to make homemade Piña Collada for the holidays. Could you please make a video on this delicious drink?
My madrina use to make this but she added lime rind. Is this the same thing? And we use to eat it warm or cold, also when cold she put it in a meatloaf pan and sliced it when it set. Please let me know if it’s two different recipes or a variation. Thank you
My mom use to make this for me only I used to eat it hot and I just wonder why no one ever likes the desserts while they’re warm because they are actually really 😋
Do you know how to make cremita de arroz omg my mom used to make it for me when I was little and I tried to make it the other day and that was a disaster lol it got so hard that I had to throw the pot away it was like cement lol

Hi. In my PRican family we call this tembleque and make majarete with cornmeal. Either way this looks delicious!
Magda Martinez Tembleque is made with cornstarch. There's a dominican recipe for majarete that uses cornmeal.
Hola Ida I live in Orlando too, I been looking for vanilla beans everywhere, where do you get yours?
No tenemos leche de coco ¿Que pasa si añadimos el resto de los ingredientes sin la leche coco?
Is it supposed to have a slight gritty taste?
Yes thats part of this dessert.
Do you know how to make cremita de arroz omg my mom used to make it for me when I was little and I tried to make it the other day and that was a disaster lol it got so hard that I had to throw the pot away it was like cement lol
Do you have a tembluque recipe that you could show us. Id like to know the difference on how to make these two.
D Santiago I do! It's on my channel.
